Raw Konverter Update 3.3 Installation bei Photoshóp CS

Hallo zusammen,

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS2/File Formats/Camera Raw.plugin

  • Raw Konverter 3.3 in CS (Version 8)

    Hallo,

    Hallo werbefoto, hallo Herr Adelsberger,

  • Digital Camera Raw Compatibility update installation issues.

I have attempted to install the Digital Camera Raw Compatibility update 6.01 but I am being asked over and over to restart my Mac Pro. The app store shows that I still need to install the update.

I was surprised to see it listed.
I don't have a shiny new Leica  .  Will have to make do with my shiny new RX1R  .
    (Added:)
I don't follow Medium-Format equipment, but a quick check tells me the Pentax 645D came out in 2010.

  • Blue Screen of Death After RAW Compatibility Update

My friend updated her 13" Black MacBook yesterday, specifically the "Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.3". After a reboot, she got the Apple "Blue Screen of Death", with no login window showing. Looking at system.log, there's a section that looks to be the culprit (this began after restarting due to the install of the update):
Nov 7 13:55:29 Philbert /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MacOS/loginwindow[31]: Login Window Application Started

Here are some things I've observed/tried, many from sources via the Internet:
    - I'm able to login in single-user mode
    - I'm not able to login in Safe Mode (hangs on white screen with Apple logo)
    - I've tried booting off the 10.5 install DVD and running Disk Utility - verify/repair disk, this comes back ok. However, if I try to verify/repair permissions, it runs for about 10 - 20 mins then freezes. I let the frozen process run overnight (10-12 hours) and no feedback. I can move the mouse, but I cannot select anything.
    - When the laptop is booted and on the blue screen, I can connect to it via AFP
    - I've tried manually changing the permissions of "/", by doing - chmod 775 /; chmod 1775 /;
    - I've tried removing the com.apple.WindowServer.plist and com.apple.loginscreen.plist files in case they were corrupted by the update
    - I tried running the "installer" command to re-install the update package from the command line. I run it with the "verbose" flags, I get no output and the process hangs.
Since I can connect via AFP I figure I'll be backing the data up and re-installing OS X. Pretty lame though, considering this failure was caused by running a Software Update. Anyone have a last minute suggestion for me before I go down that path?
I have the full system.log if anyone is curious!
    Cheers!

i don't think this is a router issue...i believe it's a hardware issue...this error occured when computer is not getting sufficient memory, drivers are not installed correctly or due to invalid driver installation of any devices installed on the computer...to just isolate the problem try connecting computer directly to the modem and check are you are getting a same error message or not and let me know.

  • Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.12 and later can not be installed on OSX 10.6.8.

    Hi
I bought a new Canon EOS 5D mark 3 and noticed that my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.8 can not handle the new raw files.
Searching google shown that I need Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.12 or later.
So I tried with 3.12, 3.13 and 3.14, but all failed during installation with error: "Dieses Update unterstützt nur Aperture 3 und iPhoto 9."
    Hmmm
    Checking iPhoto ...
About IPHOT shows "Iphoto '09 version 8.1.2 (424)"
So I've updated Iphoto with version 9.2.1 (which I found matching my OSX after stepping down from highest version down ..... Apple is here not really supporting users here .......)
Unfortunately this is only an update.
So I need to install first a newer Iphoto version.
Iphoto 11 I can buy in the app store, but I can not install it on OS/X 10.6.8 .....
    Lost!
How do I get my raw files of 5Dm3 visible in OSX 10.6.8 ???????
    Any help welcome
    Thx
    Wolfgang

I maintain up to date my system, yet I have from time to time when I take RAW picture issues in iPhoto not reading them.  Today, looking for another issue I came across this update and I was hopping it would resolve my issues with the RAW photos from my Pentax K-30.
    The error:
    Installer quit unexpectedly.
Click Reopen to open the app again. Click Report to see more detail information and send to Apple.

This laptop cannot be upgraded further without hindering its performance.  Hence, I need to keep the version of iPhoto that I currently have.

  • Can't install RAW Camera update 2.3

This post is actually on behalf of my brother. He has a 2007 MacBook, running 10.4.11 and has tried, unsuccessfully to install the Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.3
The installer runs, asks to restart, he complies, however can still not open the RAW images off of his Canon 50D. Here's the error Preview presents, after attempting to install the plug-in, then trying to open a RAW image:
However, the problem is not just with Preview, of course. Since the "update" should usher in system-wide RAW compatibility, but doesn't, neither Aperture 2.1.4, nor iPhoto 6 recognize the pics either.
I tried to determine exactly what is supposed to be getting updated here. (By the way, I'm running this same "RAW Update" successfully on my Mac Pro, running 10.5.8. And we've both got 50D's.) Anyway, on my machine, I navigated to:
    +Mac HD > System > Library > Core Services+ and found this plug-in:
Great! 2.3.0 However, on my brother's machine, even after a "successful" install of this RAW update, his plugin only reports the version as 2.0.11 - obviously it's not really installing properly. Oddly enough too, I packaged my plug-in and moved it to his machine, put it in the right folder, rebooted and still no luck with my 2.3.0 version of the plug-in. So I'm not sure what else to try.
Any ideas here? We also tried installing Digital Camera RAW Support Update 1.0.1 (Universal). I was thinking maybe this Support Update needed to be installed before the plug-in could work. However, attempting to install this item resulted in him being told that it was unnecessary. That he was already up to date. So, I don't know what else to try.
He just bought Snow Leopard. But he's going to wait to install it for a month or so - when I'm home to help him with it all. Either way, a complete OS upgrade is supreme overkill when we're just trying to get a plug-in to work. I'd love to find a way to get this all working properly, in the meantime.
    Thanks for any ideas!

He could try another user account on the slim chance that will help.
We might try this because it's relatively quick & easy.
Otherwise, the only other idea I have is to do an Archive & Install of the OS and then reinstall updates.
I don't think we'll go this route. He has Snow Leopard, ready & waiting. If we're going to (re)install an OS then I'd just as soon "come clean" to the new world, as opposed to spending all the time to stay where we are—considering that we could go that far and still, potentially, end up right where we are now: dead in the water.
Thanks for your time and input here!

  • Is every Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update necessary?

Knowledge base doc (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3825) says  “Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard provides system-level support for digital camera RAW formats.” so I assume a system update includes Digital Camera RAW Combatibility updates.
Before I updated from 10.6.6 to 10.6.8, SU showed I needed Dig Cam RAW Com update 3.7 which I didn’t do.  After the update to 10.6.8, I needed 3.12 so v3.7 through 3.11 must have been included in the OS X update.  Before I got around to doing 3.12, I found SU showed 3.13; I assume each update includes the past ones as well.
My cameras, Samsung Pro 815s, predate the updates.
I continue to do the updates thnking there might be some unmentioned secuirity issues included in the update that are not mentioned, but -- really -- is it necessary to keep doing these particular updates?
Do folks continue to do these ad infinitum as new cameras are added?
Should I eventually purchase different cameras, could I then find the relevant update and just install it?

In my first post I mentioned:
Before I got around to doing 3.12, I found SU showed 3.13; I assume each update includes the past ones as well.
You, TD, kindly added this information - thank you:
Further, Camera Raw updates get rolled into the next OS update anyway, so the next time you update your OS you catch up anyway.
However, I’m running 10.6.8 and probably staying there - so no more OS updates for me.
I do updates manually checking SU first.
As I said above, when I didn’t do 3.12 update (but I did download the installer), it was later replaced in SU by 3.13.
It really is not a big deal, but just a matter of curiosity - do you know if the update for 3.12 was included in 3.13?  (The list of supported cameras for 3.13 does not include the one for 3.12.)
As I said, it matters not, just curious how smart SU really is (because I have another really big issue with SU and am just waiting to ask that question later...)
    Thanks again,
    Mrs H

  • Can't install Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.2

Software Update wants to install Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.2, but it always fails, saying: "The update “Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update” can’t be saved. You do not have appropriate access privileges. The Installer package has been moved to the Trash. To try again, open the package from the Finder."
I've tried doing Repair Permissions in Disk Utility, but this has not helped. I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.5, all other recent updates have gone in fine.

I had the same problem. Deleting the contents of the HD/library/Updates worked.
Never the less I noticed that the permission set was different:
Original permission set: admin R&W, admin R only, everyone R only.
I also followed the Alias and found two files with the same permissions.
Re-downloading (via software update) revealed a new permission set:
(Me) R&W, Admin R&W, everyone Read only
In both the alias and the two files downloaded. Note that (Me) denotes your user with administrator access.
I believe that, since the update was downloaded automatically, the permissions were mismatched and instead of adding a system R&W privileges it added a second Admin Read only permission.
Adding an administrator user with read and write permissions should solve the problem (as long as you authenticate as that particular administrator when prompted for intall authorization).

  • HT201070 Software update - Digital Camera RAW compatability update 4.04

I have an Imac and about 6 months ago the "Updates" tab in "Applications" reflected the following update "Digital Camera RAW compatability update 4.04" When I tried to update this in applications it has for 6 months given me a time out error. I cannot remove it from the updates tab in applications and it is blocking other updates, how can I resolve this?

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/install.log" from the file list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

The forum translator is struggling with your post, but I'll try and guess at what your question is.
The Olympus E-M1 needs Camera RAW 8.2 or later.
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
To support that natively, you would need Photoshop CS6 or CC.  If you have an earlier version of Photoshop, you will need the free DNG converter.
I don't know of any reason your version of OSX would make a difference, but I have limited knowledge with Mac systems.
If I have misinterpreted your post, please ask again in as full a manor as you can.  The more information you give, the better will be the chance that the forum translator can interpret your question more accurately.

  • RAW Camera Update 3.1 crashed and destroyed disk

I installed RAW Camera Update 3.1 on my MacBook Pro. (I had previously installed it successfully on another computer.) After going through the usual installation screens, an alert reported that the installation had failed and I should try installing again. I decided to restart the computer first so that I would have a clean boot to work with. On restart, a progress indicator appeared while the Apple icon was showing in the center of the screen; then the progress indicator restarted; then the computer shut down. This now happens every time I try to boot from the internal startup disk.
So I restarted from a 10.6.2 external startup disk. An alert reported that the internal startup disk was invalid, that I can still copy files from it but cannot save files to it, and that I should reformat the disk and reinstall everything. Typically, for me, this is a task that takes about a week, and I would like to avoid having to do it.
Is there any other solution? What happened?

Disk Utility and TechTool Pro could not fix the startup disk, but Disk Warrior saved the day!

    Hello
I just ran this update, but the computer froze before it could complete installation. After I restarted, I suddenly got a "Raw not supported" red-screen message for pictures taken with my Canon Eos 50D (which worked fine before the Raw support update installation...)
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
    TIA for any help!

    Hallo,

    @Herr Göltzer,

The coolpix P7700 was released about 08/2012
Photoshop CS6 was already out at that time so there seems to be no reason to assume ACR6/Photoshop CS5 would have been updated for that camera.

  • To Upgrade from 10.6.8 to Mavericks, do I need to add an update called "Mac Installer" 1.0?

I hope to update to Mavericks from Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Somehow--I don't remember how--I received this update called Mac Installer version 1.0  2.9 mb. I have been suspicious, so it is in my trash. This was received about 3 months ago. The only thing similar I can find is an Apple Software Installer dated in March 2012, but it is only 1.3mb. Is anyone aware of this kind of update for Snow leopard in order to go to Mavericks?
