RDP client for iPad with SSH Proxy support

Looking for a client for iPad that supports SSH Proxy. Just like Jaadu RDP for iPhone. I need the SSH Proxy to do reverse SSH tunneling.

  • What is the best email client for ipad 2

what is the best email client for ipad 2

Im going to go ahead and assume your talking to me?
I ended up in this thread in search of a functional Exchange ready mail client capable of supporting multiple mail profiles. Since there are no free applications to accomplish this in the app stor, which I can find, I figured I'd leverage the 'community' for some direction before throwing good money after bad.
As I assume Im not the only one to do this, I figured I'd help straighten these folks out on the lingo (as they werne't applying it properly) and the sassy 'sound like apple users' comment references the way ANTI-apple folks assume you people are less than adequite users.
If I called an apple an orange, you would say I was wrong. If I did it repeatedly, after correction, you would assume Im incompetant.
Seriously, its a stupid machine and will only do what you tell it. (true for all computers, apple or otherwise)
So if I ask for a mail client, dont give me a provider. If I ask for a service, dont name a client.
Your right, this post is old. And stilll doesnt have an answer. . .
In response to MichelPM, I didnt call your baby ugly. The 'Bandwagoning' is cute though. My advice is sound, and helping you folks not to look so... well... stupid.
Since you interceded though, how about a little help? What mail client do you use? Is it exchange Compatible, with active sync? Does it offer multi-profile support? And the clients want images in their signatures, and multi signature support. (I can do this with my android phone )
Im looking forward to your responses.

  • Is there any pen for iPad with retina display ?

Is there any pen for iPad with retina display ?

Yes. The Bamboo stylus is fully supported. Only the soft rubber tipped side. The Pen side obviosuly not.
Note all stylus that work with the iPad are noticeably thicker than a pen or pencil, so precision is not something you'll get much of.
Look at the link I provided, all those stylus work with iPad. See if you like one of those. Or if you can fnd one of those were you live.

  • I have created a spreadsheet on numbers for ipad with a list of customers as a drop down menu. How can i make their address appear underneath when i select the customer?

I have created a spreadsheet on numbers for ipad with a list of customers as a drop down menu. How can i make their address appear underneath when I select the customer?
    iselect the customer?

    Hi bazza,
We won't be able to put the address from a formula into the same cell that you enter the customer's name. We can put the address in the cell under the customers name.
First let's take James advice and concatenate the address in the address table.
Here is the formula in G2
    =CONCATENATE(B2&"
    ",C2&"
    ",D2&"
    ",E2)
It shows this way because after I clicked on B2 and typed [&"] (no brackets) I typed option-return
This gives you your new line. Then I typed the closing ". I repeated this for the rest of the address.
Next we want to bring this to your order sheet. I prefer using the two formulas OFFSET and MATCH instead of VLOOKUP.
base tells OFFSETwhere to start counting from. Click A1.
row-offset is for the row. we will use MATCH() -1 to give us the row.
What MATCH does is give you the row number where something is found and you can specify an exact match. I usually construct the MATCH formula first and then cut and paste it into OFFSET. MATCH looks like this: MATCH(A2,Table 1::A,0). A2 is what we are looking for, Table 1A::A is where we are looking (the entire column A), and 0 means we want an exact match. Can you see it inside the OFFSET formula? Notice that we had to subtract 1 from its result.
column-offset tells OFFSET which column A=0 so we want 6.
we ignore "rows", "colomns" we don't need them.
If this seems like too much, just break it down into small pieces.

    Hi ravelvanto,
mine too (iPad 3/WiFi) hasn't this features.
Especially the flash can't be realized because there is a simple lack of a flash light.
Why there is no compass, calculator (I'm using the Wolfram App instead), or the weather app etc. I don't know...

  • Can I use Keynote for Ipad with my PC?

Can I use Keynote for Ipad with my PC?

Unfortunately, this is not true either. For some reason, when you export to PDF, and open the PDF on a PC, it often says it cannot read the font and you get a PDF that looks like it's very sick.
I'm not sure exactly how PDF works, but I don't know why it needs to be able to read a font correctly? I thought PDFs were readable on anything because it basically printed the document on a page, which is why you cannot edit it.

  • Is there a jabber client for iPad that will connect to Apple's iChat/jabber server?

I've just purchased a third gen iPad and I'd like to be able to use the VPN connection in conjunction with an iChat client to communicate with my office's internal iChat/jabber server. However, none of the apps I've tried are able to successfully connect? I've tried Monal, IM+, IMO, munduIM OSE and Talkonaut. No joy.
I use Messages (beta) on the desktop, but there's no way to setup anything other than an Apple ID in Messages on the iPad. I'd love to keep it unified.
Any thoughts or suggestions? I've heard that Beejive is the way to go, but (call me a cheapskate) I don't want to pay for another app just to find out it won't do what I want!

You almost certainly have a misconfigured router/firewall for jabber. I can confirm that OS X Lion Server works with the iPad and iPhone IM apps imo and BeeJiveIM.
To track down your problem, which almost certainly is simply a port getting blocked or not forwarded at some point between your router and server, I'd suggest getting an nmap executable (e.g., get Xcode via app store, then macports, then sudo port install nmap) and download the old feature-rich Airport Utility 5.6 from Apple. First try this:
    $ nmap -p 5222 localhost
    $ nmap -p 5222 server_ip_on_LAN
    $ nmap -p 5222 server_ip_on_INTERNET
This port should be open for each probe. When I first set up my server, Messages beta added a port forwarding entry on my Airport router, but this had a duplicate entry with another port forward, so I had to use Airport Utility 5.6 to track down and delete the superfluous port forward entry. I also had to use Server Admin to open all the iChat ports.
One thing I was hoping for is an iOS app that supports video/voice over jabber, but all the apps I see are strictly IM. Can anyone recommend an app for this?

  • Is there a compatible Swyx client for iPad?

At work we use SwyxIt! VoIP clients in the office with our own SwyxWare servers, currently Swyx 5.03 on one site and Swyx 7 on another.  I read rumours of an official Swyx client for iPhone but that was dated 2009, just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or what I should look for in a compatible iPad app if there is such a thing.  I am told that Swyx can be picky about clients so I don't want to go trying any old thing and find that it crashes the live server (which would be a disaster!)  I am the IT administrator so I have complete access to the Swyx server, I know how to configure Swyx for SwyxIt! clients and Swyx phones but have never tried anything else.
I have a first gen iPad running the latest iOS as supplied through iTunes.

I don't see anything more recent than that, when they announced a web app for accessing their service, not a native iOS app. There's no native app listed in the iTunes Store, the only source for iPad apps, so it would appear that no official app is available and going through their web interface is the only option.
    Regards.

  • RDP client for MacBook

    Hello!
I'm looking for Remote Desktop client, for connecting remotly to Win* machines. The version of RDPclient on Microsoft site is still not supporting Mac on Intel-based chipset
    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    Hi-
Have you looked at "Chicken of the VNC"?
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/
(apparently playfully named after a brand of tinned tuna, here in the States, "Chicken of the Sea"...go figure
Whatever -- it is not precisely RDP, since you are going to be controlling the desktop, and not making a virtual desktop connection. But if you only need one person to connect to the Win Machine, this might do it.

  • Click issue with s:Datagrid on mobile for iPads with retina displays (only left half is clickable)

I'm currently testing a Flex mobile application (that was originally made for iPad 2) on high rest iPad fourth generation and iPad Air devices.
I'm having this strange issue where the s:DataGrid, no matter where I use it in the application, will display correctly, but only the left half is clickable to select rows. The number of columns in the DataGrid is not important, nor is the width of the DataGrid, the problem is always present. As soon as you try to click in the right half, it doesn't work.
The application uses an applicationDPI of 160, and scales properly on the higher resolution devices.
So this feels like a bug to me, as if the DataGrid scales properly, but not it's clickable area?
I have tried a bunch of stuff to see if I could work around this issue, like calling invalidate functions and setting the DataGrid's width dynamically, but no change so far.
At this point I'm open for any suggestions or ideas...
Edit: After further testing it seems the same is true for the height. I noticed when I added more rows in the grid. Only the top half of the DataGrid can be clicked. So it really looks like a dimension issue with the clickable area?
    Thanks

I ended up not using the DataGrid, and decided to use the experimental MobileGrid instead, which is not afflicted with this issue.
So this issue no longer concerns me.
BTW the default theme of MobileGrid is dark, but can be lightened up with CSS and by extending the MobileGrid skins, up to a point where I almost can't tell the difference v.s. the DataGrid.
It also performs better then the DataGrid. since it's based on List. With 300 elements, it scrolled noticeably faster.

Maybe it's because I have office installed but I tought it was free to use?
I underwent the same exact scenario. Installed MS Office (Home and Student), and also installed the RDC client. Worked for several months, and then gave me the "license expired" problem. Since it went a few months longer than the previous installation, which was not part of Office, I erroneously thought that the licensing problem was gone. Not so. Six months after install, it is dead. I think the Office version just gives you six months or so of usage, instead of three.
It's awfully "nice" of Microsoft to pull this, without giving the user any means for resolution. It says you have to buy a license, but from who?, where? How much?

    1. This is the forum for windows 9x
    2. There is no official client for 2008 (yet), but several posters have
claimed success with the Vista client.
