Can anyone help to solve this? Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
If you have entered hostname in the RFC connection, the corresponding IP address is picked up from the hosts file.
Either enter the host file entry or give IP address directly in RFC connection.
Cheers....,

    Hi Bruno,
    We were able to resolve the issue. SAP RDS is assisting us with our upgrade and one of their consultants gave us this fix/workaround.
    Edit and add an entry into P:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\data\reginfo.dat on your BW host server.
    Below is the entry I added.
    P TP=<NAME OF PROGRAM ID> HOST=<remote hostname where you creating the RFC to> CANCEL=<remote hostname> ACCESS=*
    P TP=CTSAPNPSCI_PORTAL_FPS HOST=ctsapnpsci CANCEL=ctsapnpsci ACCESS=*
    Then in BW system goto smgw > goto > Expert Funtions > External Security > ReRead ACL (N) & Globally
    I hope that this works for you.

  • Java communication error: Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=2 thRc=679 Transaction program not registered ).

    There is a RFC connection not working connection test fails.
    I found out the RFC is using a a program id that is not registerd.
    When I register the program on os level like rfcexec -r -a <program_id> -g <hostname> -x <sapgw> the connection test on the rfc works.
    The problem with the rfcexec is that it just works as long as the os session is active.
    From what I´ve read I need to configure this on java side in the web dynpro content administrator.
    Can you help me with that ? When I try to click Create jco destination I get an error.

    Hello Vioar,
    rfcexec is only a standard program for testing, you sould not register it for your application on the gateway.
    Since you are getting "User is not allowed to read any data..." - did you logon with the correct user? Does this user have enough authorizations?

    Hi,
    if you are configuring it to XI side try this blog,
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/29/configuring-the-sender-rfc-adapter--step-by-step
    else
    - You need to get Basis to register your program on the destination system.
    - Give the program Id in your communication channel then save and activate ur channel. Now test ur connection in SM59.
    - use this blog /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2008/01/08/troubleshooting--rfc-and-soap-scenarios-updated-on-20042009

    Hello Gidion,
    can you please verify the hostnames/FQDN's? Because:
    LOCATION SAP-Gateway on host hemisrq.services.retail.tc.services.retail.tc / sapgw01
    host hemisrq.services.retail.tc.services.retail.tc
    It seems to me that somewhere the domain is double used.
    Additionally:
    Sometime there is sapgw 01, sometime sapdp 02. Can you please check the correct service numbers / system numbers?

    Hi,
    Did you get chance to check the Remote Login of the RFC and authorizations of the user?
    Go to SDCCN of Satellite System.
    1. Check the status of Task Processor.
    Menu "Goto->Settings->Task Processor"; Check Task Processor Status, make sure its active.
    2. Check the Task-Specific Settings
    In t-code SDCCN --> Menu "Goto->Settings->Task-Specific" . Check the following under "Session Data Collection".
    "Data request->Settings ". Confirm the checkbox is checked for "Allow Approximate Data Collection".
    "Maintenance->Settings".
    "RFC Destinations->Settings" --> Make sure SOLMAN SID is maintained here along with SOLMAN Back RFC destination.

    Error RFCIO_ERROR_MESSAGE in abrfcio.c : 1817

    Hi,
    No i am not running SAPEHPI from remote host. it is a local installation. ERP6.0(IE1) is an IDES system with EHP3.
    During the Conflict_check phase installer programme accesses RFC Destination "SERVER_EXEC" and "EPS_CLIENT".
    SERVER_EXEC had some wierd entry.
    Destination: SERVER_EXEC (handle: 2, , )
    Error RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in abrfcpic.c : 1501
    CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=20 thRc=497
    Unable to determine host address: NiHostToAddr failed
    DEST =SERVER_EXEC
    HOST =iwdfim01
    PROG =/usr/sap/T3A/SYS/exe/run/rfcsdk/bin/rfcexec
    SERVER_EXEC had different path of the program rfcexec "PROG =/usr/sap/T3A/SYS/exe/run/rfcsdk/bin/rfcexec" and i changed it to "/usr/sap/IE1/SYS/exe/uc/NTAMD64/rfcsdk/bin/rfcexec". after this RFC was working fine but the conflict _check again failed with the same error.
    This time RFC EPS_CLIENT had errors:
    Destination: EPS_CLIENT (handle: 2, , )
    Error RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in abrfcpic.c : 1501
    CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=19 thRc=497
    Unable to determine host address: NiHostToAddr failed
    DEST =EPS_CLIENT
    HOST =q4de3gsy207
    PROG =/bas/BIN/gen/dbg/hp/epc
    GWHOST =hs0305
    GWSERV =sapgw95
    so i changed the GWHOST to q4de3gsy207  and GWSERVER: sapgw00.
    what this program does =/bas/BIN/gen/dbg/hp/epc
    the test connection fails
    but the problem persists.
    i dont know from where it is accessing the hostname :iwdfim01

  • TMS error configuration - TMS_CFG_CREATE_A2D_REQUEST

    Hello,
    I´m with an error during the configuration of TMS of a new system QAS (Quality system) to the transport domain. When I went to txcode STMS, it show me the screen of TMS configuration where I filled the fields of Domain Controller, which is the DEV system! But it show me the following error:

    Service: Communication Interface
    Start: Online
    Function: TMS_CFG_CREATE_A2D_REQUEST
    Message: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE

    I show you a print screen of this error in the following link:
    http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/1195/tmserror.jpg
    The platform of this system is an IBM iSeries.
    This maybe is related with permissions or something... no?
    Can you help me please?
    Best regards,
    JDimas

    Hello,
    I got reply from both servers when I ping from IP address but when but when I did this ping with hostname, they doesn't respond! (perhaps because it is not mapped in the .hosts file? ... am I right?)
    But now... an important thing/information! Both machines are iSeries platforms... (this is the first time that I have to make a TMS configuration between two iSeries machines/systems). But, as I read in installation guide, there are a procedure to do this type of configuration - Setting Up the Transport Directory chapter, which is linked to SAP Note 117465.
    But as I mentioned above, I don´t have any experience in this type of TMS configuration on iSeries servers, so can you guys guide me and let me know some critical information in way to do this configuration?
    Kind regards,
    JDimas
