Re 6500 Slide - can't see who is ringing me before...

Hi - when I receive a call from a Contact in my Contact List, no details are shown, only 'Call' - how do I get this information to show (like it used to), so I can see who's calling before answering my phone ?? I used to be able to see the caller's name and phone number previously. Any ideas how to fix this ??

If you see only 'CALL' when you receive a phone then most probably its an Operator issue. Check with your operator whether the Caller ID sevice is active ?

The line below is not that necessary in the order of priority, which for all intense and purposes is quite useless. I don't really care about how long ago something was posted or where it was posted but an indication to show 'updated' posts and by who is vital.

Why do we even need 'Dreamweaver support forum'. We already know that's where we are! I guess a selection of posts from other forums may appear in a 'general' postings list somewhere, but who really cares - if I'm asking a question related to DW that's the forum I'm going to, not a general list as I don't care a monkey knackers what's been posted in Fireworks or InDesign or Illustrator. If I did I'd go to those forums.
If you are tracking several postings it is going to become hugely annoying for both the person who has asked the question and the people helping the original poster as many replies will potentially go unnoticed and not resolved.
And what's with the silly horizontal scroll bar being created for long lines of text? That's annoying too.
Plenty of teething issue you need to get your head around over the next few weeks.

We can't help you, you will need to call a local PC/Mac tech to come in and secure your network, likely they will recommend a newer faster router that has better security and fresher firmware updates.
Plus they can set your routers channel(s) to be far away from others in the area that might be causing your problems.
It's a shame but a lot of the older routers were shipped to be easy to set up by the user, but are severly lacking in security so anyone in the neighborhood can use it or hack it.
Print out my guide and ask the comptuer tech to apply those strick standards to your router or new one, you'll be secure after that.
Even the Comcast router/modems are insecure now despite enabling WPA2(AES) because they don't use enough random characters and only numbers, which is easy to crack on any computer with a decent graphics card.
It would take a massive botnet several hundred years to brute force my network.

Thank you so very much! My husband is in Afghanistan and calls at different times. If I am on a call and can't answer him it could be days before I hear from him again. I never thought to just restart my phone! Duh...this is my first smartphone so I am learning. All day people were calling while I was on the phone but I couldn't answer. i tried some other versions of ff..but also the same problem
now i use IE9.. and no problem...BUT..IE9 works very slow not like ff...i rather use ff !!

Can I see what computers are authorized before I deauthorize and reauthorize

I'm afraid to deauthorize. I have my 5 limit but don't remember all the computers authorized to play my music. Can you see what computers are authozied before you deauthorize them....or do you just reauthorize from the start. What do I need to reauthorize computers?

In order to see which devices are authorized on your account:
Open iTunes
Click Store
Click Account
Click View Account
Enter your password
Look in the second section iTunes in the Cloud
To the far right you'll see Manage Devices
Once it's clicked you will see all of the devices currently authorized in iTunes/on your account

Well, it sounds like you have security problems, but the short answer to your original question is no, it's not possible to tell who accessed the files. Disable file sharing unless you really need it. If you do need it, disable guest access. When you're on an untrusted network, definitely disable it, or activate the Firewall and block all incoming connections.

Can I see who loaded PL00 data once status has changed?

The SEM-BCS monitor allows you to see who last changed the status of a task (i.e. loaded, locked etc.).
Does anybody know how we can show who last loaded data (in particular PL00 data) once the task for this load has been locked (and the status details thereby only show who locked the task)?

My college kids charge on my credit card- how can I see who is charging what?Unlike all other vendors, you can't get info from apple 800 number on the charge

how can I find out what my college kids are buying on itunes. It is charged to my credit card number but the 800 number given to the credit card company takes me to the web site. I can only see purchases with my own account. Short of cutting off apple as a vendor is there a way to see this? Is there a way to look up purchases by the order number?

Are these college kids your kids, or have you allowed details of your credit card to be more freely available? I can't believe the latter ... but who knows.
Anyhow; surely the purchases you see are what has been charged to your account. Assuming you know which of these are yours, the balance has to be that made by the 'College kids'.
Or is there more to this than meets the eye?

Can's see who is in the CC line in Mail

Just recently I can now longer see who is in the CC line of incoming mail unless I scroll over the field. This is when an individual message is open. I can't seem to find anything in view or preferences that changes this. Any hints?

Nokia N8 Can not see who's calling / display won't...

Hi,
I have the problem that when I get a call my phone will ring but there is nothing seen onto the display.
When I use the unlock button on the side of the phone it unlocks and then I can see who's calling and take the call.
When I want to hang-up, the display stays off and I can't hang up. I need to use the button on the side again to activate the display and then hang up.
The same is with the alarm buzzer, I set my phone to wake me up in the morning.
When the alarm goes, I cannot turn it of directly.
I need to unlock the phone again with the button on the side of the phone and then I can press snooze or turn off alarm.
Does anyone has experience with this or has a solution?
It is a Nokia N8 got it now for 3 weeks and has the latest software on it.

If the phone is not functioning correctly, as already suggested, it should be returned to a Nokia Care Centre for repair under warranty !
