Random video playing in background

today i turned on my mac like normal, opened up safari to watch videos online, and this random stuff plays in the background...i recognize it as a video on youtube ive watched before but there is no window to see it or close it nothing is hidden its just sound and it wont stop...ive tried retarting my mac restarting safari and ever time after maybe 10-20 minutes the exact same ad and video plays...i have no clue where its coming from...even tried using a different web browser and it still happens...can anyone help? i cant find anything online and im about ready to throw the thing out the window..

Check your Dashboard widgets just in case.
Quit iTunes if it's open.
It could be an advertisement. From your Safari menu bar click Safari / Block Pop Up Windows

Random video plays as background to title instead of still

I added a still as background to scrolling credit title (iMovie11). When I play the movie, it's all good. When I hover over the still or export the project, what plays in the background is NOT the still but some random video clip. I deleted the whole clip (title, soundtrack, still) and problem is still there. How do I clear? This has not happened with other stills/scrolling titles I've used in the project. Videos play in background can't stop

Started having problems when viewing a video in Huffington Post in Safari. When click on a video to watch, another video starts playing in the background. When the background video finishes, another video starts playing. Only way to stop videos is go back a page or quit Huffington Post. This only started happening within the last week. I haven't installed any new software. Problem doesn't occur in Chrome. Thanks for any help.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.

How can I play a video in the background iphone 5s?

Playing Videos in the background in IOS 6.1

The highest software update for an iPhone 4s is 6.1.3 and that's it. An iPhone 5 can be updated to 6.1.4, so the chances are that you friend in the US probably has either an iPhone 5 with 6.1.4 or is mistaken and has a 4s that has 6.1.3 on it.
The highest for a 4s is 6.1.3 which you already have.

Why can't I play Safari and Chrome videos in the background anymore?

Before iOS 6, I was able to play videos on Safari and Google Chrome while the app is running in the background. I really enjoyed playing music from YouTube videos in the background whilst multitasking on other things. How come I can't do this anymore? Is it a copyright/compatibility issue or something? When I play a video, and pull up the app switcher to play the music, it has the app there, but when I press Play it doesn't do anything.

I did more research and found that after the 4.2.2 update if you leave the @me.com or @mac.com OFF of your "add mobileme account when logging onto ATV that the error message: cannot load content, try again later goes away and allows your Gallery movies to play. Hope this helps.

To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them.

DVD plays random video after disc is stopped for 1st time

For some reason when i stop a disc that I made with DVDSP 4.1.1 and then press play again, instead of starting on the main menu or in the middle of where I left off, the disc begins playing a random video that I hadn't even accessed yet. Why would this happen?

Are you Pressing stop in one of your menus?
Pressing stop then play in the menu domain will automatically default to track 1 in your outline. Disable your user ops in that menu if you want to prevent this behavior

Random video is played when clicking Disk Menu on Win

A random video is played when clicking on button “Disk Menu [Ctrl+M]”on WinDVD 7 controller. Why is this? Everithing worked fine on a Apple computer.

Please check DVDSP User Manual topic Remote Control Settings in the Chapter 17 and check you have the right settings for the remote control Menu button.
Did you try in a stand alone player and/or another PC DVD software (i.e. VLC Player)?

BUG: Playback Fails When Loading A Random Video - Firmware 1.2

I've been looking all over on where to post a bug, and for a fix for this bug I found. Not many seem to be having this problem (I assume not many are trying to randomly play a video from a video playlist)

iPod FIRMWARE: 1.2
PROBLEM (1): When pressing "Play" on a video playlist or on 'Music Videos' while the iPod is set to Random->Song, the iPod displays a white playback screen, displays song 0 of 0, empty duration bar and a duration time of 0:00/-0:00.
PROBLEM (2): After successful playing a seleted video within a video playlist or music video list, the iPod attempts to play a randomly choosen video (HDD clicks abnormally) but times-out and returns the user to the Playlist selection screen.
iPod MODEL: 60GB Video - Black [Bought in NOV 05]
If anyone knows how to report a bug, or anyone else having this problem (Try it on you iPod, post your results!) let me know!

Why is Safari 5.1.7 for Windows the only browser that displays video with gray background, when it's white in four other browsers?

Here's my coding obstacle to overcome with Safari in my local dev environment using Windows 7 32-bit and wamp server. I created a pretty straightforward one and a half minute animation in Flash with a white background. Then I exported it as both an swf and avi video, then I encoded to several different file formats - ogg, mp4, and webm. Firefox 19, Chrome 24, and Opera 12 all play the webm file correctly showing the video's white background as expected, and IE 10 plays the mp4 correctly.
However, when Safari 5.1.7 plays one of these files that I can't distinguish (because right click functionality displays nothing), the video's background property is changed to (gray) throughout the video instead of white. What the?
Can someone please provide a workaround?

Yes, I am still having the automatic tab reloading and I am ******* sick of it.
I have lost count of how much work I have lost because of it.
I have 8 GB of perfect new RAM and tonnes of SSD HD space, I have tried reinstalling the OS etc and every fix on the internet (no (SP) mode does not work, nor does switching Java off etc, it's not an extension nor corrupted anything ... it's an uncontrollable fault with Safari).
Why does it keep happening !?!
And I am so sick of Apple not acknowledging this and responding to it.
What triggers it ... it is a built memory or cache limitation? It is a plain and simple crash?
How do I debug it to find out?
It strikes me that 20 years after the internet went public Apple ... despite all their billions and open source developers working for free ... still cannot make a browser that does not crash and so they decided to make a browser that *appears* not to crash ... except that it *does* ... only now the facade remains erect but everything else behind it crashes causing all tabs to reload, and videos and music start to play.
And there is no way to stop it doing so.
The most key app of our day and it is a POS.

I have seen a few examples (none of which I have a link for)
of flash
video that plays on a HTML page that is not confined to a

So the video of a person is shot against a green screen and

Update to Flash Player 11 bring bug with wmode="transparent" & video plays at half speed in IE 9

Since i updatet to Flashplayers 11 still i get, wie other peoples here too - a bug in wmode transparent and video plays in half speed (Sound still be correct)!
It seems the transparent bug ist just in IE9!
Firefox 7 & Google Chrome works properly!
Video play half Speed Bug it seems IE9 Browser (with Flasplayer 10.x.x it still work before properly)!
The older Version of Flashplayer 10. x:x still work properly in IE9!
Please refix the bug in the Flashplayer 11 as soon as possible for IE 9!

No flash videos playing in any browser

I am having this issue for over a month or two now, i can't play any videos on any browser, i tried firefox, then IE , then chrome, i re-installed all of them, updated flash, updated real player, downgraded flash , cleared browsing history,disable hardware acceleration, everything that i could do, but didnt get the issue solved, whenever i open a video on youtube or even dailymotion, the browser would start browsing but then everything would stop and i'd see a black screen , and when i right click on the video , instead of the usual drop down menu of flash... i get other menu with options like " inspect element" , "save" etc. please anyone could help ??? btw i have windows x.p , FF 17.0.1, flash 11.5 updated java, installed real player and updated it too ...,

Thanks for your reply Pat , i followed your post to see if the device drivers needed to be updated, i downloaded the drivers from the SIS site and updated my drivers, but the problem still persisted. The worse thing is that i've not tried all these solutions on one single pc , i've tried on my pc , then i've also tried on 3 different computers at my workplace as well and all show the same problem.
Then you said about Real Player, i had installed real player coz i saw in some posts that updated real player also solves problem in some cases. But now after your reply , i disabled all real addons and tried but no solution still.
Here i'm including 3 screenshots , first is from Dailymotion.com (a random video from their front page) , the problem on this site is that when i right click on the video i do not see the flash dropdown menu here , and another thing is the text just below the video , i always see this text overlapping its never arranged as it should be in the website.
2ndly , here's the screenshot of the front page of youtube.com, when i open the front page , i can't see the static image of the video in thumbnails , it's written "thumbnail" instead .
and when i open any video on youtube , when i right click here, i do see the flash drop down menu but the video never plays. here's the screenshot.
so any solutions now ???
