Re-arrange Aperture bricks for split toning

Hi
Does anybody know if it is possible to re-arrange the control bricks in Aperture.
I'd like to know because I believe Aperture applies its affects from the top down (correct me if i'm wrong). If this is the case, i'd like to move the Monochrome Mixer so that it sits between the White Balance brick and the Exposure brick.
If my thinking is right, then it should be possible to split tone a b&w image by using the RGB levels sliders.
Just a wild thought! Hope someone can put m straight.

It applies them in the order they are executed by the user- AFAIK
If my thinking is right, then it should be possible to split tone a b&w image by using the RGB levels sliders.
This won't work if you're talking about the kind of split toning offered by ACR where the highlights are one color tone and the shadows are another.
You can really tweak out a B&W using the individual RGB sliders and the color sliders, but the color monotone is just mono.

I understand the use of the split tone (ST) controls in LR (1.3.1) but need some assistance with finding appropriate starting points for the hues. The reason is that I am colour blind and find it difficult to see the colour I am selecting on the narrow little sliders.

While I am talking about the selenium preset, I notice that it also changes the white balance and grey scale mixes along with the tone curve. I can understand why it does so but how does one choose where to start when one's colour discrimination is stuffed (that's a technical term by the way,
I have tried matching some of the effects using the ST panel and the colour-picker tool on my Mac but then have to battle with differing device colour profiles etc.
I also have PSElements so perhaps this may be a better place to do it, but I was hoping to stick to LR if possible.
So any suggestions gladly accepted.

One hint, would be to hold the Alt key while adjusting the sliders. This allows you to see the effects you are making to the whole image, rather than trying to view the tiny hint in the slider.
I do not do split toning, so I cannot speak further or more intelligently on this subject.

I've been using Aperture now for the past 7 months and really happy with it, however in the past two days any photos I download are heavily pixelated and blurry. When I download the same shots to any other program they are fine.

I've been using Aperture now for several months without any issues except for the last couple of days...when I now download my shots from the memory card the photos are heavily pixelated and blurry but when loaded to iPhoto they are fine.
Can someone tell me what the problem could be and how to fix it.

Is Aperture doing any processing? ("Window→Show Activity" -- anything there?)
Are the Images pixilated/degraded when shown in the Viewer as well as in the Browser? (Double-click an Image to open it in the Viewer.)
How 'bout at 100%? (In the Viewer, press "z" to zoom to 100%. The "z" key toggles the zoom.)
Does generating a new Preview remove the pixilation? (Select an Image in the Browser, hold down "{Option}" and click "Photos→Generate Preview".)

Arrange view in finder (split jpg from gif)

I have many .gif and .jpg files in a directory. How can I arrange that they are split up? Something like view->arrange->kind

Arranging by kind will work. Or else sort by kind. Either will work.

BUG: LR5 Quits when I use keyboard arrows to adjust saturation of Split Toning colors.

When attempting to adjust saturation of colors in Split Toning, LR immediately stops working. Specifically, when attempting to manually select a Split Toning color --> Click Color Box to open full range of Hue & Saturation options --> Click numeric box to adjust saturation --> press arrow keys on keyboard to adjust # up or down --> LR IMMEDIATELY LOCKS/QUITS.

Aperture asks for original serial number after migration to new MAC

After migrating my software and files from my iMac to a new Mac Mini. Aperture asks for serial number first time I wanted to use it. Will not accept the serial number from either my first, Aperture 2 version of my Aperture 3 upgrade. I believe I never had version 1 - can't find amongst my software collection. Website support doesn't seem to allow me to display the software dtails I have registered with Apple over the years. How can I get this information?

Try Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers and if that doesn't help see Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers
Apple support has been pretty good in the past suplying new serial numbers with the bare minimun of documentation.

Vendor Consignment for Split Valuated Materials

Dear All,
We have a scenario where in our material is split valuated,we have 2 valuation type import and Domestic, both the valuation type is being supplied by a single distributor, the price of the import valuation type is different from the price of domestic valuation type.
We are trying to configure consiginment process for split valuted material.While maintianing consignment info record, we are not able to maintian separate info record for import and domestic valuation type (since material /vendor/plant/purchase organization are same).Hence while doing goods issue using 201 K, the system is taking the price from the info record.Is there any solution available, to post the goods issue for import valuation type at a different price and domestic valuation type at different price.

How system will pick the info record price for movement type 201 K ?
As of my knowledge, system will create accounting entry as per the material price (MM03 - Accounting 1 view for the valuation type)
It may create problem for 411 K movement type, but not for movement type 201 K.
If you need to pick different price as per valuation type, then you can do this via condition table.

Any Way to Set Default Settings for HDR Toning?

I have developed a nice set of parameters for the HDR Toning feature and have saved them as Noels Defaults, but I don't see a way to make them the default settings for HDR Toning. Frankly I find the default color settings for the tool very garish. I suppose that's good, because it always reminds me that I need to select my own settings, but...
Can you suggest a way to make my own settings the HDR Toning dialog defaults, so as to save a step each time I use it?
My apologies if I'm being dense and missing something obvious.

Adapter Modules & split 997 channel reqd for splitting Edi and Acknowledgement

I am using PI 7.11 with B2B add-on installed.We will be using AS2 adapters ,as of now
configured file adapters in place of it.
This B2B scenario does not consists of Party because 1 sender and 1 receiver system is involved as of now.
May be client provides identifiers details and include party.
In my previous B2B scenario(PI 7.3) involving Seeburger , AS2 channel was configured with(image shown below)
SeeClassifier,BIC, message splitter modules and Split997 channel for splitting EDI PO and Functional Acknowledgement.
What are the adapter modules that will be required in case of B2B add on (PI 7.11)and does it requires
EDI separator channel for splitting EDI doc & Func Ack.What can be the other probable issues.
How we will monitor the messages and Ack once its implemented end to end?

Inbound Scenario configuration: (3 step)
1) Sender AS2 (EDI messages) -----> EDI separator receiver (no mapping required here; EDI separator is used to split bulk EDI messages and configure acknowledgements (997) if required)
2) EDI separator sender (with message type(eg.850),version and sender ID/receiver ID configuration; here X12convertor module is used to change raw edi into XML) ----> Idoc or any receiver channel (inbound)(here you have your actual mapping)
(if 997 is configured as requested in the first step; then you need to handle the 997 generated by EDI separator)
3) EDI separator sender (997 message type,version,reverse combination of sender ID,receiver ID) to Receiver AS2 ( no modules required pass through)
Outbound Scenario configuration
1) sender channel (say Idoc) to AS2 receiver (requires mapping)
997 file can be sent back by partners (EDI 997 as acknowledgement)
this will be taken care like any other inbound message) which can be then converted to SYSTAT IDOC or so to track the status of outbound message.
B2B status tab in PI monitoring helps you track acknowledgements

You wouldn't be adding it, you'd be replacing iPhoto with it.
It does all the jobs that iPhoto does, and then some. You'll also find yourself using Photoshop less.

If your answer is to maintain two material codes i.e. one for apple-America & one for apple-Europe then you are wrong. If your answer is Split Valuation, then you are right.!
Steps:
We have to activate split valuation if you want to use split valuation. But by default split valuation is Active.To activate the split valuation:
tcode OMW0.
To differentiate between material stocks, you must define valuation category and valuation type.
The valuation category specifies which criterion should be used as the basis for differentiating between the various partial stocks.
The valuation type specifies an individual characteristic of a partial stock.
Go to tcode OMWC, create global types, then global category. assign global types to global categ. and then attach them to valuation area(plant).

Split valuation is for Valuation Purpose only...
SAP does not support....Procuring same material with Diff. Split Valuation Type from Single Vendor is not allowed by SAP standard..
You cannot Maintain Purchase Info for Material which is having 2 Split Valuation type......with One Vendor......
Because For One vendor and One material combination, you can maintain One split valuation type only....

Unexpected error compiling the runtime metadata for Split-Join.

Hi Everyone,
We are getting below error while restarting the managed servers on Weblogic. We are having 6 managed servers in our cluster. In one of the application in OSB10.3, we are using SplitJoin to call third party webservices. The application is getting deployed properly, and sometimes on one of the managed nodes, we are seeing below error during startup. The servers are coming into Running mode as per the console, but in logs we are seeing the error. No services are accessible on that particular managed node. We have to restart the server and by luck, it will come up properly. This is inconsistent behaviour from the managed servers. Below is the stack trace from stdout files. Most 8.1 development was done with Workshop (the version before Eclipse integration). It is not set up to do Workshop Framework builds with Eclipse OOTB.
If you are going to use Eclipse, then I would guess that your builds would be best done using Ant or similar. Check out the wls web service samples that install with the product and see if you can use any of those as a basis for using ANT in Eclipse.
This is only theory, as I have not worked extensively with 8.1.
