Random Shut downs & Firmware update

Question

I got my macbook the first week it was released. Was a charm - no problems at all, until I installed the firmware update. Same day I installed it, random shutdowns started.
I sent it back for repair on Friday, and got it back today (5 days later - Very impressed) with a note saying: Motherboard & Heatsink replaced.
Looks fine so far.
After being connected to the internet for a couple of hours, I got a pop-up asking me to install the firmware update.
Wasn't that supposed to be already installed in the new Motherboard?
Should I install it again?
Any ideas of what's going on?

Yes, I had the same "Shutdown" problem with my MacBook after purchasing it about a month ago.
At first, I looked at the Discussion Boards to see if there were any similar problems; there were. Many were discussing symptoms of shutdowns after cold startups, rarely are "random". Many said PRAM and PMU resets were no use, and that the "holding down the power button for 5 seconds during startup" was only a Temporary Fix. The shutdowns became more frequent as you left the computer alone.
I then called up AppleCare and told them the problem. They told me to take it into the Apple Store and have it looked at. When I took it, I told the Genius the problem, and the "Genius" tried it himself, and like usual, it shutdown within a minute. Right away, he told me it needed to be repaired and they took it in. When I looked at the Order Form, it said he orded a new Logic Board and a Heat Sink so I'm guessing Apple knows the problem and the solution.
Since I'm in Canada, I was told that they did the repairs in-store instead of sending it in to the factory. After 2 business days, I received a call and they told me the repair was finished, so now I wait until I pick it up, to see if the problem is really fixed.
