Raspptp.sys driver function

Hi experts,
What is the function of the driver file raspptp.sys in windows server 2008 R2, may server is experiencing BSOD due to this driver throwing error SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDELED.
Any clues why this is happening....???

As to why it's happening, you'll need to give someone access to at least a minidump, and a kernel memory dump is much preferred.
Is this a new syndrome? What changed on the system just before these crashes started happening?

In LabVIEW 8.2 (maybe 8??) you can import a dll with a proper header file and create a complete set of VI's for every function in the DLL. I'v tried this and it gave me some warnings about missing datatypes but overall I got 87 VI's in 10 minutes!!!

How do I Install an .sys driver file on windows 8.1?

I brought a pci-e laptop graphics card adapter of the internet and it requires me to install the graphics card driver software but I firstly have to install a vgapnp.sys driver file but I dont know how?

The main issue is to install the graphic driver software ,right ?
There are two ways to get the driver, automatically update from the windows update or manually download the driver from the manufacturer website and install it from the device manager.

After installing itunes Windows 7 doesnt boot and stalls while loading atipcie.sys driver

After installing itunes my computer stalls when loading atipcie.sys driver. Computer will not boot up in safe mode or Last known good. Only resolution was to perform System Restore to a time before itunes was installed, thus deleting the itunes installation
Anyone know of a fix or workaround for this issue ?

BSOD while updating to iTunes 10 with suspended installation of Apple Mobile Device Support. Network drivers no longer working as a result. Attempted fix by downloading from a different machine and competing install via files transferred over on flash drive. No dice. Attempted removal of iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, Apple Software Update to see if this would fix. Followed this up with a restart. This seems to have improved matters as system is starting up faster. No dice. Try reinstall network drivers from Sony ViaoCare disk. Installed and restarted. No dice. Next, try Widows 7 Network and Sharing diagnostics. No dice. Next try manual removal & reinstall of network driver using Device Manager, restart. Can't seem to re-install Network Controller. Still trying to solve this.

How to select and reactivate NIESRKW.SYS driver manually for the SCXI-1600 in Windows XP

I have problem's to select and reactivate SCXI-1600 driver in Windows XP SP2. First time when I installed Labview 8.5 and NIDAQmx 8.6 (
installed form the august 2007 media) so everything was fine and I made mesurements with my new SCXI based system.
Last week I removed SCXI-1600 USB Cable from my PC and then I plugged NI USB-6009 to the same port. Windows detected device
and I selected driver manually: \Windows\System32\DRVSTORE\niemxpS_9255CFE9C9DFD2A9A0DBE43093FD80D108D9EAEF\niemxpS.INF
Then I made some measurements fine.
Yesterday I removed USB-6009 and connected again SCXI-1600 back to the same port. Windows detected USB device fine but it can not locate driver for it.
I found NIESRKW.SYS driver from the \Windows\System32\drivers directory but where is INF-file? How to continue?
Looking forward someone help.

Got it working myself, just had a look in the system32/driversync folder and bingo

Error using SYS.XMLAGG function

Error occurs while using SYS.XMLAGG function.What could be the cause ?
I tried the below given SQL statement, it throws ORA-29913
error.

What is the database version? You can post this in XMLDB forum for further support.

Hidi2c.sys driver missing; throws Event ID 45 from ServerManager-ManagementProvider

At 10-minutes intervals, Event ID 45 from ServerManager-ManagementProvider is appearing in the ServerManager-ManagementProvider log.
The event message text is "Failure opening metadata of the owning provider for channel: Microsoft-Windows-SPB-HIDI2C/Analytic [hResult = Function failed during execution., hLastResult = The system cannot find the file specified.]
The referenced log channel (Microsoft-Windows-SPB-HIDI2C/Analytic) does not appear in Event Viewer, but is included in the Registry, and its Enabled REG_DWORD value is set to 1. The root cause, however, seems to be that the driver file
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\hidi2c.sys is missing.
Is there a solution or a workaround?

You may copy that file form other server.
Since this is Windows Server 2012 RC version, we don’t have related KB or description document for that.
But I think this issue will be fixed in product version.

Change Driver Function Names

Greetings,
I have a IVI Custome Specific Driver where I intially chose a name for the Class and its Functions. The driver works and I am good. I want to change the names of the Class and its functions. I did a search and replace within the C and H file, but I can't seem to change the links between the *.fp file and the code. Is there an easy way to change the names?

Hi Minesh,
The way to change the *.fp files is to change them inside those files. You can expand the function panel tree and right click on the individual nodes. There is an option for edit the function panel node and edit node. Edit function panel node will allow you to change the look of the function panel and edit node will allow you to change the name. I have not been able to find a better process than this but I will let you know if I do.

Can't start in Safe Mode or any mode - hangs on mup.sys driver

Can anyone help me. I have done a few searches on the internet and see that this is a familiar problem. I was using a usb storage key and someone removed it without doing so safely - my laptop then froze and the only thing I could do was turn it off at the on/off key.
Now I can't do anything - it just repeatedly goes to the same page saying that as there was a problem choose a way to start - I have chosen every single one and nothing - it loads up until this driver mup.sys and then just goes straight to the same page again. I have run out of ideas.
Can anyone help?
I am trying to avoid the recovery disc as I really don't want to lose my work yet but realise that may have to happen, mind you I have read reports that it still hangs even when you try that option.

Hi Rachel it sounds very much like a problem I had with my laptop a while ago. It boots up for 3 seconds, blue screens and back to the start. Unfortunately there's very little you can about it but backup your files and reinstall Windows using the product recovery DVD. To back up your files you need to get access to your files using a bootable CD/Floppy with NTFS support For this I recommend the following:
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ - BartPE (needs an XP CD with SP1+). BartPE boots directly from your CD-ROM it provides a basic Windows environment with networking LAN support and external USB flash drive.
http://www.knoppix.net/ - Knoppix bootable Linux CD (sometimes found included with computer magazines) this runs directly from your CD-ROM and like BartPE it also provides networking and USB flash drive support. If you are new to linux you might find difficult to use at first. However the KDE desktop provides useful shortcuts labeled: hda1 (harddrive) sda1(flash drive when connected)

Usbscan.sys driver causes Blue Screen of Death

I'm trying to set up an HP 8100 printer on my Windows XP desktop. While installing the HP software from the CD, I got to the section where I connected the USB cable, then a message said the driver was installed successfully, the I got a bsod naming usbscan.sys as the culprit.
This has happened twice more after reboots.
Any ideas on how I can correct this issue? Specifically, how to I remove this driver and how do I get the printer to work without it?

Driver functionality om Konica Minolta Bizhub c250

My office printer is a Konica Minolta Bizhub c250. I'm trying to install the printer on my new macbook pro running osx 10.6.6. The printer seems to support mac, and I downloaded the drivers from:

The drivers seems to install fine, and I'm able to print pages. The problem is that there are no advanced driver settings (two-sided printing, settings for color/greyscale etc).
After installing the drivers I get a window with some settings - I select "duplex unit" but this doesnt seem to do anything.
Is there a way to install this printer with full functionality like duplex-printing, color/greyscale, stapling etc. ?

I installed the drivers you cited and created a dummy printer. The options you want are there--just not in the usual places. In a print window use the pop up menu to look for the various categories of options. For Duplex, look under the Finishing. You will find a check box for Duplex. For Color/Grayscale, use Quality -> Select Color.
I think you will find all the options you need in the print window. You will just have to explore all the various option categories until you find the choices you want.

Hp update, now codec stwrt64.sys driver is gone

I did an HP update and now my IDT High Def. Audio codec is gone. Error(52) driver stwrt64.sys is the driver missing.
This is for an HP Pavilion g6 series g6-1c56nr. Windows 7 64 bit.

B46C_REQUISITION_CREATE is called in the program. Because i don't see any entry for this in BBP_FUNCTION_MAP table.

although the drivers FM B45A_REQUISITION_CREATE and B46C_REQUISITION_CREATE are still in the system, they are not in use any more within SRM5.0. Instead of these drivers, we use
the objectoriented adapors:

CD/DVD Drive functionality on Equium EA60

Hi!
I have an Equium EA60-155 Laptop which has a Mat****a DVD-RAM UJ-820S CD-ROM drive (According to information provided in 'Device Manager') The drive tray is labelled 'Multi Recorder' and 'RW DVD Rewritable'
The drive can read CDs and DVDs OK but when I try to use the drive to burn a CD or DVD, using Windows Media Player v10, I receive a message 'No CD or DVD burner has been detected'.
I have checked in 'Device Manager' that the drive is recognised and is reported as 'working OK'. Try as I might, I cannot get past this error.
I then tried using Nero and although the program 'sees' and reports the drive correctly, when I try to burn a CD, I get another error message "The drive is in use by another application." I am puzzled by this report, since no other applications are open when using Nero. I have a copy of the error log if this is required, but won't post it unless requested to do so.
My operating system is Windows XP with SP2 and all recent updates.
Any suggestions as to how I can fix this problem, would be much appreciated :)

Thanks for your reply. My OS is as it was installed when I purchased the Laptop - I have had no need to use the Recovery CD.
The 'Recording' tab does not appear when viewing the 'Properties' window so I can only assume that the drive is not being recognised correctly, although it is reported OK in Device Manager and appears in the 'properties' category.
Having done some more research, I checked the 'Windows Marketplace Tested Products List' and the DVD-RAM does not appear in the list, despite a sticker on the laptop upper surface which says "Designed for Microsoft Windows XP". If this is the case, then why does the drive not work with Windows XP??
I have tried searching for an updated driver but so far, no luck. The Toshiba website has a so-called update, but this seems to be applicable for burning RAM discs, rather than a Driver update. I tried installing this 'update' anyway, but it made no difference and did not update the driver which is listed within the 'Device Manager' sub-windows. The 'update' actually installed a new application into C:\Program Files..... which as far as I am aware, is not the way to update a driver!! I tried the normal driver update procedure, pointing the search location to the folder in which I unzipped the 'update' files, but a driver update file was not found.
Has anyone had any luck locating a driver update for this Device? (MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ-820S)

Is there a way to look in the sys drive and tell what L8 uses, and doesn't?

I loaded Logic Studio entirely onto my system drive ( 80 gig) - I thought I had to. The rest (3rd party plugs/sounds, exs samples, etc.), are on other drives.
Anyway, space is too tight on my system drive. When I installed LogicStudio I tried to get rid of stuff that I knew would be duplicated and therefore redundant, but some are still there.
My question is, is there a way to look at the contents of the drive and tell what is currently part of L8 and what is unnecessary or redundant? I don't know what to throw out, and something's got to go!
Id like to avoid a complete reinstall - and even if I did that, I'd still have to figure out what to throw away, and wouldn't be sure.

I just checked this, and I'm confused. There is 4.5 gig in the app support/logic folder and 12 gig in the garageband folder.
But in the library/app support/audio/appleloops folder there is also almost 29 gig of sounds. This would be essential too, I assume.
So I have almost 7 gig of sounds in my user/library/audio/appleloops. Since I don't have any custom apple loops, can I be confident that these are now redundant? Opinions appreciated.
