Rapid restore for T30 2366-21 - Where to find / download

I had to wipe the hard drive on my T30 2366-21U. I no longer have any of the software cd's. How / where can I find a copy of rapid restore that will work with my laptop? Also, what is the recommended version I should be using? Help please.

If you boot while holding key combinations you might be able to start in OS X.
Start from OS X - X (some machines)
Select Start Up Disk - Option
Reset PRAM - Cmd+Option+P+R
If not then go to the OS 8.5 control panel Startup and see if any other OS shows up. This probably will not work with 8.5 though.
Lastly try the utilities Disk First Aid and Drive Setup to see if the partition will show up.
The older Mac OSs are terribly overpriced especially when the few who want them are people trying to keep the old stuff running.

I can't find any sort of "Talking Tom Cat" that provides message notifications, and without jailbreaking I can't see how it would be possible. The only Talking Tom Cat app I can find it a self-contained novelty app. If that's what you're referring to, just search the iTunes Store for "talking tom cat" and if the app is available in your country, you should find it. Be aware that while the app is free, the "gold coins" for all the accessories are definitely not free.

Hi Jeff. I did purchase Premiere Elements 8 from Adobe (download version), but couldn't find the files to download again on the adobe.com website. I did, however carry out another search of files from my old PC and eventually found the files to reinstall on my new PC, using my registered product serial no. Installation has worked. It seems that Adobe has stopped supporting version 8 as I could only find version 9 and later for download from the adobe.com website.

the ni.com web site indicates that it is supported, but when downloading
the HARDWARE DDK, the README said it is NOT supported...

Creative Cloud for Teams... where to find infos?

we use a volume license at work for CS6 Master Collection and we need special packages for deployment.
where can i find infos about CC for teams (or whatever the name is)?
is the licensing still done via files for CC or do we need a internet connection to activate the software?
at least there must be a way to download all CC apps at once and install them or create a deployment package?

You do need an internet connection for authenticating once every 99 days with "Teams". It's been announced that there is going to be a way for IT to package and deploy packages to users' workstations, but that's not available quite yet.

I have a machine that crashes regularly.
Recently I have found that there is a tool, called "Solaris CAT", that can be used for analysiing crash dumps of Solaris machines.
Unfortunately I can't find any download for this tool.
Does anybody know the URL where Solaris CAT can be downloaded from?

Where to find download for Raw Compatilbity 4.01

I tried unsuccessfully to find on the Apple site the place to download :
The Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 4.01.
This is for the Canon G-15 digital camera.
I could not find the place on the Apple site where I could perform the download.
For some reason, Raw can be read on my newer MacBook Air but not on my older IMac.
Where exactly on the Apple site can I find the download ?
Is there anything that I need to keep in mind when performing the dowload. (Like Praying to make sure it works ?!).
I will be most grateful for any and all assistance.

My more recent MacAir has 10.7.5 and it can process the G-15 Raw images; the Aperture program on the
Mac Air is 3.4.3 but on the IMac it is 3.2.4.
Are you happy with Lion on your MBA? Then it would be sensible to upgrade to Mt. Lion on your iMac. Mt. Lion is the better Lion. If you want to work with Aperture on both machines, you will be able to open your Aperture libraries on both computers - otherwise you would not be ablet to reimport an Aperture library that you edited on your MBA on your iMac.
My IMac has 4 gb. of memory
Is your iMac maxed out with 4GB RAM? Otherwise I'd try to add at least 4GB of RAM. The newest Aperture versions make more use of RAM, and if you like to keep other apps like Safari open, your iMac would profit from more RAM.
If you decide to upgrade, don't do it without the usual precautions - running the First Aid Tools "Repair database" before upgrading the library and making a full backup of your system and Aperture Library - William already mentioned the importance of the backup.

JDBC driver for MS SQL 2005 - Where to find them ?

I would like to send data to an External MS SQL Server 2005.
For that I followed the SAP doc "how to install and configure a JMS and JDBC adapter" and I found driver thanks to OSS notes 639702. But it doesn't work !
SAP tell us that we have not the good .jar files. We have "util.jar, sqlserver.jar, base.jar", instead of "msutil.jar, mssqlserver.jar, msbase.jar".
So I went on Microsoft web site but I found only a "sqljdbc.jar" !
Where can I find the good driver "msutil.jar, mssqlserver.jar, msbase.jar" for a MS SQL Server 2005.

We have installed JDBC drivers for MSSQL by following guide "how to install and configure a JMS and JDBC adapter" and they are "msutil.jar, mssqlserver.jar, msbase.jar".
The interfaces are working fine when we are sending data to MSSQL 2000, but when we are sending data to MSSQL 7.0, we are getting errors incompatible drivers.
Are there seperate drivers MSSQL 7.0 or we need to have different set of drives. Checked Note 639702 and as per note we should be able to find drivers installed on system at
- (NetWeaver 2004s:)
usr\sap\<SAPSID>\SYS\exe\<NUC|UC>\Platform\mssjdbc
I did not find the 'Platform' in my system at the above mentioned path.
Can anyone help us with this issue.

You cannot download OS X. If you have Snow Leopard you can reinstall it.
Downgrade Lion/Mountain Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer
      loads select your language and click on the Continue
      button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the
      Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the
      mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status
      of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then
      the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART
      info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on
      the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions
      from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS
      Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the
      partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on
      the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.

doesnt show the actual setting on a member server. As both policies are linked at domain level, will the effective policy be 7 or 10 on member servers/Workstation? How do we find the actual settings for above policy on any of the member servers?

Nowhere. You'll see this only on a DC, because this only affects DCs
(the KDC, to be precise, that issues these tickets).

Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3.183.23 or later, is for Intel Macs only running Tiger or Leopard, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.4.402.265 or later is for Snow Leopard onwards.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
