Solution
BW3.0B
Import Support Package 17 for 3.0B (BW3.0B Patch 17 or SAPKW30B17 ) into your BW System. The Support Package will be available when note <Z1>571742 with the short text, "SAPBWNews BW 3.0B Support Package 17", which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.
To provide information in advance, note 571742 may already be available before the Support Package is released. In this case, the short text will still contain the words, "Preliminary version".
BW3.1C
Import Support Package 11 for 3.1C (BW3.1C Patch 11 or SAPKW31011 ) into your BW System. The Support Package will be available when note <Z1>571747 with the short text, "SAPBWNews BW 3.1C Support Package 11", which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers. Refer to note 110934, which contains further information about BW Support Packages.
In urgent cases, you can use the correction instructions. Implement these correction instructions into your system using transaction SNOTE. However, the preferred option is always to import the current Support Package (see note 375631 also).

Computer keeps restarting/sending error reports when on the internet
My macbook pro has been acting weird for a week or so. I'll be on the internet and then it will randomly shut down safari or google chrome and send an error report message. This also just started happening with my iPhoto and iTunes as well. Sometimes my computer will just shut off completely and restart with a message saying there was a problem and it had to shut down. It seems like there is some bug or maybe a third party add on I need to get off?!
Please help!!! Below I'll past the body of the error report when the computer shut off and said there was a problem with OS X.
Thank you!!!Here is the contents of the error report:

JNI - How to use the error reporting mechanism?
I've developed a C++ DLL which is loaded from a commercial Win32 application (not written by me) as a plug-in for external calculations. On its initialization the C++ DLL launches the Java VM via the JNI invocation interface. When the DLL functions are called by the application, they forward the calls to Java objects inside the Java VM, again via JNI invocation interface.
This works well, but I have encountered a weird error.
From Java I open a JFrame containing a JTextArea as small console for debug output messages. If I turn output to this debug console off (my printToConsole routine checks whether a boolean flag is set), the string concatenation operator may lead to a crash of the Java VM.
For example, if in one of the Java functions called from the
DLL via JNI invocation interface the following is the first statement,
it leads to a crash of the Java VM and the application that loaded the C++ proxy DLL.
String test=""+Math.random(); // String test not used later
Interestingly, if I comment this statement out, the Java code works fine WITHOUT any crash. I've already thought about potential races and synchronization issues in my code, but I don't see where this is the case. And the string concatenation error fails as well, if I insert sleep() statements in front of it and at other places in the code. However, if I turn on log messages printed to my JFrame debug console (containing a JTextArea), the String concatenation works without problems.
So maybe the JNI interface has a bug and affects the Java VM; I don't see where my JNI code is wrong.
One problem is that I do not get any stdout output, as the C++ proxy DLL is loaded by the Windows application, even if I start the Windows application from the DOS command line (under Windows).
Does anyone know how to use the error reporting mechanism?
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/vm/error-handling.html
Is it possible that the JVM, when it crashes, writes debug information about the crash into a file instead of stdout/stderr?
My C++ proxy DLL was compiled in debug mode, but the commercial application (which loaded the DLL) is very likely not.
I do not know hot to find the reason why the String concatenation fails inside the Java function called from the C++ DLL via JNI.Yes, I've initially thought about errors in the C++ code too. But the C++ code is actually very simple and short. It doesn't allocate anything on the C++ side. It allocates a couple of ByteBuffers inside the Java VM however via JNI invocation interface calls of env->NewDirectByteBuffer(). The native memory regions accessed via the ByteBuffers are allocated not by my own C++ code, but by the program that calls my DLL (the program is Metastock).
The interesting thing is that everything works fine if output to my debug console is enabled, which means that in the Java print routine getConsoleLoggingState() returns true and text is appended to the jTextArea.
static synchronized void print(String str)
{ MetaStockMonitor mMon=getInstance();
if ( mMon.getFileLoggingState() && mMon.logFileWriter!=null) {
mMon.logFileWriter.print(str);
mMon.logFileWriter.flush();
if ( mMon.getConsoleLoggingState() ) {
mMon.jTextArea1.append(str);
Only if output to the JTextArea is turned off (ie. getConsoleLoggingState()==false), the crash happens when the FIRST statement in the Java routine called via JNI invocation interface is a (useless) String concatenation operation, as described above.
String test=""+Math.random(); // String test not used later
Moreover, the crash happens BEFORE the allocated ByteBuffer objects are accessed in the Java code. But again, if console output is turned on, it works stable. If console output is turned off, it works when the (useless) String concatenation operation is removed in the Java routine called from C++.
I've already thought about potential races (regarding multiple threads), but this can be ruled out in my case. It almost appears as if the JVM can have problems when called by the invocation interface (I tested it with Java 1.4.2 b28).
All the calls between C++ and Java go ALWAYS in the direction from C++ code to Java. Unfortunately, there is no special JRE version with extensive logging capabilities to facilitate debugging. And the problem is not easily reproducible either.

Hi all,
I am getting a fax error report that prints randomly and is not followed by a received fax. I ran the fax test and it passed and came back without any known problems. I have been receiving faxes daily, but not as many as before and I am wondering if I am not receiving faxes. The error report does not show where the fax came from.
Can anyone help?
Appreciative,
kelseyptHi kelseypt,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you keep getting Fax error reports printing from your HP Printer, this happens randomly.
To better assist you can you please let me know the following:
1. What is the Exact model of HP Printer you are using?
2. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?
3. How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?
4. Do you get any error messages when you send a fax?
I look forward to hearing from you so we can get started!

Error Report/Crash Ind CS3/Pagermaker 7.0/can't PDF/or use distiller
In both Adobe Indesign and Adobe Pagemaker I get an error saying....Indesign.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
"If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost."
For further information about this error click here
It has a debug button on the left and an option to close the dialog box on the right.
Next I get another dialogue box: error signature
AppName: indesign.exe AppVer:5.0.0458 Mod Name: objectmodel.dll
ModVer: 5.0.0458 Offset: 0001dc8c
To view technical information about the error report, click here
I got this message after working in a large indesign file of 50mb with lots of placed PDFs, 500 page document, not in section.
But then I get this error with small pagemaker files, and it seems to be random, not to a particular file or location.
I cannot upgrade to dot versions as the CS3 software is not supported by the IT section of my work.
I work in a security environment and am struggling to produce PDFS, and carry out work on a daily basis.
PLEASE HELP!!!! ( not shouting, just desparate to get this fixed.)
Cheers.No I am saying that when only Indesign is open it gets the error message.
Which is the same when I only have Indesign open.
My technical officer here won't allow the update because it has not been tested with the security settings in my work environment.
And my colleague who has an identical machine works fine!!

IMovie consistently crashing! Copy of error report linked inside.
Hello everyone. I have been using iMovie to edit videos I film with my Panasonic DVD camera for a while now. Eventually, the program started randomly crashing here and there. I thought it had something to do with my camera, but it started crashing before I even plugged in my camera. Now it is to the point where the program won't even load, it crashes upon clicking on the icon to open the program. I have reinstalled numerous times, and I have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have repaired disk permissions and restarted. I am using iLife 08. All of the other iLife programs seem to function fine although I don't use them as heavily.
Here is a copy of my most recent error report. - http://jml.hxc.vc/imovie.txt (It is a text file linked from my server). It's mention of "creating more than one application" seems to make me think I have more than one instance of the program installed, but I don't know how to decipher it correctly.I've been keeping an eye on my error reports and it seems that the errors are not usually consistent. Lately they haven't been saying anything about creating more than one application, but KERN PROTECTION FAILURE or something. This is blowing my mind... I've never had trouble with Apple software. It seems to happen when I plug in my camera to begin importing video. Please, if anyone can help, that would be wonderful.

I would appreciate explanation of this event and help in this respect.
Thanks in advance for reply and best regards, EwaHi EWAGOSIA,
After all, I am supposing this is an information or warning level event, does your computer have symptoms such like frequently hanging, random freezing or blue screen? If not so I guess it's nothing to worry about.
I still think it is caused by bad compatibility of some applications or drivers. You could start with update your video driver and DirectX.
If the error still persists update all device drivers and keep your system up to date for good measure.
Regards

You will need to provide more details as we cannot see your computer screen. Does this happen every time you launch LabVIEW? What version of LabVIEW are you using? What version of Windows? Does LabVIEW crash? If so, what were you doing at the time it crashed?

Itunes wont open/ immediate "send error report message"
So I had a problem with me trying to install itunes 7.3 because of a missing itunes.msi. I followed the instructions i found from this forum as follows
"1. Go to http://www.ccleaner.com/ and download and install CCleaner. Run this program and click Run Cleaner. This program will remove most of your temporary files.
2. Go to http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1b d/msicuu2.exe and download and install Windows Install Clean Up utility. Click on iTunes and click Remove. Do the same for Quicktime.
3. Now you need to manually delete all of your iTunes and Quicktime files. This can take a very long time. Just go to C: and start searching through.
4. Go to the Run box and type in "regedit". Go through all of the folders in there and delete all iTunes and Quicktime files.
5. Go to Add/Remove Programs and Remove iTunes and Quicktime.
6. Download iTunes again and install it."
I then tried to open itunes and immediately a message pops up asking if i want to send an error report to microsoft. It seems as though step 4 might have truly made things worse.
Someone please help
Windows XPAfter you get the send error report message go to:
Start -> Control Panel (In classic view which can be enabled by clicking view classic.) -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer.
Select the Application log and look for the most recent errors (Marked by a red X).
Double click on the error and it will show you a full description. For an error similar to the one you are recieving it should report a 'faulting module' in the error.
Please paste that here. This will help us help you. -
Itunes wont open.. "send error report to microsoft"
Whenever i try to open my Itunes, a message asking me to send an error report to Microsoft appears. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both itunes and quicktime many different times and nothing is working. I have tried recreating the preference files or whatever, and also recreating the music library files that are potentially corrupt. please help me someone!!
gateway Windows XPI have the same problem too. I use Win2k3 on my Compaq Presario 2500 laptop. I have been noticing this problem since the day i decided to upgrade from iTunes 6.0.2.x to higher. As of now it seems to me that it is the problem with QuickTime. Worse part is afte uninstalling the iTunes I can not find QuickTime in add/remove program group.
Earlier for this reason alone I did reinstall everything, formatting the disk. Yesterday I just tried upgrading to latest version. Unlucky me stuck with the same problem again. Never expected something like this from Apple at least. Now I should row for clean install once again.
Tried to rolling back to earlier version of iTunes but quicktime seems to be the problem. -
Itunes wont open, encountered problem and send error report
Everytime i try to open windows, it says that itunes has encoutered a problem and needs to close. it has the send error report message too. please someone help
Meaghan, I already responded to your topic. Plus, it is simply not good to bury your post in other people's topics, and just for the future, if you have a problem without a good answer, don't post what has already been said in a thread. I know, the discussions take a little getting used to, but it is easy to get the hang of it after a couple of visits. You'll get it sooner or later. I know you will.

Did PC Recovery and Dowloaded iTunes, wont open, only get error reports.
I just did a PC recovery and have all of my music from iTunes backed up on a dock drive. I just re-downloaded iTunes and installed it. iTunes won't open, I just get an error report every time. I clicked on the setup file and tried to repair it. I've uninstalled it and redownloaded it. Still the same result. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could do?
does that help anyone?
