Hello, I also had question about this offer. I wanted to trade-in my iPhone 5 and buy a new iPhone 6. iPhone 6s are currently not in investory and it takes at least a couple weeks to ship, and this offer expires tomorrow. So, I called your 800 customer service number and they told me that as long as I place the preorder for the new phone before 10/18, I will be eligible to get that extra $50 bonus if even I hand over the old phone only after receiving the new phone.
Based on that information, I went to a store (Downers Grove, IL) yesterday but I was told there that I will get this bonus only if actually handover my old phone to them by 10/18. That basically means that this bonus offer can not be used for purchase of iPhone 6s, which are not going to be in store by tomorrow.
Could you please help? Thanks.

This is a great offer for upgrading to a new smart phone and I'm happy to read that you are trying to take advantage of it. I apologize, though, for the confusing and apparently conflicting information that you've received about how the offer works.
In order to receive the $50 bonus for your new smart phone, you must trade in your previous phone and purchase the new phone at the same time.

Didn't get GCU 10% Trade In Bonus

I just completed a trade in at Best Buy store #654 and had a bad experience plus I didn't get my 10% trade in bonus. When trading in I had to explain to the employee that the My Best Buy information was put in before the ID. He said it would be applied after and I knew that wasn't right. So another employee came over and showed him how to enter the My Best Buy information and I thought that I was good. Well turns out that I didn't get get the 10% Bonus and either he didn't submit the My Best Buy info or the system glitched. Also his customer service skills were not that good (as his name tag said sales consultant), it was not a good experience at a Best Buy that I visit frequently.

Gamers Club Unlocked 10% trade in bonus

I live in Greenville, SC. Went in to the store today to trade in a game and gave all of my info like usual (I trade in a lot). They completed the transaction, but did not give me the 10% bonus. When I asked about it, they very rudely told me that I'm not supposed to get the 10% bonus every time (which was news to me). After a bit of escalation everyone I spoke to told me that we don't get the 10% bonus every time anymore. Is this true or are they all misinformed?
I've had trouble with my card, so I've had to have them cancel and redo the transaction before, but it's always worked with my phone number. Is this a new policy or something?

What enuf has said is correct. The 10% trade-in bonus is a perk of GCU, and should be applied to any trade-in you do, regardless of current promotions. Didn't receive 10% trade-in bonus for GCU

I traded in 3 games, received the 50% trade-in bonus from this week's promotion, but I did not receive the 10% bonus that I am due from my Gamer Club Unlocked subscription.
To slightly complicate things, I think I threw away the receipt that I was given. I thought that maybe I could print something from bestbuy.com, but this transaction hasn't posted yet, and after looking at previous trade-in transaction that have posted to the website, it doesn't look like the posted transactions contain any sort of transaction number or anything.
So first of all, I guess, how can I go about getting another copy of my receipt? Secondly, how can I get the 10% that is owed to me?

GCU Trade-in bonus not applied

On Thursday July 31st I traded in Dragon's Crown for the PS3. I was just reviewing the benefits of being an unlocked member and noticed that I did not receive the 10% trade in bonus. The base trade-in value was $10 and I only received $10 credit. While 10% of that is a small amount, I am concerned that my GCU is not working properly as I entered in and confirmed my information in store. Should I be concermed about this?

Sorry to hear your GCU benefits might not have been properly applied to your recent trade! As long as your My Best Buy membership info was entered at the beginning of the transaction, then both the trade-in credit bonus and bonus points should have been applied automatically.

Missing 10% GCU Trade in Bonus

I did a trade in on Sunday but they couldn't get my 10% trade in bonus to show up. They said since I received the 30% bonus that it overrode the 10%, which I know is false. If someone could help me with this, that would be great. Thanks.

Yep that's inaccurate information. You can use the Trade-In bonus and the Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) benefits on the same transaction. Sounds like the sales associate may have been misinformed about the process.

I'm trying to calculate the number of days until your next birthday. Only using current month, day and birth month and day. I can get close but i'm way off. When i enter in the next day, the amount of days is supposed to be 364. This is where I am having problems. I know my code is way off. I just need some guidance please!

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page. 
 
Another possibility is to use:
* [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Menu_differences Firefox (Tools) > Options] > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

I use a two button mouse with my Mac Book Pro. It works fine, but after installing Lion, the mouse wheel goes in reverse of what it did (rolling the wheel towards your palm goes up not down the page). Anyone know how to fix this?

I've contacted support and we found the solution. If payment fails - for whatever reason, e. g. because insufficient funds - you have to update your billing info, even if it is completely correct. This will trigger a "retry payment" action, and the problem is resolved (assuming that the original cause of the problem is resolved too, in the example above you have sufficient funds).
Maybe this info is helpful for others, so I've posted it here.

IPhone 5s trade in deal towards iPhone 6?

I have a few questions regarding the trade in offer for the iPhone 5s towards a 6. First off, I live in Harrisburg, NC and I'm worried that if I trade in my 5s before the deadline (9/30) I wont have a phone till they get back in stock. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for new iphones to get back in stock in North Carolina? Also, am I able to go to a Verizon store directly and trade in my phone or would I HAVE to ship it to them? The problem is I don't want to go without a phone for a month if the phone isn't in the store by the time I trade my phone in. If anyone has any answers to these questions, please let me know! We would never leave you without a phone, tommy005! If you happen to trade in your device online, you have until 11/15/2014 to send in your current device. By then, you will have your iPhone 6. You can certainly visit a store on the 19th of September or after to purchase the iPhone 6 and trade in your device at the store. Please know that if the stores are out of stock, you still would have to trade in your device via vzw.com/tradein and return the device by 11/15/2014. If they are in stock, the stores can take the trade in.

Is anyone else sick of having to use 'about:config' for custom history settings??? Or hoping that Firefox will keep your history after your next update???

I remember the days when Firefox was really customizable...
You could actually select how far back FF would remember your history...I used to have nearly two years' worth of history...before the 'new and improved' system of 'rapid releases', that is.
It's not the release cycle that p****s me off, it's the little surprises that you discover later. Some of you know what I mean, the ones that the developers don't tell you about...the ones that all of the bug fixes, security patches and new features are supposed to make us overlook or forget the things that have been removed or don't work right...
Sorry, but I'm getting tired of wondering what in the hell is going to go wrong next...
