Re-arranging the buttons

hello world.
I recently received the iPhone for my birthday in February. I'm not new to the "apple" world and I have done extensive research on my phone so I would know how to use it when I received it.
While looking on the apple website, I came across a feature where you can move and only use the buttons and applications on your iPhone that YOU want to...simply by touching a button for "x" amount of time and it would make them "wiggle" and then you can discard and move them as you please.
Well, I have tried this and it is not working for me what so ever. I NEED HELP!
If someone knows what to do, PLEASE HELP!!!

On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > About.
At Version, what is shown?
If not 1.1.4, with your iPhone connected and available in the iTunes source list, under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences, select Check for Update.

Where is the button to transfer sequences to the arrange window in Logic Pro 7's Ultrabeat?

Hi guys/gals,
I have a pretty old version of Logic, it's Pro 7. Anyway, I mess around with it from time to time and I am currently trying to program some drums using Ultrabeat, which, to be honest, I have totally ignored in the past.
I have created a sequence and I now want to place it into the arrange window, but cannot find the button which, from everywhere I have searched, should be in the bottom left of the plug in, near the pattern selector drop down. I have taken a screenshot of how my Ultrabeat looks. If you can find this mysterious button then please let me know, as it is driving me nuts! I simply cannot find it anywhere.

How to change the order of the buttons in MIDlet?

Hi everybody,
I need to put at the right side of my screen the button menu which includes �Save� and �Save Group� buttons and at the left side the button �Back�. I declared commends like these:
private Command backCommand = new Command("Back", Command.BACK, 1);
private Command saveCommand = new Command("Save", Command.OK, 3);
private Command saveGroupCommand = new Command("Save Group", Command.OK, 3);
and got the completely different order from what I need. I can�t change the order even if I try to change the priority of commends.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

You don't have any real control over the positioning of the Commands. The implementation decides where to put them. You can have some influence by using the command type and priority arguments. Usually type has more weight in that decision. For example, if a Command is of type BACK, then the implementation will usually do it's best to put it on the "negative" soft button (ie, the right soft button on Nokia handsets usually hold the negative commands).
So playing around with the Command types you'll probably manage to arrange those Commands how you want, but giving the appropiate type will ensure that they are mapped in a way that's closer to the phone's native UI.

The ALV Grid Control is a tool with which you can output non-hierarchical lists in a
standardized format. The list data is displayed as a table on the screen.
The ALV Grid Control offers a range of interactive standard list functions that users need
frequently (find, sort, filter, calculate totals and subtotals, print, print preview, send list,
export list (in different formats), and so on. These functions are implemented in the
proxy object class. You as the programmer have the possibility to turn off functions not
needed. In most cases the implementations of the standard functions provided by the
control are sufficient. However, if required, you can adjust these implementations to
meet application-specific needs.
You can add self-defined functions to the toolbar, if necessary.
The ALV Grid Control allows users to adjust the layout of lists to meet their individual
requirements (for example, they can swap columns, hide columns, set filters for the

How to Horizontally Arrange Radio Buttons

Is there a way to arrange radio buttons in form central horizontally, rather than the default vertical arrangement?

Add Item ~ single choice field ~ that will drop a couple of radio buttons in, stacked vertically ~ hover mouse over the right side dotted border around the whole element and you should see two short vertical bars appear, which indicate you can stretch the border to the right ~ left click and drag the dotted border to the right (allow plenty of space) ~ look at the 'Field Properties' on the right hand side ~ untick 'stack choices vertically'.
Hope that makes sense - it does work, honest, so if you have a problem it's my poor explanation, so come back to me.

Does Premiere Elements 13 have SmartSound? I can't find the button anywhere...

Does Premiere Elements 13 have SmartSound? I can't find the button anywhere. I am using Classroom in a Book Premiere Elements 11 to learn it as there isn't a CIB for PE13, so I know it's not ideal, but by looking up help PE13 mentions SmartSound but I still can't find it under my 'audio' panel.

There is no SmartSound feature in Premiere Elements 12/12.1 and 13/13.1. In those versions, you have Music Score under the Audio Tab in the workspaces.
Music Score is the same in concept as SmartSound (you can change music duration without altering the music arrangement), but is not SmartSound.
There are several places in the Premiere Elements 13 Help PDF where information is correct for other versions but not Premiere Elements 13.
Using video tutorials and books written for versions different than your own can get confusing. The principles tend to stay the same from version to version, but features
tend to get moved, deleted, changed from version to version. And, often the video tutorial does not
make a point of what version of the program is being used to demo the tutorial - assumption "same".
As a guide, if you are watching a video tutorial and the headers read
Quick and Expert - that is 11.

How come the volume on my ipod touch is turning up when im not pressing any buttons? any time i turn it down it always goes back up like im pressing the button!

i think i just need a new ipod. ive tried even turning up the volume and the button isnt responding. something is wrong with the button. there is also some minor damage inside the ipod i think as well, but im pretty sure my warrenty is up because ive had this ipod for so long. will i be able to send my ipod back into apple and get a new one?

How to populate the whole path of the button in a field when the button is clicked.

I have around 5 uploads in my file. I kept a hidden field on the header of the form. When ever i click on the upload button, the path of it needs to be populated in the hidden text field.
by using this.parent we can get the parent name of the element.
is there any method similar to the above one to get the whole path of the button????????

Try putting this script in the click event of the button

This ought to work using either FormCalc or JavaScript. I'm not sure from your description whether you will need to use the full path name for the hidden text field or use a relative one, but that's not too hard to deal with.

I get a tab opening that says that I have won and to click on the button to get my prize, I am unable to close that and therefore uninstalled Firefox... What is that all about? It appears to be malware.

The tab that opens does so in a second tab after the home page tab has opened, but it does not allow access to the home page tab, and it will not allow closing of the tab. It says that you have "WON", and you need to click on the button to collect your prize. It is clearly malicious software, but what, why and how to avoid it is not at all clear. It does not corrupt Internet Explorer.

If I toggle the button in the top right of the HUD it 'unlocks' and I can drag it to where I prefer -- at the left margin; (for over a decade) my dock has resided at the right margin so all my slider manipulation over countless editing sessions in Aperture has been ingrained to work at the left margin -- but, the vast majority of the time, the HUD overlaps the image I am editing in this 'unlocked' mode.
Every occasionally I enter Full Screen View and it positions on the left margin *without* superimposition...(!) My great joy is modulated into aggravation, however, should my tracking cursor drift all the way 'out of bounds' -- to call in the hidden pane of adjacent images sequenced in the library... This dramatically shrinks the Full Screen display and re-locks the HUD; if I toggle the switch to re-xpand the image it re-positions at the right margin!!!! I SOOoooooo wish I knew how to control the default 'locked' margin of the HUD in Full Screen View...

Possible to capture an image if the button on the cam is clicked?

Im testing JMF and wonder if anybody knows if it is possible to capture click events from the web camera? The web camera itself has a button made to capture images and I'd like this feature in my application. All I wonder is if it's possible to capture or in any other way access information when ever this button is clicked.

You could use linux easily.
Check dmesg, after you push the button.
Allyou have to do is capture the event.
In windows, you would probably have to do some jni.

Now if there are 10 user having the First_name as abc then there are 10 Buttons which has been displayed Now I want that If I click on the Button corresponding to the 3rd User then his all the details which was displayed on the previous page will be passed in the different editable text fields.
The major problen which I am facing in this is that as I am generating all these buttons dynamically & all the buttons have same name but all the buttons have the diffrent values, I am able the generate Different names to all the buttons dynamicall & pass their reference dynamically to the Workflow in a transiction condition dynamically.

if you want some default value in LOV. you go to edit list of value wizard-> UI hint->include no selection Item checkbox -checked.use labeled item first of list- and beside that put the label. but when you try to get value, it will show null.but you can manipulate in ur java , if it default value

How do I use the button states in an action script?

In my Captivate 8 project I use smart shape as buttons. The buttons have different images presented dependent on the state of the button. I have also created a simple action script that shows what happens when the button is pressed. When the button has been pressed the normal state of the button appear. I, however, want the down state of the button to remain visible util the user presses another button. How do I accomplish this? Is there variables for the buttons different state or how can I create that?

When you talk about 'actionscript' do you mean advanced or shared actions? You cannot write actionscript within Captivate, only Javascript. If you use advanced/shared actions they'll be converted on runtime to either Actionscript (for SWF output) or Javascript (for HTML5 output).
The states in shape buttons are the normal way buttons behave (not only in Flash). If you are indeed using shared/advanced actions, and you want the down state to remain until the next shape button is clicked, you'll have to go the way described by iFlashAppsToo. Create shapes that have the look of the down state, make them initially invisible and group all those shapes on one slide. Add two statements to the shared/advanced action (please do use shared actions, you'll save time):
Hide Group so that eventual down mimicked states on previously clicked buttons disappear
Show Im_Downx to show the down image for that button

How to Configure the Buttons on the QAF for Mobile UI Screens...

Hi Experts,
I am in a serious need of help from the experts who already designed the Mobile UI screens.
I have built a add-on where now we are looking this add-on to be available to use in mobile applications also. Now here what I did is I have developed OWL and QA floor plans which will be used for Mobile Only. This option of selecting only for mobile is available to us while we are creating screens. In this way I have designed the screens and attached them to the work center views.
These views are attached to the work center floor plan and this is been assigned to my user. When I tried of viewing the designed screens using my android mobile I am able to see the screens owl and Qaf as of designed, but now the problem is existing here.
When I am trying to perform one of the custom action which i have configured on the QAF floor plan the button which is configured with this custom actions is not visible at all. Not only this the standard action button on the tool bar of the Qaf like "Save" "Close" those are also not visible. I am not at all seeing any of the button on my QAF screens. With out these button I cannot go further to complete my process and complete transaction will not be done untill unless some of the custom actions which were configured on the screen. These custom actions are the action which I have declared in the custom Bo and developed with some code over there with the help of ABSL script.
I have followed the SAP 1402 documentation but there it is not clear how to do it. I have done every step of the document but no use with it. Please needed any other real time expertise help who worked already on this mobile screens.

Itunes 9 had application management for my Iphone, i can not find it in itunes 10 and a lot of the writing such as check for updates does not show up, only the button is there

How do I manage applications for my iphone in Itunes 10 like I used to in Itunes 9? Also it appears that since the last update many of the words on itunes itself are missing, i see the button but no writing beside it how do i get it back?
