RDS through UAG 2010 - invalid signature

Hello,
I have a UAG2010 SP4 system and am trying to get a few RemoteApps published.
I'm still getting the "requested URL (/remoteDesktopGateway/) contains an invalid signature" message with Win8 Clients - I thought this was fixed in SP3?
Thx in advance for help/comments!

  • How to configure array for UAG 2010 with topology Between a frontend firewall and a backend firewall

    Hi,
We want to publish exchange 2013 through UAG 2010. What is the best topology for UAG 2010?
Can we configure UAG 2010 arrawy with topology "Between a frontend firewall and a backend firewall" ?
Can we configure UAG 2010 array in workgroup?
What is the drawback to use ARR to publish exchange 2013?
    Thanks

Hi Jitender - I have doen quite a few UAG deployments like this and is fully supported sitting in a DMZ between Firewalls. However, for an array the UAG Servers muts be domain joined. In these deployments the question is whether to place a Domain In the
DMZ (locked down of course) or allow traffic through to a domain controller via the backend firewall.
The link you require is here -

  • Publish Exchange 2013 using UAG 2010 Sp4

    Hi,
We need to publish Exchange 2013 through UAG 2010. But we are not getting any dedicated link for UAG 2010 to publish Exchange 2013. we have UAG 2010 with SP4.
Is there any Step by step UAG 2010 configuration link to publish Exchange 2013?
    Thanks

    Hi Jitender,
Based on my knowledge, publishing Exchange 2013 with UAG 2010 is similar with publishing Exchange 2010.
I find a related Blog and Guid for your reference:

  • ITunes & Quicktime has an invalid signature. The program has been removed

When I try to update itunes through the apple software update, i get error message 'itunes and quicktime has an invalid signature. the program has been removed.'
When I go to download from the apple website.. it downloads 10% and then stops.
I have tried downloading through google chrome, firefox and IE, I have tried to delete my temp file, And I have also gone into internet options and ticked 'allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid'.
Nothing is working!!! Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay. Try downloading and saving the installer onto a different PC. Copy the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) onto a USB key or thumb drive or other external drive (or even burn it to a CD) and then carry it to your PC. Copy the installer onto your internal hard drive, and then start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe).
(If we can get a working copy of the installer onto a PC, installs will usually go through without the invalid-signature/not-valid-win32/unknown-publisher/etc errors.)

  • UAG 2010 RDS invalid method

    Hi All,
would someone be so kind and post the TerminalServicesGateway rule from a working UAG install?
I'm getting invalid method errors (well, actually they're warnings) on both RPC_OUT_DATA and RPC_IN_DATA , even though the rule is there with the methods defined. My only guess is the rule is not matching because of a wrong Parameter
definition (see screenshot below: there's no value or anything defined).
    Running UAG 2010 SP4
Error: Request <..> for application Remote Desktop Services of type TerminalServicesGateway failed because the  method used RPC_OUT_DATA is not valid for requested URL /rpc/rpcproxy.dll?localhost:3388.
    Thx in advance!

  • ITunes won't find new iPhone and update invalid signature

Trying to restore from iPhone 4 Restore backup to new iPhone 6 (Windows 7) and encountered the following......
When trying to connect the new iPhone 6 to my existing iTunes account, iTunes would not show the device (couldn't find it). Received a popup that stated the phone could not be recognized and an update to 11.4 (12.1....) was required. [[ I found this strange since I just updated and backed up my iPad and old iPhone 4 last night in anticipation of getting the new iPhone 6 today.]]
I tried the update multiple times but it would stall 15 minutes in and give the message "invalid signature" and error out.  I looked through many comments on this support sight, read what related help was available through iTunes help, etc, and spent HOURS trying each one (listed below).  A combination of a couple of steps finally worked for me so I am sharing this to hopefully save you some time and frustration. MUCH frustration.
Tried but did not resolve..... updated new phone to current 8.1.1 and made sure 'Find My Phone' was turned off.
Tried but did not resolve..... downloaded iTunes manually from within iTunes.
Tried but did not resolve .... downloaded iTunes manually from Apple.com downloads.
Tried but did not resolve..... downloaded Firefox (an alternative browser) and manually downloaded iTunes again from Apple.com.
WARNING: The following resolution will wipeout any previous iTunes settings like views, organization, etc.  It will also wipeout any previous setup already done in your new iPhone other than fingerprinting, language and date/time setup. Email accounts, setup preferences, etc, will be wiped.  Also, your old phone will no longer work with iTunes - apprently this new software issue will only recognize one phone.  Your music, contacts, most apps (I did lose a few), if backed up from your old phone properly before starting this process will 'Restore' to your new phone in the updated iTunes.
Tried and worked..... Closed iTunes. Went to Start on my computer, typed itunes64setup. I had two itunes64setup listed due to the first manual download from Apple and then the one done again via the Firefox browser.  I chose the one downloaded from the Firefox browser - not sure it would make a difference. (If you have two listed, Hover your mouse over each and it will give you the times of when they were downloaded).  Right click on the itunes64setup and choose 'Run as Administrator'.  (You may incur issues with this step if using a work proprietary computer.)  Opened iTunes and plugged the iPhone 6 in and it recognized the phone. I was then able to 'Restore' info.
Since I had already tried the manual downloads, I am not sure if they were necessary and maybe running the itunes64setup only would have resolved the issue.  If you are addressing the iTunes update iPhone 6 issue and try the itune64setup without the manual downloads, etc, and it works, please update this support entry so others can follow your lead.
    Thanks!
What Apple is not telling (WARNING) their faithful users about is that they obviously have software issues for existing users in the 'Windows' world when upgrading to the newer phones and to do so you are going to need to spend some time and effort.  This is strike two for me, just coming off the 8.1.0 iPad 2 upgrade debacle Apple put so many of us through.  Shame Shame, Apple!  It's called Q/A and should be applied to all your users environments and not just those who have everything new in an Apple/Mac only world. There are more of us that don't. Thx!

Step one : Please restart EVERYTHING involved. This means your cable modem / dsl router, Airport Base Station if you have one, your computer, your iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad (2) if applicable. Shut it all down and power it all back up in the appropriate order (modem / router / computer, et cetera)
Step two : Make sure you have the most recent version of all software. Verify you have the latest version of iTunes and the Remote software. Check to make sure the AppleTV has no updates as well.
Step three : Enable Home Sharing on all applicable devices.
Step four : Make sure the AppleTV and the computer are both hooked up to the same network, wireless or otherwise, and make sure if you have a non-Apple router anywhere in the mix it is allowing traffic to flow freely between all the Apple tech. Apple has specific documentation on this. Search the Support site for "Apple TV: TCP and UDP ports and protocols used" and make sure none of those ports are being blocked by the router or any firewall software you may have running, like Zone Alarm.
Step five : Fire up the Remote app on your phone, and let it search for your AppleTV. There should be no passwords required anywhere if the Apple tech is properly talking to one another.
Step six : If all the above still doesn't work, then call in a professional who can get eyes on the equipment and do a proper job of troubleshooting.
Please let us know if this does not help.

  • I run Windows 7 and the newest version (10.6) of iTunes will not install. The installer won't even begin, and when I run the Apple Software update, it tells me that iCloud and iTunes have invalid signature.

When I run the Apple Software update, it tells me that iCloud and iTunes have invalid signature and will not be downloaded. When I DL iTunes64setup.exe, the program will not start (there's a bar that flashes but nothing actually begins). I've done everything short of reinstalling Windows to fix this (system resore, unistalling all Apple products, taking down firewall, running Windows FixIt - which either won't find the problem or gives me an error saying that the troubleshooter cannot be downloaded at this time, going into the security features to allow programs without valid signatures, trying to install earlier versions of iTunes). It all started when I downloaded the Decemberists new album on my iPhone, and it wasn't downloading it properly so I connected it to my Dell, but some songs still wouldn't DL - also, the newest OS for my iPhone still won't install via WiFi - and so I uninstalled iTunes first, but nothing is helping. And I don't have any security issues (Norton has checked). Any ideas? I'm at my wit's end after 3 days of this. Thank you.

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

  • I am getting "invalid signature" error when i try updating itunes. How do I fix?

I received a notice that an update was available for itunes. I went through the installation
process and then near the end an error message came up telling me that it would not be installed
because of an invalid signature I tried doing this again only manual this time and the same thing happened.
I have never had this happen before. What is the problem? How do I fix?
    Thanks, JKay

    Twanger317,
Have you tried to do a repair install on the pc of iTunes? Also if that does not work i would follow these instructions on removing iTunes and reinstall. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 for windows vista and 7 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 for windows xp. let me know if that helps.

  • Itunes 10.7 wont startup or run on windows 7 64 bit,, while downloading it from previous version of itunes say invalid signatures.

whenever i used to download something from itunes it restarts in mid,, and starts again and does the some for a long time and atlast says error 8008. Then i tried to upgrade it new itunes would download for some time then gives error saying invalid signatures,, I then downloaded itunes 10.7 from apple website.. download completes and it wont run.. wont start up.. I have tried Run as administrator used new user accounts, downloaded it again and again deleted temp folder aswell, deleted itunes library from my music folder aswell, done everything i found in discussions but that wont help,

Apologies about the delay. I've been brooding.
Although we don't know where the specific relevant keys are on modern versions of iTunes, there's a shotgun approach we can take to dealing with them, which has a reasonable chance of success in this case. The complicating factor in your case is that you've got a 64-bit Windows. So there's an extra hoop to jump through.
The basic approach is the procedure from the following weblog entry:
[Solving setup errors by using the SubInACL tool to repair file and registry permissions|http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/09/04/solving-setup-err ors-by-using-the-subinacl-tool-to-repair-file-and-registry-permissions.aspx]
The complicating factor is that we have to make an additional edit to the reset.cmd file.
When you're in Notepad, replacing the two YOURUSERNAME values with the name of your Windows 7 user account, in the first line of the batch file, replace the:
    %programfiles%
    ... with:
    %ProgramFiles(x86)%
(On a 64-bit Windows system, subinacl is installed in a different location than on 32-bit systems. So unless we make that change, the reset.cmd isn't going to be able to find subinacl and the reset.cmd won't work.)
While you're in Notepad editing the file, make sure each of the nine lines of the file start of a new line. (Sometimes they get smooshed up together on a single line, and then again the reset.cmd won't work.)
I'd strongly suggest setting up a System Restore point immediately prior to running the reset.cmd. There's instructions on that in the following document:

  • UAG 2010 SP4 and Outlook 2011 for MAC

    Hi
We have UAG 2010 SP4 with trunk where autodiscover and EWS services are published without pre-authentication (Authorize all users). Exchange 2013 accepts basic auth on services.
RCA tests for Outlook Anywhere are passing and we can configure any windows/Outlook2007+ from internet through UAG using autodiscover.
However with Outlook2011 for MAC does not go through the mail account creation process when connecting to UAG.
According to Outlook logs, it will connect to autodiscover service and receive correct service urls for EWS, OAB etc.
After autodiscover, it tries to connect to EWS which fails and logs following UAG message
"<DIV style=""" id=""Error_Msg"">You are not authorized to access the application.</div>"
However with browser and same credentials I can connect to all service urls and they popup authentication prompt and lets user in. Outlook 2011 MAC works when connecting directly to Exchange so this is 99% sure an UAG issue.
Any suggestion where to look at?

I guess you already went through this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee921443.aspx
On Exchange, there is a command related to Outlook for Mac
    Set-CASMailbox -Identity <alias> -EWSAllowEntourage:$True –EWSAllowMacOutlook:$true –EWSAllowList:"*+Mail*"
According to the blog entry below, if you publish with UAG/TMG it has to be enabled on the Organization level :
    http://blog.hametbenoit.info/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=197
Please don't do it in production, it is just a suggestion :)

  • I can't update itunes due to an invalid signature?

The download starts but half way through the process a prompt appears saying the download can not be completed due to itunes having an invalid signature, what can i do to rectify this problem? Will i lose sync'ed data associated with my iphone if i uninstall?

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
    * Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
    * Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
    * Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

  • Invalid signature error on submission to iTunes connect

I'm at the hair-tearing out end of stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've developed an app using Build.Phonegap and MVC4 for IOS. Now I'm stuck on the final hurdle: submitting the app to iTunes connect through APP Loader.
I successfully uploaded the application. And then, immediately after I get an email that reads as follows: -
Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target.
Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click "Ready to Upload Binary." Continue through the submission process until the app status is "Waiting for Upload." You can then deliver the corrected binary.
I've checked, re-checked and double-checked again the certificate.p12 and the provisioning profile. They all look good to me, set to distribution not 'ad hoc'. The deployment type is set to 'Apple Ap store'.

    please help me out

  • Publish Sharepoint 2013 with UAG 2010 SP3

    Hi All,
I'm hoping some of you may be trying to accomplish the same task I am and are seeing similar problems.
We have a single SharePoint 2013 Server running in our forest behind a UAG server that is setup to publish other applications (Exchange and RDS Connections which all works fine).  When publishing the SharePoint site following the instructions found
here (http://www.wictorwilen.se/sharepoint-2013-and-unified-access-gateway-uag-2010-service-pack-3) we are presented with the logon to UAG and then
redirected to the SharePoint site where I'm informed that I don't have access to the site.  One change that we made to the instructions above was to terminate SSL on the UAG server and are using HTTP to the sharepoint server from UAG.
The SharePoint site shares the same DNS name as the internal network and the users can access the site internally with no issue.
My gut feeling on this issue is that some where UAG is not passing the credentials to the SharePoint server correctly but I'm not able to locate a log to determine failed login attempts.  If someone could point me to where that may be that could be
    pretty helpful.
Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jeremy,

    Hi Jeremy,
Did you ever get this sorted? We've just migrated from Sharepoint 2010 to 2013 and everything looks good - except in the UAG (2010 SP3) that gives a "this site hasnt been shared with you". We also have SSL termination in the UAG, and the internal name is
different from the external name, but it worked in Sharepoint 2010 without this issue. And yes we recreated the application with the 2013 template.
