Raw Panel in CS6

I have Raw images that have previously been altered in Photoshop CS5.
I want to open these Raw images CS6 with the new sliders.

When you open the camera raw file into cs6, change the Process version to 2012.
Either by going to the Camera Calibration tab and using the drop-down menu beside Process
or clicking on the exclamation point near the bottom right of the image preview.

I can not open raw files in cs6 extended ,my camera is Nikon D 800E.
Hope some one can help me.

The D800E is definitely supported in Camera Raw 7.1 which is compatible with CS6.
Which version of Camera Raw are you running?
Win: Help > About Plug-In > Camera Raw
Mac: Photoshop > About Plug-In > Camera Raw
If you're already on 7.1, what exactly happens when you try to open Raw files from that camera?

  • How do i open my RAW files in CS6?

I recently bought the Nikon D800 and cannot open/import my RAW files into cs6. So i did some research and found that you have to convert them into DNG's that are compatible. I downloaded the Adobe DNG converter and that program is also telling me that there are no found camera files that are supported...
    Can anyone help?!?!

DNG Converter 7.1 RC (beta) can convert D800 files. It's available at Labs.Adobe.com which also has ACR 7.1 RC that will process D800 files in Photoshop CS6.

  • In Camera raw setting of CS6, using the adjustment brush, the new, add or erase buttons do not work. Please advise.

In Camera raw setting of CS6, using the adjustment brush, the new, add or erase buttons do not work. Please advise.

What operating system are you using?
Which version of camera raw do you have in photoshop cs6?
After you select the Adjustment Brush, the New button should already be enabled.
Then after you draw on an area of the image, the Add button should be enabled, with the option to choose either of the other two buttons; New or Erase
    Could you post a screenshot?
Maybe all the adjustment values are set to zero?
(at least one needs to have a value other than zero)

  • Nikon Df RAW update for CS6

Is there an update for a Nikon Df RAW in Photoshop CS6?

    Check this link
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
The Nikon Df requires Camera Raw 8.3 or later.
CS6 is compatible with Camera Raw 8.3
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/camera-raw-compatible-applications.html
So, in CS6, click Help > Updates to update Camera Raw.
Ensure that it is correctly installed by clicking Help (Win) or Photoshop (Mac) > About Plug-In > Camera Raw

  • Nikon D610 raw files in CS6.

HOw can I open Nikon D610 raw files in cs6?

Adobe Photoshop CS6 is still a current product and was sold and runs in parallel with CC?  CC is a different subscription platform and business model designed to provide regular income (to ADOBE) and regular updates (to customers?).  As far as I am concerned this answer is unacceptable?  Is this the OFFICIAL ADOBE position?
Similarly I understood that Camera Raw 8.3 was compatible with Photoshop CS6 but some (new) options would not operate?
As it is my PSCS6 opens NIKON D610 raw files but shows a "zoomed in" version losing the edges?
Anyone official from ADOBE not afraid to confirm/deny/clarify the situation?

  • Unable to open RAW files in CS6 after update

    Hi all,
I have Photoshop CS6 and have been able to open my D4 Raw files with no issues using the Camera Raw version 7.1 plugin.
Yesterday I upgraded my Mac OS from Snow Leopard to Yosemite (a big jump I agree) and proceeded to update Photoshop to the latest version as well as installing Adobe DNG Converter 8.8.
I am apparently still using the same 7.1 plugin version as I always have but I am now no longer able to open any RAW files through Photoshop as it displays a message saying 'files not recognised' when I try to open them.
Have I skipped too many updates? Do the latest Photoshop CS6 updates leave me unable to open RAW files? Am I being pushed down the CC route?
Could anybody offer any help at all as I have a wedding to edit but cannot open any files!!! Stress!!!
I backed up my system through Time Machine before I did the update but im not sure if I restore that I will still have Yosemite OS running.
Any help or advice really is appreciated.
    Many thanks.
    Phil

Camera RAW should be at version 8.8 for CS6

  • Howto update Camera Raw in Photoshop CS6 on Windows Vista

    Hi there,
i am trying to update the Camera Raw Plugin in Photoshop CS6 to the latest supported version 8.3 but i can not make it work...
    What i want?
I want to view the RW2 Raw files from my Lumix GX7 in Photoshop CS6 and Bridge.
Lumix GX7 needs minimum Camera Raw 8.2 as of this site Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
Camera Raw 8.3 is supported for CS6 as of this site Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications
I found this link Keeping Photoshop Up-To-Date but there is only the latest version 8.6 available which does not support Windows Vista.
On this site Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.4 there is only the DNG Converter available.
Help Information in Photoshop shows Camera Raw 7.0 installed and now updated available (up to date).
The only other file i found was Camera Raw 8.5 here Camera Raw updates cannot be applied but does not help me either...
Has someone solved this problem before and could tell me how? Am i missing some hidden option to make the update work?
    Greetings from Germany

    You've tried Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6?
    Or this 8.3 updater
    http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/win/PhotoshopCameraRaw7-7.0/8.3.52/setup.zip
If that doesn't work, you can install camera raw 8.3 by following the directions on the following page
Adobe Camera Raw Help | Camera Raw/DNG Converter 8.4 on Mac OS 10.6, Windows XP, and Vista

  • Camera RAW handling in CS6

Whereas I can open RAW files for my 5d Mark III in Photoshop CS5, I can't do it in CS6. I get a "If you're attempting to open a RAW file from your digital camera... make sure you have the latest camera RAW update..." I click on "Update" and I'm told I have the latest... Any idea? Thanks.  Marcel

    Hi Marcel,
The Photoshop CS6 beta software has the same camera support as found in Ps CS5/5.5 compatible CR 6.6.
There will be future updates to CR 7 for Ps CS6 to pick up more camera support.
If you like to work with your 5D mkIII raw files in the public beta build now, you'll have to get the DNG Converter 6.7 from here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/cameraraw6-7/
and convert your files to DNG.
    regards,
    steve

  • What happened to Camera Raw in Bridge CS6

What is going on with Adobe? What happened to the Camera Raw features in Bridge CS6? It was working perfectly fine in previous versions.
Working on a MAC, first sign, when I go in the AdobeBridge CS 6 drop down menu, select Camera Raw Preferences... nothing happens. Then, selecting any JPEG, right-click, no option to open in Camera Raw like before.
Should I install something to have this activate? Am I missing a piece? We just bought 10 version of hte Creative suite and we rely on Bridge a lot to work our photos, specially Camera Raw...
    Any clue, someone?

This from another post.  Hope this works.
    CAMERA RAW (ACR):
    To get to ACR:
File>open (Mac) or  open as (windows) and  pick file. Change format at bottom to Camera Raw from selection list
File>browse in Bridge,  right click or hold ctrl and click on tiff or jpg and select open in camera raw
There are also preferences you can choose under "file compatibility" to prefer ACR for supported RAW files
