Raytracing 3d not visible in final rendering via AME

I used the 3D rendering function to create an extrusion of a vactor form. This all works fine except when I send this over to the Adobe Media Encoder its just ignoring the Raytracing and only rendering the outlines. Does anybody know how to fix this?

The Adobe Media Encoder will not use your GPU for rendering Ray-traced comps so rendering will take place only with the CPU, and this will be slow. It looks like your system does not have a compatible NVIDIA card so you will be using the CPU for all Ray-traced rendering anyway because you have no CUDA acceleration and should nave no CUDA drivers installed. If you did have a system with CUDA support then you would want to render a DI using a production codec with AE's Render Cue, then put that file in the AME to render your compressed file for delivery.
That said, let's get to your problem. Try this after checking to make sure that you are checking your project using the Active Camera and noting the time in the comp your extruded layer is showing. Add your project to the Render Cue. In the Render Settings set the render time to about 30 frames that correspond to the comp time where you want to text rendering the extruded layer. In the output module choose Lossless, then export a test render.
If the test renders properly then try using the AME to render the same bit of the composition as a test. If that does not work let us know and file a bug report. If your test from the Render Cue works and the AME doesn't then render a DI from the Render Cue of the entire comp and use the AME to compress it for delivery.

Hi SR,
S_ALR_87012048 is an Asset transaction report which is updated only when transaction like (acquisition, retirement, etc) is performed. Values of this report are fetched from ANEP table.
For Asset history sheet, you can check S_ALR_87011964.

Adjustments made via a plug-in not visible in viewer

This just started happening, and I'm not sure the cause, if you have any ideas I would appreciate hearing them.
If I make an adjustment with a plug-in (for example Nik CEP), after making the adjustments in the plug-in and saving the changes, i'm returned to the viewer but the adjustments aren't renedered into the viewer image.
If I change the view from the Viewer to the Browser or even the Split Viewer, I can see the changes made via the plug-in.
Oddly enough, if I choose to Crop the image (by pressing the C button), the crop tool and small context window come up, and the image immediately changes so I can see the changes made by the plug-in.
If I simply close the Crop tool without cropping (by x-ing out the small context window), the image reverts and the changes made in the plug-in are again not visible.
I've tried repairing the permissions and the database.
I didn't think this would help because I have a few different libraries, and this same behaviour occurs within each.
I've created a new library and was able to reproduce this (mis)behaviour.
Just to be thorough I also removed the preferences and presets.
I also reinstalled, but this didn't help either.
I'm on Lion, but have the CD; Apple's posted instructions didn't quite cover this scenario.
The only thing that seemed out of the ordinary with the reinstall was that when I issued the following command (from Terminal):
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.Aperture
I received a message back that said something like com.apple not found in /
Any ideas what causing this problem and how it can be corrected?

Probably it is the same same bug that is causing edits in an external editor not to show, see this support article:

As a work-around, to make the edits show, select any adjustment, and turn it on and off again.

IPad 3 Not Visible via Wifi

I recently installed iTunes 10.7 on my Win 7 64 bit PC. I have an iPhone 5 and iPad 3 both running iOS 6. My iPhone is visible in iTunes via wifi, but my iPad is not visible. I did not have this issue with iTunes 10.6.3. Both iPhone and iPad are visible when I connect via cable. Any suggestions.

Submitted build via Xcode is not visible in iTunes for review.

I have submitted a new build with number 199 via Xcode to iTunes for review but that is not visible even I got an email from Apple team to manage the builds. I have already submitted two builds 197 & 198 earlier which were rejected by Apple.

You have used Xcode 6.1 and it is a valid version, so you should not have any problem. Anyway, if there is any problem, Apple will contact with you to fix it before your app is published.

Tab Purchase Order Data not visible via CIC

I have a problem with displaying the tab Purchase Order Data via the Customer Interaction Centre. If I create an order via CRMD_ORDER then this tab is visible, only not via the CIC.
In tcode CRMV_SSC we use the folling for other tabs like Partner, Sales, etc.:
Screenprofiletype TSAL
Screen Profile: ZRAP
Tabstrip Panel: HDTSAL
Programm: SAP_LCRM_TSALES_UI
With the combination above the tab Purchase Order Data (function code SALES_PURC) is not visible in the dropdownlist with available functioncodes. The system indicates that this functioncode is not available in programm SAP_LCRM_TSALES_UI.
Questions i have are:
Is SALES_PURC the correct functioncode for the tab Purchase Order Data?
How can i make this tab visible via the CIC?

Hi Michael,
SAP is designed to send a XML file from a purchase order or any other document type (delivery, sales order, transportation, etc) with very little effort. This means, that SAP delivers already a solution for that which the customer needs to set up.
To create a PDF file actually requires quite a lot of custom development, specially to comply to the layout the customer requires. This is usually a task that goes from the testing team to the development team back and forth a few times before it is accepted.

ITunes content not visible when connected to internet via wireless

I have been having problems with my Apple TV. It did not show any iTunes Store content. After some considerable attempts at reconfiguration, I finally restored to factory settings and I still could not connect to the internet via my airport extreme wireless network. I therefore ran an ethernet cable instead and all the itunes store content appeared and I was able to sync with my Macbook Pro. I then looked at the network configeration using the ethernet recorded the settings and took the cable out. Then reconnected using the wireless connection, initally it could not connect to the internet but then I went through the manual connection and set the settings using DCHP and it then connected but once again there is no iTunes store content, if I reconnect the iTune store content comes back as does the uTube and internet radio both of which also disappear if I try and go wireless. Any thoughts?

Time Capsule not visible when connecting via range extender

Hi,
I have configured a TP-Link WA750RE to expand the range of my Time Capsule's wireless network. The range extender works fine for surfing the web etc., but the Time Capsule doesn't show up as my Time Machine backup device and the Time Capsule is not visible in my Airport Utility. What's even stranger is that when I click on "Configure other" (shift + command + o) in Airport Utility and type in my Time Capsule's IP-address and password, I can still access the devices' configuration menu.
When I move my Macbook very close to my Time Machine to connect directly to the wireless network, leaving out the range extender, none of the above mentioned problems occur. The TP-Link range extender has no NAT or port configuration that could possibly cause this problem, so I'm out of ideas for a way to solve this problem.

A non-apple range extender is not passing the protocols that apple uses.. eg bonjour.. This is a standard problem and why you stick with using Apple's own routers for extensions.

CPU Multiplier is Not Visible

Brand New build: i5 4670k + z97 Gaming 5. BIOS and all drivers/utilities have been updated via Live Update 6 as of this morning.
My problem is that when I access the BIOS "Overclocking Settings", the actual CPU multiplier itself is not visible (even in Advanced mode). Turboboost is enabled. So I'm not actually able to adjust my CPU multiplier beyond the stock value (34x). But when I toggle the Overclock Genie, the CPU multiplier finally appears with a fixed multiplier of 40x (which I am not able to manually alter).
Any idea what I'm missing here?

Well, it is not possible that it doesn't work. Just scroll to where it says "CPU Ratio AUTO" so AUTO is higlighted and use +/- keys of your numpad to alter settings.

Oracle 10G Commit Not Visible

I have a commit or concurrency issue I hope someone can shed some light on.
I'm building rows in a reporting table via several stored procedures and reporting on the results.
The final stored procedure uses the rows built by the initial stored procedures and occasionally, the rows initially created are not visible to the final stored procedure.
Is there a way to force Oracle to COMMIT the rows and WAIT so there are 100% visible to subsequent stored proccedures?

So what is causing procedure 4 to run before those others have completed? You need to ensure it doesn't run until such a time.

Calendar account events not visible on iOS

I have a user with a server account, that gets his settings for his calendar from a profile.
With the profile installed on any of 3 Macs he sees this for his calendar account
server account (Hide or Show)
name@server
wiki calendar; calendar of a OS X wiki
team A calendar; shared calendar with a group of people
team B calendar; another shared calendar, different group.
The issue is that for a few days, on his iphone, with the same profile installed, he sees all the calendars listed above, except that for "name@server", none of the activities or events are shown.
name@server is checked in the list of calendars within the calendar app.
Not sure what to do. I removed and reinstalled the profile, adding new calendars to that account work fine, but the main account (name@server) calendar information (appointment, events, etc) is not visible on the iPhone.
I can add events on the iPhone to that calendar, they are visible on the Macs.
Any even added to that calendar on the Mac does not show up on the iPhone.
Changing the event to one of the other calendars for that account, makes it visible on the iPhone.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Ok, I finally figured it out or better I finally got it to work after playing with it. For those who have the same issues I will give you the steps I have taken. It might sound a bit senseless but I didn't know what I was doing might actually make it work.
Anyways, I read somewhere that in order to be able to set a default Calendar in Settings they added a CalDAV account. I didn't have one but I do have a gmail account. Before adding that I tried again turning on and off the iCloud calendar which didn't help.
Then I went to the ical app on the iphone and added a new calendar which I called the same as my main one on the iCloud site (HomeCloud). I rebooted the phone every time I made a change. But didn't help either.
Then I deleted my iCloud account on the iphone reboooted and added it again, rebooted. Now the "Calendars" calendar was not on the iphone anymore but I could see my main HomeCloud, my UK Holiday and the gmail account calendar but nothing was synced.
Last step I tethered the iphone to my imac and synced via iTunes again and voila I could see everything synced correctly. Last thing I had to uncheck the gmail calendar on the iphone because it was set as the default and now the events I put in the iphone sync correctly with the iCloud site and my icals on my machines.
I hope this will help whoever has the same issue.

Distributed rendering via wifi

Could I setup distributed rendering via wifi: combining a 3.4 iMac 27inch and a Mac Pro 2.26 8-core?

I use a Tolino Shine and can download E-Books via WLAN directly to it. I can also download the books to my netbook. However, when I plug the Tolino into my netbook it is not visible in the Adobe library and I cannot move books from the library to the Tolino.
I tried to reset the Tolino to the manufacturer settings. This did not improve the situation.
Any suggestions?

2nd gen iPod not visible on Desktop or in iTunes

I have a 40GB 2nd gen iPod that works fine and until recently always appeared on the Desktop and in iTunes whenever connected. Haven't had any problems with the iPod or iTunes. Now it is not visible at all but it does still recharge.
It's connected with FireWire 400 but it doesn't show up in System Profiler or Disk Utility.
I've reset it. I've forced Disk Mode. Nothing works.
Another thing... I have my whole music collection stored on an external LaCie drive and connected to the laptop with FireWire 800. iTunes works fine, though, whenever I connect the iPod to the laptop, iTunes stops playing (the spinning colorwheel appears) and as soon as I disconnect the iPod, I hear the external drive kick in and iTunes resumes playing.

I always connect the iPod into my Powerbook via FireWire 400 and the external LaCie is connected to the laptop via FireWire 800. So, there is no daisy-chain setup.
Actually, I've just realized that my iPod is 3rd generation not 2nd. When I looked at the "Settings" on the iPod it says Version: 2.3 so I thought that meant 2nd generation but just discovered otherwise. Is there any way that I can change the title of the thread?
