Rapid Non-Responding of Applications (Then Re-responding)

Recently I was getting the " nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." error message frequently
and went to attempt to fix it myself (probably not the best idea, however I am unable to send my computer in for repair while I am at college so this is my only option). After some extensive tests, I was able to hopefully solve the problem (however I am not
quite sure of this). Following this "fix" I have been now getting applications that will rapidly go non-responsive then responsive again. It can be seen both on the taskbar (where the icon will act like it has just been opened and slide in, stop,
reset then slide in again), as well as being seen in Task Manager (which just displays the status flips). I have no idea what could be causing this, however it may be related the fixes I attempted during the graphics card issues. Some of the steps I took during
that were making sure every driver was up to date (they were) and making sure my power supply and cooling were at an acceptable level. Any help would greatly be appreciated to try and fix this. While it has no immediate impacts on what I am doing, I am afraid
if the problem persists I will have BSOD's and other issues with the computer. Keep in mind this is a laptop, so I really am unsure how much hardware I could mess with. Furthermore, any simple explanations would be great. While I know computers to an extend,
I am not very savvy in the backend side of things. Thanks. Here is a pic of my specs as well: (pic)

What "Fix" have you tried?
The nvlddmkm should be a Nvidia display driver. If you've already tried to update the driver, then I suggest you reinstall the driver for a test, find the display adapter in device manager, uninstall , then reboot you'r pc, it will automayically
install the appropriate driver for your PC, check the result.
This issue also might be caused by driver conflicts, have you installed any new drivers recently, kindly suggest you uninstall them. And to eliminate the cause, you can try to boot your pc in safe mode with a limited set of files and drivers.

    Hi All
    In campaign Automation we have a requirement to send and Email and Direct mail in Wave 1 and then send a reminder email2 and call1 to non respondants. We do not have  a survey in our requirement. Could you please tell me what rules should be defined to collect Non Respondants.The campaign execution is started but not flowing to the next wave.  I have used without condition rule for Non Respondants but still not triggering. Should I do any Badi Enhancement for defining rules in this scenario?

    Hi,
    1.)  If you dont have a survey in campaign, you cannot collect response from the BP. So, there is no way you can find out 
          whether a BP has resposnded or not.
    2.)  One scrap solution could be send a reminder mail to all the BPs again. You can schedule a new campaign element with start
          date as a future date.
    There is a tricky way of doing it. It might need lot of Workflow knowledge.
    Create a new workflow, which reads the infromation from the table CRMD_IM_ML_ITEM, with the information from CGPL_PROJECT and CRMD_IM_ML_HEAD tables. If sum_access or sum_replied is incremented, the BP has read the mail. You have to then refer the "CREATE TARGET GROUP" workflow to create a new target group for those BP. Those are the BPs who have responded. The remaining are the TG who did not responded. You can send a mail to these BPs.
    To achieve this, your mail should atleast have a tracking URL. Refer Personalized Mail Forms documentation in Marketing to know how to add a tracking URL in a mail form.
    To remind you, the above mentioned work flow creation will be a tedious job. If you can accomplish it, you will be able to achive what you wanted.

    It sounds like the iPod's storage has data corruption.  You may be able to treat it like an external drive and use data recovery software on it, but it probably won't work because the system is telling you that the drive needs to be formatted before it is recognized.
    If the problem is data corruption and there is no hardware-related problem on the iPod's hard drive, a Restore should fix the problem.  But this will obviously erase the iPod's hard drive.

    Quick Time Player always seems slow to respond, and I get the hour glass up for ever!
    Then when I try to shut down the laptop I get the non responding programme box..."padtouch_fingerwnd"
    when I "shut the non" responding programme down, I lose the "X" on the box and end up with "Close" sat in a blue box on my desktop.... Cannot get rid of the "close" and then end up with this not responding?

  • A FIX FOR: Slowest and Non-Responding Safari 5.0

    A-lot you reporting slowest and non responding Safari 5.0. I had same problem for the last month since the upgrade. After doing a little research yesterday and doing this fix I have found that this has solve my problem. Safari work now better than 4.0 now!
    (Close all internet connections and software before starting this fix)
    1) Go to your System Preferences / Network settings
    2 )Now for both your Ethernet and AirPort Connection or any other type of connection for each go to Advanced Button and open DNS settings.
    3)Write down your present DNS Server Number
    4) Add the following Public DNS Numbers
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    8.8.8.8
    8.8.4.4
    5) add back to the end of the list your original DNS Server Number
    6) Hit "OK" and Apply.
    7) Enjoy the new speed of Safari 5.0

    splendid! i've been so frustrated with safari 5's slowness and failure to completely load pages w/o a refresh each time. i had read about using opendns' and google's dnses (the ones listed in the tip) but never thought to apply them directly in network settings till now, as i had already entered them in my gateway/router (or whatever you call that device that hooks me up to the web). it really does make a world of difference! great tip!

  • Aperture 3 goes non-responding every time opened

    Hi, every time I open Aperture 3, it will freeze up, I get the spinning rainbow ball and it goes non-responding. What I suspect to be the problem is that it goes to a project with a bunch of videos and hangs because it can't load them all. I'm not sure how to make it so that it doesn't open to my last project.     Can you open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].

    I have a web application (non SAP) and the user base are also SAP users in an ABAP system.
    To strengthen the authentication in the web app, I wanted to implement SSO 
    authentication as we pity the users for having to remember so many strong pw's and I
    dont like LDAP based pw sync or other technology I dont understand, because then we are
    just yet another application with the same pw...
    We are having technical problems implementing SSO on the web app side, and are anyway a
    bit sceptical about the user admin / role admin assignment if we get it to work.
    So I have created a transaction in SAP which browses the web app and the intention is to
    send the SAP sy-uname as the web app user. We can control this using s_tcode, and
    an own auth object on the WAS side and a check on the session type before the connection is
    established. In this sense we are dependent on the SAP concept implemented, but even so:
    The role assignment is controlled in the web app itself -> so assume that I am not overly
    worried about unauthorized access to the web application, as they would not have any
    system role for it as their sy-uname does not exist. (Infact we can monitor this)
    The browser on the front end is the SAPGUI with html controls on the SAP side.
    I would be interested in knowing whether anyone else has experience with this approach, and
    whether there are any areas to be carefull of?
    I would also like to know whether this is a strategic error?

    well, if that web application would run on the same ABAP backend system then the solution described in <a href="http://service.sap.com/~iron/fm/011000358700000431401997E/0612670">SAP Note 612670</a> would be applicable:
    a so-called "Re-entrance ticket" (based on the "SAP logon ticket" SSO proceedings) is issued, transported via the SAPGUI connection and back to the system via the invoked HTML control.
    But for non-SAP web applications that does not help.
    In that case only X.509 client certificates can be used for SSO. Actually, the web application could then also be invoked directly (independent from the SAPGUI session). The user is authenticated based on the X.509 client certificate - and not based on the ABAP userID (of the SAPGUI session).
    Well, if you don't mind the effort you could also use the "SAP Logon Ticket evaluation library" (sapssoext, see <a href="http://service.sap.com/~iron/fm/011000358700000431401997E/0304450">SAP Note 304450</a>) to evalute the SAP logon ticket externally. You'll then need to have a "stub application" at the ABAP side that triggers the http redirect to your external web application. Not a nice solution but a possible one.
    In the future SAML browser artifacts would be an option (preferable to integrate non-SAP applications). But currently that's not available (for NWAS ABAP).

    Your best bet is probably to start over by cleaning off the old software with the Adobe Cleaner tool:

    I just tried to use the ArrayController in an app. The app was not document based. I did everything as you are supposed to do, I made up a class called AppControll, set it Files Owner of the XIB file, connected the contend Array and so on. There were no warnings or errors, the compiler said No Issues, the Build was suchsessfull. But before the window has opened, the Application crashed. On the console was this log:

    The debugger tells me "Programm recieved signal SIGBART"
    If I cut the bnding to the contend array, the Applications stats as usual, but it dosent work, because there is no contend array.
    Then I tried something else. I made up a new project, this time a document-based one, and did exactly the same as I did before. It worked well and fine the way it should work. There was no problem and the ArrayController worked fine. I don`t think a made mistake writing the name of the array, because I allways copied and pasted the name to the IB. So I would like to know if it is possible to use an ArrayController in a Non-document based Application? What do i have to do differently? The reference about the ArrayController does not mention this. It would be great if you could help me soon, thank you.

    No, but actually this was not my Problem But It helped me figure out what the problem is in detail. If you use a document based application, NSDocument can call the subclass NSPersistentDocument. This automatically reads out the model (if you use Core Data. I do`t like Core Data because it`s sometimes a bit strange and it`s hard to hunt down bugs there, but I think basically the problem is the same) and create a managedObjectContext, wich is needed to run the NSArray Controller. The big question is now, how to call something simular to NSPersistentDocument wich is not a subclass ob NSDocument but of NSObject.

    Yes you can, there is no requisite that the consuming client should be azure hosted. It can be a console application too running on your local system, as long as it is able to authenticate against the azure ad. The sample that I have used
    here is a console application that talks to the key vault service.

    Office 2013 Home & Business Edition - None of the application (Word, Powerpoint, Excel or Outlook) is opening, not even in safe mode.. I tried to run the application in compatibility mode by right clicking the excel.exe and choosing the compatibility
    mode, still no success. It is installed on Windows 7 Professional SP1. All the latest updates are already installed. I have also tried Microsoft fixit, but still no Success. Please help!!

    The problem persists when we perform a Windows clean boot, right?
    Were the Office programs suddenly not working? Or it just can’t be open after you install it? Did you get any error message?
