RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyDatabase (on installing EBS R12)

Hi,
I need help. When I was re-installing R12 using Windows XP Pro on my personal desktop, I got the following errors:
RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyDatabase
"Cannot execute configure of database using RapidClone"
RW-50010: Error: - script has returned an error: 1
RW-50004: Error code received when running external process.
Running Database Install Driver for VIS instance

RW-50004: Error code received when running external process.This is a generic error, so please check the installation log file for details.
Also I was able to install R12 before to the same desktop, now I am having problems
re-installing it. I have also cleaned all the traces of the previous install before this re-install.Did you follow the steps in (Note: 567507.1 -How to Remove an Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.x Windows Environment) to clean your previous installation?

    This is a generic error so you would need to check the installation log files for details about the error.
    Please see if (Rapidwiz 12.1.1 Fails To Execute Ouicli.Pl During Apps 10.1.3 Techstack Autoconfig (Doc ID 1328464.1)) is applicable.

    During the clone of R12.1 instance, while running the post clone on the DB tier, i am getting the following error

    Hi,
    Sorry, my mistake, I did not pay attention to the cloning part.
    For this error, looks like the database was not cleanly shutdown before copying the files or that preclone was not run successfully. You will have to run preclone again, and shutdown the database normally, then copy the file again.

    I am cloning and EBS 12.1.3 from one server to another, and when Configuring the target system database server with ''perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier'', I am getting the following error:
    RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyDatabase:
    Control file creation failed
    MOS is saying that it is due to wrong permissions on the /var/tmp/.oracle directory and we should give it the following permissions:
    chmod 777 /var/tmp/.oracle
    After giving those permissions and rebooting the server , and running the perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier script, I am still having the same problem:
    RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyDatabase:
    Control file creation failed

    After successfully configured the DbTier and AppsTier with their respective post clone scripts the appstier was automatically started at the end.

    On 19th august,2009, i ran the preclone on db & apps tier, copied files from source to destination (from one mount point to the other in the same AIX server) for cloning. For some reasons, we changed the system date to 1st april, 2009. When i tried to run adcfgclone.pl on db tier, getting the following error
    50% completed RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyDatabase:
    Control file creation failed
    ERROR while running Apply...

    (replaced the original path with /xxx).
    Is it related with server date? Any help, how can resolve this issue?

    I have mentioned that there could be serious implication of changing the SYSTEM DATE. Look this was one of them, error while cloning.
    ORA-01565: error in identifying file
    '/clone/crp2clone/DEV1/DEV1/db/apps_st/data/XXSCC.dbf'
    ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
    IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 2: No such file or directoryThis means that on 1st APRIL you must have not added this datafile XXSCC.dbf to your database. There could be some work-around and you can start your DB but what about the data after 1-APRIL till date you will loose all that.
    You can refer the following ML doc,

    I think you must do the cloning with the current date so that no data is loose. You may try changing the SYSTEM date after that so that we can work on the possibilities.

    Yes, I have 11gR2 database at the moment.
    To make sure... Are you referring to the target database system?
    Now, I am still in the middle of cloning, and when I tried to run sqlplus I get the error saying that <SP2-0750: You may need to set ORACLE_HOME to your Oracle software directory>.
    So yes, failure occurred in the early stage of running adcfgclone.pl script.
    I took some more logs before RC-5004 error message.

    Please see (RC-50004: Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.apps.ad.util.SystemCheck.suCopyDirectory(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;J) [ID 746025.1]).
    For (Patch:6372396 TXK AUTOCONFIG AND TEMPLATES ROLLUP PATCH S (APRIL/MAY 2008)), it is an AutoConfig template patch and it should not tocuh your custom programs.
    Please note that this patch was replaced with (Patch 9535311 - TXK AUTOCONFIG AND TEMPLATES ROLLUP PATCH U).

    but what wil be the remaining steps of clone then..?If you have not done any changes recently on your source nodes (add a tablespace/database, applied patches, add new forms/reports, ..etc), then do the following:
    - Make sure you shutdown the source instance properly before copying the file to the target node.
    - Configure the target system database server (run the following as oracle user):
    $ cd <RDBMS ORACLE_HOME>/appsutil/clone/bin
    $ perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier - Configure the target system application server (run the following as applmgr user):
    $ cd <COMMON_TOP>/clone/bin

  • Encounter error when installing EBS R12.0.4.6 on OEL5.2

    Hi,
    I met a problem when I installed EBS R12.0.4.6 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.2.
    The installation was interrupted in the step 2 of 5. It showed RW-50004 error. Then when I clicked retry button, the installation continued until the post-instll checks. Only the Enviroment File and DBC File passed the check.
    Following is the error logged in the log file:

  • A fatal error occurred while creating an SSL client credential. The internal error state is 10011.

    Need help.  I have my pilot lync 2013 pool up (in coexistence with 2010 production environment) and can log into Lync 2013 environment with a lync 2010 client but am not able to with a lync 2013 client.  It just prompts for password but will not
    take it. I'm sseeing this on my front end server multiple times:

    All my certs are good coming from internal CA.  My signin logs show below but keep in mind, this works just fine if using a 2010 lync client to my lync 2013 servers.  Issue only occurs when trying to connect using a lync 2013 client.

    As Lync client 2013 attempt to query in order to perform autodiscover of the Lync registration server. First
    lyncdiscoverinternal.<sipdomain> Host (A) record and then
    lyncdiscover.<sipdomain> Host (A) record. If neither of these records are resolvable then the legacy DNS SRV and A record fall-back process is used. So make sure you have add the two A record in DNS server.
