RDP to VDI 3 fails with 'Administrative Task closed the connection'

The RDP to the VDI 3 login page described in the page below would be a really useful feature for us. Unfortunately when I connect using MSTSC (Windows XP SP 3) the screen goes black, then a message pops up with 'The connection was closed by an administrative task' (or words to that effect).
Any idea on how to resolve this issue?

Finally worked this one out.
Turns out I had two pools assigned but it still eludes me how to set one to the default...
Anyway, what was required was to clear the 'Prompt for credentials' and use the <username>::pool= etc etc to connect to the pool.
Doesn't render as quickly as using the Sun Ray DTU but it's good enough.

I created an AIR application in Adobe Flash CS6, but when I test, debug or publish it, an error always occured.
CreateWinProcess failed with error 2. The system cannot find the file specified.
When I clicked OK, Flash suddenly stops responding, so I need to end the process using Task Manager.
I created a blank FLA document and tested and published it, everything's fine there. It was exported properly. But when I do it with the AIR app, Flash can't even start exporting the SWF of the AIP app, and instead gave me the error.
I speculate that there is something wrong with the Java command line stuff Flash is doing behind the curtain. I tried using ADL myself and get the AIR app working fine.
I also found out that Flash has its own JRE installed, so I don't have to bother the JRE used by my computer.
Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance. Have a nice day!

It happens when trying to test, debug, or publish air applications (AIR 2.5 – AIR 3.4 , desktop, android, iOS)

Exchange Server OS: Win 2012 R2 Std
Exchange : 2013 SP1 Ent
Two Servers with CAS+MB role, already part of one DAG. I am trying to add one new server in existing DAG. The installation of exchange 2013 competed successfully. However when i am adding it to the existing DAG, the below error is coming. Please help

As Deepak mentioned, please try to enable IPv6 on all member servers first.
Based on my research, In Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, IPv6 is supported only when IPv4 is also installed and enabled. If Exchange 2013 is deployed in this configuration, and the network supports IPv4 and IPv6, all Exchange servers can send data to and
receive data from devices, servers, and clients that use IPv6 addresses.
Please also configure or disable Firewall to allow the connection.

I am looking at an issue with users not getting specific group policies.
After searching a number of client computers I found that the following error
The user '*' preference item in the 'User - 6th Form Students Policy {E03166E7-A848-48B5-AA93-97B848AA9C13}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070003 The system cannot find the path specified.' This error was suppressed.
I can find the folder in the Sysvol folder on all of the domain controllers.
The issue with end users seems to be that the proxy settings for internet explorer is not being applied.
Potential problems?

Hi all
In administering this policy I am a little confused.
We have a policy that distributes proxy settings in the internet explorer maintenance settings section - however when opening this policy up in GPO editor the internet explorer maintenance section is not present.
I plan to apply the settings via User/preferences/control panel settings/ internet settings (or registry settings from article) however I am unable to edit the settings for internet explorer maintenance and these will persist. Ideas????

Gateway unexpectedly closed the connection..

When I try to Test Connection for the Active Directory Resources it shows the following error
The gateway unexpectedly closed the connection with an exception, check the gateway trace for more information. ==> java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error
Previously it has working fine for me...

Hi,
Brought the Ms-6967 Bluetooth USB adapter so I could connect it to my nokia 7650. But have had big problems which failed in me getting anything out of the product.
For starters every time I reboot my pc, I have to re-install the driver for the Bluetooth dongle? because my operating system (XP) finds this hardware every time I reboot and doesn't seem to remember the last time I install it.
Plus when I use the software it actually communicates with my Nokia 7650 as in sending a message asking for permission to link pc to phone and when I answer yes on my nokia it replies with " The Bluetooth serial port connection failed: The remote device closed the connection?
I've wasted so many hours now on this and had no luck. So if anyone has the smallest piece of help to give I would be well happy,

Having seen similar symptoms recently you might want to check that you haven't had a browser hijacker installed - check your proxy settings to see if the browser is trying to use a proxy server, or, if you usually use a proxy, check to make sure it hasn't
been changed. (In IE go to Tools->Internet Options->Connections->Lan Settings.)

I am using APEX version 4.2.1.00.08 with Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
I've developed an application, that was working fine till 3 days ago...
At the moment, I can log into the application but when I enter my ID/PW it takes me to my 1st page but then it runs for a mint or so (trying to load charts) and then generates following error message
No data received
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
interestingly, I haven't changed anything within the application
I've tried it with Chrome Version 27.0.1453.116 m and IE 8.0...
with IE 8.0, it shows I/O Error in place of my graphs and get's a pop up message that displays "Error - error unknown"
The only thing that I can recall doing differently is logging via remote desktop connection, but I've used remote desktop in the past as well and it worked.
Please advice

I'm trying to running a code which apply the control of my myRIO through a VI on my host computer. A video stream of data is also going to be send from myRIO to the Host Computer VI. However, I am getting the "Host Computer VI" closed the connection. I have no idea why.
And at the Host Computer keep giving out error 1074360302 occured at Property Node (arg 1) in myRIO vi.
I would be glad if someone could help me.

Thanks for your response, what sort of camera are you using? This error has been previously seen with a Stingray camera when the IMAQ drivers aren't quite up to date.
So firstly, we need to make sure the IMAQ drivers are updated.
Further questions regarding your application:
Did this VI ever run?
Does this error occur everytime the VI is run?
What is the the property node doing?

Univers Designer : JZ0C1, IOException closed the connection

Hi !
We get a very strange error when we work in Univers Designer (we're in BO 4.1) when we're working with Derived Table.
For some reason when we edit a Derived table in a universe (connected to a Sybase database), we received an error message "JZ0C1" saying that we get an IOException and it's closed the connection.
We get the error message when we click on "Check Syntax" Button in the edit window of the derived table.

This can mean that the target end has already closed without reading all the data you are trying to send.

Hi. As long as you're sure there's a transaction going on, and the connection
is a transaction-aware object (from a TxDataSource), either will be fine.
In the first scenario the actual semantics of the close() call are less than
normal, because we really don't close the connection or return it to the
pool until the actual transaction commits, and in the second case, we have
already taken the connection out of your service as of the commit().
The second scenario is the usual coding style. If there's ever a chance your
code will get non-transaction-aware connections, it is crucial to close
connections, and I always recommend putting the close() in a finally block
so it's guaranteed to happen.

There is an update avaialbe for Ford systems to correct bluetooth problems. You need to update your system.

RDP using Smartcard fails with NLA for non-domain members

We have to administer Windows 2008 R2 servers which are in domains we are not members of - typically domains that support a particular application. We have DoD smartcards (CAC) and we admin from our Windows 7 desktops. If we disable NLA, we can CAC-authenticate
over RDP just fine. With NLA enabled, though, we get "The remote computer you are trying to connect to requires NLA but your Windows domain controller cannot be contacted to perform NLA".
My assumption would be that the Win7 desktops would never know where the particular ADCs are, since we're not domain members, but that they actually need to verify the DoD root cert that signed our CAC. Said root cert has been installed on our desktops and
on the servers in the domains.
What is necessary to get NLA with smart cards working for non-domain members?
Edit: With NLA enabled I *can* connect over RDP from one of the domain members to another, so this really seems specific to the non-member desktop settings and how it performs NLA

If you use the credential SSP on Windows Vista or Windows 7 to log on with a smart card from a computer that is not joined to a domain, the smart card must contain the root certification of the domain controller. A public key infrastructure (PKI) secure channel
cannot be established without the root certification of the domain controller.
You can use following command for adding certificate.
certutil –addstore –enterprise NTAUTH <CertFile>
Where <CertFile> is the root certificate of the KDC certificate issuer.

VMM 2012 R2 Template creation fails with sysprep error via the gui, but works in powershell?

I'm in the process of trying to convert an existing gen1 VM (Win Server 2012 R2) to a VM template using VMM 2012 R2 with rollup 1. The creation keeps failing with the following error :-
"Error
(2901)The operation did not complete successfully because of a parameter or call sequence
that is not valid.Recommended ActionEnsure
that the parameters are valid, and then try the operation again."
I've checked that the local administrator account for the machine being converted to a template and it is blank as expected and in an attempt to troubleshoot I've output the template creation script via the VMM GUI and executed the commands in order which appears
to have resolved the problem, well the template finishes creation, i'm yet to deploy a machine via it?

Now the only fields that weren't populated when I ran through the gui were FullName and Organization? Before I changed the script these two fields were just set to ""? Is that what has potentially caused the issue are they both required fields?

Your not the only one who can reproduce this. Did you ever find out what it was? I saw your post and tried your same work-around and it also worked for me via Powershell.
