RAZR2 V9m Sync? Verizon Wireless phone

My current Razr drowned, so I am thinking of getting the new Razr2 from Verizon. It is not listed on the website as a device that will sync, wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to get this done. Thanks for your help!

If it doesn't sync now, or used to & doesn't anymore (ie: upgrade to 10.5) then you along with countless others are S.O.L. . Apple appears to only want to cater to iPhone never mind all the Jack we spend on Laptops ,Cinema displays, Ipods etc.. It's just the way it is .
DO NOT expect anyone at Verizon or Alltel or any other network to be sympathetic or even know what iSync even is.

Blue screen of death when syncing verizon I phone

I receive a blue screen of death when I try to sync my I phone 4 with I tunes on my laptop. The initial sync went fine, I am connected to my Exchange server for email and have downloaded CD's to I Tunes, when I try to sync...blue screen. I have run registry fix and virus programs and have no errors. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The first response was correct, the computer (xps 1210) used a logitech camera driver that I did not recognize so I deleted it. The software was still active and crashed the computer. Fix was reinstall logitech software and driver. Updating the driver would have probably worked. Thank you!

Can't call my verizon cell phones from my landline FIOS phone???

What can this be??? We can call Canada -- California and scads of other places. But our own Verizon WIreless phones??? NADA!!!

Comcast & Verizon Wireless Promotion

I was offered a promo for $200 prepaid card if I upgraded my Verizon wireless phone through the special Xfinity/VZW promo page. I did so back in May. I have yet to see this $200 prepaid card. I have tried contacting Comcast and they said that VZW was fufilling the cards. I have tried using the rebate status webpage, but it is unable to locate it from there. I have also tried calling the phone number 866-347-2229, but I was onl hold for over 30 minutes the one time and now I'm trying again, but it's not looking promising. 10 minutes have already lapsed and I'm about to go nuts because of this music. Will someone please HELP!!!!! I know I'm not the only one waiting on this $200 card. I'm ready to dump VZW and I've been a cutomer for 20 years!!!! WITH THE SAME NUMBER THE WHOLE TIME!!!! I dont want to become one of those people who goes on a crazy socail media rant, but I'm about to. Maybe this would be a good topic for my next article in the NY Times.

Someone has to do something about the 3rd party company that is representing Verizon and Comcast. Their customer service was great until you tried to get something escalated or to talk to a supervisor. And, I guess they also gave conflicting information in terms of when the cards would be mailed. I was given the promotion at my Comcast offer for $200 per upgrade that was running when the Iphone came out. I ordered 2 phones and have been playing games with them ever since. I have never been so frustrated and spent so much energy on anything in my LIFE! Comcast has someone working with me because I have written letters and sent emails and Verizon has been amazing and I am supposed to call them in a week and they will advocate for me in pushing through the cards. The 3rd party stated that I agreed to $50 a phone and that's all I am getting. She (escalation clerk) said that they never ran a promotion for anything over $50 etc etc. There is NO accountability with these people. You know there is a problem if people are going to the Better Business Bureau and threatening to take them to small claims court all over the internet. They are representing Verizon and Comcast and acting on their behalf and its wrong. Point Blank PERIOD. I spend too much money with both of these companies to have to go through this to get a little bit of a kick back here and there. I'm so upset..... its just wrong and they need to fix it.

Automatic Calls from Verizon Wireless?

Recently, I had a situation where I would receive a call from my daughter's Verizon Wireless phone. I could hear people talking in the background (she was on vacation), but nobody responded to my voice. Assuming that it was an accidental redial, I hung up. Within 5-10 seconds I received another call from her phone. Same problem. After receiving 43-45 calls from her phone I sent her an email. She responded that her phone showed no outgoing calls.
Although the problem has resolved itself, I am curious as to what might have caused the issue. Any ideas?

VersaMail vs. Verizon Wireless Sync

When I first started using my Treo 755, I used Verizon wireless sync for e-mail. Then it seemed to always be crashing my phone so I switched to VersaMail version 3.5.5. This doesn't crash my phone but seems less functional than the Verizon product. Any thoughts on which is better? I recently upgraded the phone OS to version 1.08, will that make Verizon wireless sync more stable?

The features of each program will need to be evaluated by yourself and then make your own determination. There are pro's and con's to each program, it is a matter of personal preference.
The update does not state that it will improve wireless sync. You can ask Verizon regarding that question.
The update states the following;
This software update is a tune-up that improves the phone application, stability and device usability.

Using foreign CDMA phones on Verizon Wireless

Hi, I went to South Korea for an internship and was given a LG U+ Samsung Galaxy S2 from a relative. It is CDMA, and after looking at the specifications it seems like it should work on Verizon Wireless network. However I was told that non VZW branded phones will not work unless the ESN number is manually added so I'm looking for some clarification. I'm not sure if I posted this in the right section, but hopefully I can get my question answered. It would also be helpful if a VZW rep could chime in!

Hi lagmachine and congrats on the internship! In reagards to using your device in South Korea, we would need to check the ESN to make sure the phone is compatible with our network. Additionally, you would need to activate service. Since we're not the carrier in South Korea, you would pay international roaming charges.

Home Phone Service via Verizon Wireless needs some SERIOUS rethinking!

Has anyone else signed up for home phone service over Verizon Wireless?
Here in LA, they offered a $19.99/month deal using the wireless service - a box provides the service, and you plug your home phone in. The service is adequate, but somebody forgot to think about how home phones work. I tried to get my billing set up through my bank, and after getting no notice for three weeks, I got a message in my email box that my bill was delinquent, and I owed a late fee. I had tried to set up the billing via My Verizon, but could never get a password to work. I finally got a phone number to call, and they sent me a new password via text message - to a home phone with no text capabilities. After hearing and seeing nothing for another two weeks, I called again, and they told me they'd sent the message. I had to remind them that this was a home phone - no texts. So they offered to send me a letter with a new password, within 7-10 ten days. It arrived two weeks later, and didn't work. Each of these phone calls took about an hour, and I still didn't have a connection.
I put the bills (now up to two delinquent cycles) on my credit card, just to bring thins current, and got one more password. This time I called BEFORE trying it, and with the assistance of a more determined tech, got an ID and password combination to work. I can now see my bill. I still don't know if the autopay will work, and I have no idea if there's any way to get a notice that the bill wasn't paid.
I cancelled my AT&T service because of its cost, but at least its billing worked. Verizon has some serious rethinking to do about how it's billing system works for home users. And they didn't lock me into billing hell for two years.
The topper is, today, I got a notice from Verizon that I've been delinquent in returning a refurbished instrument I never received, billed to a phone number I don't have. And of course there's no phone number to call to straighten it out.

Which particular .msi file is the message going on to say cannot be found? (Several different .msi files might be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)

Re Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect garbled voice problems

I hooked up a Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect device and plugged my Panasonic KX-TG5665 5.8 GHz Digital Gigarance phone base into the home phone connect device in the center of my home. We have several Panasonic extension phones in different rooms in the house. This changed the quality of my phone service to terrible , to the point where we don't even want to answer the phone. Incoming callers are complaining that we are "garbled" and difficult to hear and understand. It also sounds like the callers are garbled as well. We can no longer use the "speaker" on the phones because the voices are so garbled. I plugged in a wired phone to the Verizon device (which meant answering the phone at the Verizon device, which is not convenient) and the incoming callers say that our voices are "less garbled". I need to know how to fix this problem. I hesitate to go out and buy new phones until I know if this is a Verizon device problem. What phone systems work well with this device? We have a large 2-story home and live in an area with a lot of oak trees, and need to have reliable phone service (not just in one room with a corded phone).

I had to check and see if this was a recording of one of many calls I made to Verizon about my problems. I have had it almost 2 yrs now and HATE IT!! No one can fix it talking on it is as tyvm518 and pete92833 have said, it is so "garbled" The worse thing is that when places put you on hold and play music ! OMG I feel like I will bawl it is so horrible! No one understands that at all! I have changed phones, bought phones and even borrowed phones from family to check it out. Little or no change at all. The last tech that I spoke with even went so far as to say that "I should never been connected with this set up because when she checked it out I had little to no signals in my area. But nothing was done about it. I was told a couple of times that they would send someone out to check it for me. I have MS, am disabled and elderly. My husband is ill and 74. I rely on my phone and my PC a lot. I wanted to get out of my contract after she told me that it was basically they who were in the wrong to set me up. After all I only had a few mo to go. But she said that I would have to pay a "FINE TO CANCEL EARLY"!! I did tell her that I hate it and and will not be resigning another contract! Maybe that is why they do not call back? I NEVER lose my temper, use bad language or nor disrespectful. I use my daughters AT&T cell phone most of the time now.

Business received Past Due notice phone call, we dont have Verizon Wireless

I am an IT administrator for a small company.
Our office received an automated phone call from Verizon Wireless about a past due balance of a couple hundred dollars.
I found it odd since no one in the company (we're a small business of 7 people) has verizon wireless and if they did I would have been the one to set up accounts. We have had the same address and phone number for a couple years now so it couldnt have been a mistake. I waited to speak with a representative.,
I gave them my name, company I represented, and explained the situation from them. I told them I received a call about a past due notice. They asked for our contact number, I gave them company's phone number. They found the account through that number and the company name was listed on the account however at this point was where the conversation died. The representative immediately would not answer any further questions because I was apparently not the account holder. They told me if I wanted to do anything I would have to get the account holder on the phone.
Now I understand why they couldn't help me due to privacy concerns.
However I am wondering what a small business can do because I am worried about someone fraudulently opening an account under the company's name and running a past due notice.

Have them mail the past due notice to your business address.
However if one of your employees/Officers have a personal account opened under your business with your FID number you may have to send a letter of dispute for those charges.
Have them send a complete written bill to your attention. That hopefully will clear it up.

Can't sync bluetooth mobile phone with wireless keyboard or mouse

Hi,
I can't sync my mobile phone (K750) when I am working with my wireless keyboard and my wireless mighty mouse.
When I start the sync progress I loose contact to my mouse & keyboard....the sync progress starts with the mobile phone, but after transferring some data it also looses contact to the phone, so the sync interrupts. After some seconds I get back in contact to my mouse & keyboard.
When I turn off my wireless mouse & keyboard and I am using a wired keyboard & mouse instead everything is working fine!
Any ideas????

this happens alot, use a usb2 flash drive (not usb3) and as a precaution for other issues, also disconnect any other usb devices except your kb and mouse
