Raw updates in Cs6

I am unable to update to the latest raw version in photoshop usung the the help tab. I keep getting a message saying " Unable to connec to to the server ". I have checked that my firewall is not blocking Adobe. I am using a trial version of CS6. Can anyone help?

the images I wanted to process were initially located on an external hard drive that had 10GB left. I then moved the file onto my laptop, which has about 160GB free space, but that didn't solve the problem. I have tried the same task with just 2 images, and get the same response. I am not sure what you mean by 'complete path', but the folder is just a normal folder with camera RAW FILES (CR2). However, I have tried to convert a TIFF to JPEG too via image processor and that hasn't worked either?

What i want?
I want to view the RW2 Raw files from my Lumix GX7 in Photoshop CS6 and Bridge.
Lumix GX7 needs minimum Camera Raw 8.2 as of this site Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
Camera Raw 8.3 is supported for CS6 as of this site Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications
I found this link Keeping Photoshop Up-To-Date but there is only the latest version 8.6 available which does not support Windows Vista.
On this site Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.4 there is only the DNG Converter available.
Help Information in Photoshop shows Camera Raw 7.0 installed and now updated available (up to date).
The only other file i found was Camera Raw 8.5 here Camera Raw updates cannot be applied but does not help me either...
Has someone solved this problem before and could tell me how? Am i missing some hidden option to make the update work?

Problem with downloading updates for CS6 and Camera Raw 7.4

I am unable to update my CS6 to get the latest updates and latest Camera Raw for Canon 6D. I get an error message that says close Adobe Bridge. Photoshop is closed and as far as I can tell Adobe Bridge is closed. What do I do now?

In Windows, open the Task Manager and, in the Processes tab, close bridge.exe.

Updated ps cs6 camera raw to 8.4 on mac os 10.5.8 now cannot revert to 8.2 to view and open cr2 files. I would rather not uninstall any programs, would rather remove manually and install 8.2. I Have several adobe programs and no clue where serial numbers are to even think about uninstalling all to reinstall, just to fix a plug in. Please help

It's a bit of a work around, but you can uninstall PS CS6 [and perform a clean install / don't update the software afterwards for camera raw] and manually install the CR 8.2 update:

It has been indicated that both of those cameras will be supported in the final release of Camera Raw 8.7. But there is no announced release date. There never is. I assume it will be before December 31. But that is only my guess based on the fact that the release candidate expires then.

I have recently upgraded my Lightroom 5.6 to 5.7 and my Photoshop CS6 extended 64 bit to Raw Update 8.7. Since this update my Image Edit process going from Lightroom to Photoshop is no longer seamless. Right clicking on the image and selecting "edit in Adobe Photoshop CS6" eventually returns an error message "The file could not be Edited because Adobe Photoshop could not be Launched" after about 2 minutes. At this point the image opens in Photoshop

Raw updates needed for CS5 and Elements 11?

I have several adobe products. I want to install the latest raw updates for CS5 Photoshop and Elements 11. The app. manager tells me I have the latest updates. My CS6 product updated the newest raw product but not my others. I would like to get phone support for these issues - is there a phone number that connects to real people? The %^*()^ support section on the web takes me around in circles - very frustrating. Any help out there?

the good old argument is at what point do you stop supporting stuff? Elements is now up to 13.
I assume Adobe would argue you have cc already why are you still using cs5?
As I read it, the new 8.7 raw is only good for cs6 and above. They won't make 2 versions of raw, so I assume you are still on 7.4 for cs5?
On that basis, alas stick with your cs6 to do the newer stuff you need.

I've been having major issues with CS6 as well as CC - started with both versions of photoshop locking up, then totally refusing to open. Uninstalled both versions, just reinstalled CS6 but it is not opening unless I hit the shift key while initiating, then it refused to open a raw file so I went in to update to accomodate my camera and got these error messages. I have been without a working photoshop program for what seems like a very long time and this is beyond acceptable. Tech support was not helpful.

I've subscribed to the Reuter's Technology News on my Bionic so I can stay in the know on the latest and greatest rumors in the wireless world. Not only is it my job but I enjoy reading the speculation on the latest and upcoming devices. Needless to say I've had an experience that's similar to yours.
When I received a subscription error, I had to do a factory data reset on my new Droid Bionic in order to successfully subscribe to the News Feeds. Although I do recommend that you try this, let's save this step as a last resort. Please try to remove the battery while the device is powered on & re-insert then power the device on. Afterwards, verify that you have a good 3G/4G signal, anything more than 2 bars. If you are still experiencing access issues then the factory data reset would be the next step. Of course you will have to reactivate your device after the factory reset. Prior to completing the reset I recommend verifying that your contacts are backed up on either backup assistant or on your Gmail account. Also, your pictures, videos, and music will be saved on the memory card so this info is not in danger. Can't download updates to CS6 on Mac OS X - error code U43M1U41

I've had this problem for months, its gotten to the point where I can't ignore it anymore. I've seen a few others report this problem but no indication of a resolution.
This is on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.8.5
Trying to update CS6 and getting Adobe Application Manager popup: "Update Failed: updates could not be applies. The error log file may help you in identifying the problem. Then, try updating again. If the problems persist, contact customer support for further assistance".
