RAZR not recognized as "Mobile Phone"

I have been trying to get my PBook to recognize my RAZR as a Mobile phone. First the basics - my PBook (15" Aluminum 1.25 GHz / FW 800) has built-in BT and that is working fine. I can see the device and can xfer files using the BT File Transfer util. I am setting the phone as discoverable, and the little Bluetooth icon flashes on the phone. I'm running Tiger with all updates installed - all that are available via Software Update as of today's date.
If I use the "Any Device" option in the BT setup wizard, my phone shows up in the list and I can successfully pair with it. If instead I choose "Mobile Phone" I can't see the phone. I've tried deleting the Bluetooth preference .plist files, removing the device pairings and then re-running the wizard, but the only thing I can get to work is the "Any Device" option. After being paired, the following shows up in the BT "Device" tab in System Preferences:

I'm having problems getting the PBook to actually 'see' the phone as a modem (have also followed a bunch of other instructions here, including d/l-ing some of the modem scripts for the Moto phones). I can't iSync with BT, either. The RAZR is not seen by iSync.
I'm missing some key parts of the setup that are done via the Mobile Phone setup screen, and I think that is the root of my problem. Any ideas on how to fix this? Why is the RAZR not recognized as a Mobile phone?

I can't get my PowerBook to recognize my V3 at all. I have had complete success with my V600, but today I got a new V3, and I'd like to get my numbers from the V600 to the V3. There are too many to copy them to the SIM card (I hate the way it's all or nothing!), so I'm trying to do it with iSynch. I have managed to synch the V600 with no difficulty, but I can't even pair the V3. Is there some optimum position you need to hold the phone in relation to the PowerBook, some secret incantation or what? I tried selecting Mobile phone and Any device, but neither one works, and I've tried it on two different user accounts, so I don't think it's a preferences issue either.

Mind if they are caught a 5 year prison term awaits them.
Mobiles have and always be an easy target for theives. People have lost their lifes for refusing to hand them over.
I was in a market traders shop a while ago and two young lads came in with a handset to ask for it to be opened up to all networks. They could not even answer the question on what network it was originally on. The shop worker shrugged her shoulders and went ahead and opened it up as requested , all for £5 !! I left shaking my head ?
Follow the advice and contact your network to block the sim and fone, and also inform the police in order to get a crime number in order to start claims on any insurance you may have.

Does iSync not support your mobile phone? try this.

Recently I got a Samsung A777 mobile phone. I wasn't able to learn everything about it before buying, but in absence of the information I couldn't get, it was the best choice for me. When I attempted to sync it with my Mac, iSync told me in so many words "This device is not supported by iSync". Well, there's more than one way to skin a cat.
So I did a little research. First I found this site http://blog.jayfields.com/2006/08/sync-your-samsung-phone-with-your-mac.html which links to this app http://homepage.mac.com/gaz/FileSharing13.html
After some experimenting, I discovered I can export in vCard 3.0 format, skip using the app, export a group of contacts to one file, and send it to the phone. Done. The address book on the phone contains one entry per name, each entry contains all of that person's numbers, and each number bears the correct icon for home, work, mobile, fax. Email addresses copy too.
This method of syncing is so easy I think nothing of deleting the entire address book from the phone, and uploading the whole contacts group again. Since that's what I've been doing, I don't know if uploading the contacts twice back-to-back would create duplicates. And as far as I know, there's no way to sync back from the phone.
But I don't care much about that. I'm fine recording a voice memo reminding me to make certain changes to an address book entry on the Mac and sync the whole thing again. Takes just a moment.
Perhaps in the future Samsung will be more SyncML and OpenSync friendly.

You can make this process a bit shorter by doing this:
1) Drag the *Bluetooth File Exchange* application to your Dock.
2) Set-up a Group in *Address Book* containing the contacts you want on your phone
Then, whenever you want to re-copy the contacts to your phone, just do this:
Open *Address Book* and drag the Contact group onto the *Bluetooth File Exchange* icon in your Dock.
(BTW, for true bi-directional syncing with iSync you might like to contact http://www.novamedia.de as they do iSync Plugins for over 60 existing Samsung phones, and may be able to do one for yours).

b, does it still work if you type in your MobileMe URL rather than the purchased domain name?

Do you have to type in ALL CAPS? That is considered shouting and rude in forums, and difficult to read.
You need to open you Desktop Manager and the Sync application and find where the Address Book syncs to Outlook and look in the advanced settings to MAP the fields of the Outlook second mobile number to the BlackBerry device to another field such as "other" or User Field 1 or 2 or 3...

How do I unblock my email account, I do not own a mobile phone.

I can not unblock my email account, and I do not own a cell
phone to get a verification code to prove its my email , so what
am I suppose to do to get my email account on blocked.

It depends on your mail service provider. You may want to check their help pages or call their support number. If you mention which one it is, someone could provide more information.

WWAN /EVDO - Tethered Razr Not Recognized

I tether my Razr via USB for Verizon EVDO access. All works well in 10.4 but in Leopard the phone is not seen. In Network Settings in 10.4 one would choose WWAN Support for the modem. In Leopard there is no such choice. How does one get this working in Leopard? It's back to 10.4 if I can't get this resolved.
And, no, I don't want to install the Verizon Access software if at all possible.

The WWAN file you mention is a modem script. While it may not be present in your Mac OS X 10.5 configuration, I believe that this script should work without issue under Panther.
If you do not have a copy of the script readily available on another Mac OS X 10.4.x machine, send an electronic mail message to the address in my Public Profile and I will reply with an archived copy of the script which you can then drag to this location:

Purchased app not recognized on new phone

i upgraded my iphone 4 to a 5s today and one of my apps isn't showing up on the new phone after i synced everything.
apparently i hadn't backed up to the cloud after i purchased the app but i thought i did. oops!
i paid 1.99 for it and i'm trying to avoid paying again. any ideas?

Edge animate cc Audio does not play on mobile phones & iPod though it plays perfectly on an mac pro

I have uploaded an edge animate cc published html with sound. The html file opens perfectly on my mac pro safari browser perfectly with audio. But when I open the same file on my iphone5 the file opens but no the audio does not play. What wrong does anybody have an answer?

You are right. But there detail. If Online audio will be downloaded to this user interaction. Depending on your animation will all be out of sync with the audio. For the timeline will run before. I do not know how to do but needed to put a stop to that timeline only run when the audio is downloaded. I had problems in IOS and Android with audio using adobe edge previous version before they even have audio support. Used Edgehero who answered my expectations very well. Only had this same problem but it was solved this way.

Suretap simcard not recognized by my phone

Hello,
I recently replaced my sim card with the suretap simcard. My voice and date work fine but when I try to activate any mobile payment application (suretap, ugo or cibc) they fail to recognize it and wont take me pass the error screen.
I requested a simcard change and still have the same result. I then moved my simcard to my girlfriend's Z10 and I was able to register with no issue (we both have unlocked devices with the same model).
I am starting to think it is a defect in my device. Is there a way to find out what exactly is the problem and what can I do to resolve it?
Any help with that is appreciated.

For clarity, are you trying to activate through your BBID?
or is this 'ugo' app the downloaded app from App World for TD Bank?
