Rdbms do not start with dependency after upgrade 11Gr2 under window 2003

Hi,
i finish to upgrade my 2 nodes cluster. I reboot the server just to be shure all the good dll are use.
At the reboot i check the window services. My OracleServiceTest1 did not start automaticly. I check the dependency and this service depend on the OracleAsmService+ASM1.
I even put a delay on the dependency, but the problem still real.
The ASM service start without problem. The only way i can start the RDBMS i to do it manually in the window "Computer management".
How i can generate a autostart off this service (RDBMS) when the service ASM start?
I check my registery variables and they are all OK.

I'm not shure if i will drop this service on a cluster.
I can use the comand
sc delete OracleServiceTest1
to delete the service in Window. This action won't affect the cluster.
But, how to recreate only this service in Window only?

Can not start a program after upgrade to version 5.0

I upgrade the iphone to version 5.0 and after that I can not start any program installed exept for the program that come with the phone

Sidebar not connected with Kerberos after upgrade 10.5.2

before upgrade 10.5.2 with sidebar finder i could connected at xserve with kerberos AFP, after upgrade not possible connected sidebar with kerberos only use connected the server in the menu bar finder.

You are not alone, I have seen the same issue.
If however I click on the "all .." option in the sidebar, and then on the server name from the subsequent list it works for me.

APs not associating with Controller after upgrade

This is pretty bad.
I've been upgrading our controllers to 4.2.209.0 without any problems untill today. The controller upgraded fine but, the APs aren't showing up anywhere. They aren't associating with any controller. I've shut/no shut the PoE ports. They show connected. The WCS says they are not associated with any controller. What should I do. Roll back the image? Will this help?

I was pretty desparate at the time so, I wasn't able to trouble-shoot any further. After I saw the DHCP debug I deleted the normal DHCP server address, created a scope for the APs and configured it on the AP management interface and the APs got addresses. After the APs got their addresses, the clients got their addresses from the regular DHCP server. I will try again with the upgrade as I rolled back to 4.2.112.0. Atleast I know I can get an ip from the controller if I need.
Do you know of any reason why my APs weren't getting addresses. Even when I rolled back they weren't getting addresses. The config hadn't changed.

Voices are not sync with video after upgrade to imovie11

After the upgrade to Imovie11, the voices are not sync with the movie.
I digitaled a lot of Sony Handicam Video 8 (HI8) tapes, also many other tapes.
All the movies, incl. the new ones, has the problem with de voices.

I gather you are using DV files. Here's what you should expect after upgrading to version 9.0.2 of iMovie '11: if you have event-clips that are longer than an hour and half you will have a noticeable lack of synchronization near the end of the clip. The only way I know of reducing the gap between audio and video while still using iMovie '11 is to open the file in QuickTime 7 (not X) and trim the file so that only the footage your tying to fix is left. Save that shortened file and import it into iMovie. It should seem synchronized now. But there is probably a remaining problem: the picture quality is has been lowered by being in iMovie. To check this, open you DV files in MPEG Streamclip. If there is no improvement in quality, you're lucky. When I play my DV files (from Video8--the original analog 8mm video) in MPEG Streamclip the color and tones are much richer. In iMovie '11 (and, I think, iMovie '09), the picture is washed out, lacking color saturation and general subtlety. This makes all makes iMovie '11 (at least) essentially useless for DV files--if my experience is generalizable. What I don't know at this point is whether these two kinds of problems (lack of synchronization and picture degradation) are avoidable by using iMovie '06 or Final Cut Express.

Google Talk not working with Messages after upgrade to Mountain Lion

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I'm no longer able to use Google Talk with the new Messages App. It worked fine on iChat, but now I cannot enable the account. When I try to check the enable box, it immediately unchecks itself and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Sound effects not working with SoundSticks after upgrade to 10.4.4

After upgrading to 10.4.4, the sound effects of OS X, such as emptying trash, iChat effects, etc, doesn't come out from the SoundSticks (first generation, connected via USB), even though I've turned it (effects) to the highest level, and selected to have it come out of the SoundSticks.
The effects are fine if I select Built-in Audio as sound output.

The names are updated to the following (although the documentation doesn't reflect this):

NTLM is not working with EP 6 SP 9 on Windows 2003 with IIS 6.

I installed EP 6 SP 9 on windiows 2003 server with IIS version 6.
Configures IisProxy.xml for redirection for filter irj. When I make a call to default website, it in turn calls server with irj filter.
Portal page comes up and requesting me to enter user id password.
I made the changes mentioned by some of the web logs in this site.
I configured HeaderVariableLoginModule an and added as explined by Gregory Wolf on the following topic.
Integrated Windows Authentication with SAP EP 6.0 SP 3 and higher.
I see following log from Ep 6 SP 9 log file security.log from directory E:\usr\sap\DEV\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system.

Lots of weblogs are pointing to remote_user value in IisProxy.log file. I am not able to see that.
I also tried switching IIS 6 to run as IIS 5 and did not help much at all.
Please help me on the issue.

Variable Exit Not Working with Personalization After Upgrade

We recently upgraded our BW production system from version 3.5 to 7.0. Currently, we have some web templates/reports that use date related
user exit variables in the query. For instance, we have a date range
variable that is populated with a 90 day rolling period in the Customer
Enhancement RSR00001 / program ZXRSRU01.
Before the upgrade, these variables would get populated by the Customer
Enhancement even if the web template/page was personalized. However
after the upgrade the, when the users try to personalize their
page/template the date range is not populated by the user exit anymore.
Instead, the date range that was present when personalization is being
set.
Seems like the sequence priority for the population of variables has
changed with the upgrade where personalization supercedes the customer
exit for variable population.
As a result, all these web reports are coming with wrong dates now
after the upgrade.

This is due to deactivation/format change of few info objects post upgrade.
This can be recitified by a program or by manual activation.
With NW2004s SAP Content contains the new versions of InfoObjects 0TCTLOW, 0TCTHIGH and 0TCTIOBJVAL having type CHAR with the length 60 are delivered.
In order to resolve the problem with personalization ensure that the right version of these InfoObjects in active. If still the old version with filed length 32 is used, it is necessary to activate these 3 InfoObjects using Administrator Workbench --> Business Content.
When activation is completed, personalization of variables should be repeated once again in order to write the values to the DSO 0PERS_VAR.
Program correction, I am not completely sure, but its something like RS_PERS_ACTIVATE.

Apps Do not Sync with 4s after upgrading.

I am trying to sync my Apps on my iTunes with my 4S, but it will not let me select Sync Apps in the iTunes. I have recently upgraded iTunes and Iphone. Can anyone help me?
All apps are compatible with Iphone, plenty of memory, I somehow just cannot choose Sync Apps tab... I see everything but cannot sync. Everything else does no problem, just the apps.
I use latest version of Itunes, latest operating sys on my 4S, latest ops on my Mac Air...

Problem solved. I removed the desktop software and reinstalled. Seems to be working now, with minor gltches, but it's working.

Bold 9650 Calendar does not sync with PC after upgrading to OS 6

Carrier/country - Verizon / United States

The symptoms - When syncing, events in Outlook transfer to device, but the events on my device are not being transferred to Outlook.
I do see that when I go in to my device calendar, then Options, my email addresses are listed as accounts, as well as the Default account. And, when I click on my primary email, it shows 233 entries in my calendar. How are my email adresses associated with the calendar?
I have gone in to the Set-Up App, clicked on my primary email address, then edit, then synchro options, and selected the Calendar. That did not help, so I tried uncheking the option and that did not help either.
If anyone has ideas it will be much appreciated!

DNS Resolver not working with JDK 1.5.0_6 and Windows 2003

I have a Windows Server 2003 machine which now has Java JDK 1.5.0_6 installed on it. Somehow the DNS resolver doesn't work - every call to InetAddress.getByName("host") throws an UnknownHostException. I've tried de-installed java and re-installing, but the problem remains. No traffic seems to be generated (i.e. no packets to port 53) when getByName() is called. I don't have any kind of firewall on the Windows Server 2003 machine.
Has anyone ever seen this kind of behaviour / problem before and know of a solution?

Ok, I finally managed to solve this problem. What was happening was that IPv6 was installed on this computer, and as a result Java was trying to do a DNS lookup using a IPv6 socket and failing. With the help of TracePlus Winsock, I discovered that internall Java's InetAddress.getByName does this:
WSAStartup
socket(INET6)
getaddrinfo
WSACleanup
Two solutions are possible - either set the system preference java.net.preferIPv4Stack to true, or uninstall the IPv6 stack. Since I couldn't find a way to set the system preference in a persistent manner (apart from passing in an argument on the java command line), I uninstalled the IPv6 stack.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
The first step should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

Hi, Im from Philippines,.... i am currently using my iPhone 4 (iOs.6.3)it started when i upgrade it from iOs4 to iOs 6.3 , My iPhone doesnt identify numbers even if its in my contact if its not starting with +63 ..what will i do?
I change everything into +63 and i thought everything is already fine,.. and then now , i dont know what happened why it doesnt recognize numbers with +63 anymore

Thank you for your question. iTunes 11.1 is required to update to and sync with iOS 7. If you are still running iTunes 10.6.3, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

If you continue to get the message that iTunes is up to date, you can download the latest version of iTunes here:

Once the file downloads, double click on the installation file that downloaded to initiate the installation.
