Re-Authentication every 3-4 hours

I have A Cisco ISE 1.2
I have a rule for Machine Authentication and Rules for Compliant/Not Complaint , and Now it is working Fine
I am facing an issue that “ the user is authenticated and NAC agent detects his Privilege , the user working for around 4 hours then an automatic re- authenticate process is started “
And of course , during this repeated process he losing the connectivity , how we can increase the time or disable this issue ?

10.4.3 keyboard/network/ssh non-responsive every 7-8 hours

I updated to 10.4.3 (used the combo updater, have reset pram/nvram, run hardware tests, run disk utility off tiger dvd, and removed all hardware except apple keyboard, mouse, usb connection to my belkin 375VA UPS unit and speaker). Startup items - mysql, apache 2.
The issue is that every 7-8 hours the computer 'freezes up' to the extent that I can't ssh in, I can't access the web server and on the console itself I can only move the mouse and see the cursor move around the screen - the keyboard does not respond to input, and the screen display is frozen otherwise. I've tried unplugging the network cable based on something else I'd seen and no help there.
This is a machine that's on 24x7 (is my source control server) and I'd love any suggestions on how to get things working again. I was not having these freezes (with much more hardware connected) with 10.4.2.

Here's what I found. I went ahead and disconnected all usb connections except for the keyboard (direct to cpu) + mouse (connected to the keyboard. One crash in several days (instead 3x daily), but 'could have been' firefox related.
Then I reconnected my Q-Store 7 port usb hub (model QU2RCT7) and got the crash within the expected 8 or so hours. Kept it on for a while, kept getting the same behavior. Disconnected, and haven't had a recurrence since.

HT3275 How can I program the Time Machine to backup every 4-6 hours instead of hourly?

My Time Machine backs up every hour and when it occurs my Mac operating speed slows down to a crawl. Is there a way to change the settings so that Time Machine backs up every 4-6 hours or at specific times of the day, e.g. 6AM, Noon and 6PM?

That shouldn't happen, unless you've made lots of changes and have your Mac already pretty well maxed-out. Changing the backup interval is just addressing the symptoms, not the cause.
Check the size of your backups; if they seem much too large considering what you've done since the last backup, see #D4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting for some common culprits, and ways to find out what's actually getting backed-up.
If the sizes seem reasonable, see #2 there for things that may be slowing your backups down.

Why does my internet turn off every 2-4 hours

I have had this problem for 1 year now no ones ever helped me to actually fixed it.
Every 2-4 hours i have to restart my router or modem. I have tried doing the firmware updates maybe theres something wrong with the thing im doing with the firmware i've tried a different router and modem i have tried a new ethernet cord to connect my modem and router i have unplugged my mac and tryed just with my pc and same wit my mac turned off p.c. and left mac on. I have changed the screensaver settings. I have moved my modem and router away from any phones. Maybe not far enough away. I have tried changing the channel. I've been trouble shooted by some the highest apple people in the organization and that only worked for 3 months im not paying anything more. My base station router is still green when this happens. My modem isn't flashing rogers has never helped me enough to resolve this. I think i might have tried everything if you have any comments on what maybe i did wrong or if theres something i could do im begging this is ******* me

Does this problem happen even if you have your Mac connected directly to the modem? If so, the problem is most likely either the modem, the cable in the house, the cable between the house and where it comes from your ISP on the street, or between this last location and the ISP.
Rogers should be able to test this connection all the way to the modem. In addition, they should also verify that the output from the modem is consistent.

Spotlight on G5 spotlighting every day for hours

hi all,
I have installed Leopard 10.5.3 on my G5 2.3 dual (4 FW disks attached on it) and since then Spotlight searches for files every day for hours, on all disks, internal and external;
I really don't know what SL is looking for and why these searches are endless,
but it's so frustrating when I need to find a file because SLing is not available during its search;
I have the same problem with my MBP 15" Penryn 2.4GHz but only when external disks are on;
has anybody out there any idea about that? I wonder, is that normal function?

What malware was found by ClamXav? Most likely, it was Windows malware. Also, unfortunately, most likely it was Windows malware attached to e-mail messages, in which case deleting it from ClamXav probably corrupted one or more of your mailboxes. Assuming you're using Mail, you should probably rebuild all your mailboxes, by selecting each one, one at a time, and using the Rebuild command in the Mailbox menu on each.
Regarding Mac malware, you most likely have nothing to fear. There isn't much malware out there for Macs, and all of it is very rare. Of course, if you're actually using Mac OS X 10.5.8, as your profile indicates, you have fewer defenses than users of more up-to-date systems. For more on this topic, see my Mac Malware Guide.
As to the downloads, there are many things that could account for that. Jon P D gave a couple excellent possibilities. Regarding the wifi, if you're using a wifi router to create a network without a password, or with weak WEP encryption, you could easily have someone piggybacking on your wifi and using your bandwidth without permission. Lock down the network with WPA2 encryption and a good, strong password that people won't be able to guess.
Also, note that Mac OS X downloads updates automatically in the background, and there were a number of large updates this week. If you have a connection that only allows you to download a certain amount per month, you may want to turn that option off in System Preferences -> Software Update, so that you can choose when new updates are downloaded.

Linksys WRT54GS Ver 5 needs reboot every 10-12 hours after wiring it to LG BD590 Blu-Ray

Had this router hard wired to a desktop - everything has been fine forever. Moved it so I could hard wire it to the Blu-Ray player for watching Netflix, etc. Everything works. Except the Router needs to be rebooted every 10-12 hours. Unplugging it for 30 seconds works. The router seems to be working, but the wireless signal to the other computers in the house, although showing strong, will not connect to the internet, Router is getting its internet straight from the Comcast modem. I have the latest firmware installed in the router. Any ideas greatly appreciated before I throw this thing out.

Try to re-flash the firmware on your router.
Connect the computer with the Ethernet cable to the router.
Download the latest firmware from Linksys website and save it on your computer. Open the setup page of the router. Click on Administration tab and go to Firmware upgrade sub tab. Browse the firmware file that you have already downloaded and upgrade it on your router.
After upgrading the firmware on the router, it is recommended that you should reset the router and reconfigure it. Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure it.
Also try to change some advanced wireless settings on the router. Click on Wireless tab and go to Advanced wireless settings. Change the Beacon interval to 75, RTS threshold to 2307 and fragmentation threshold to 2306. Save the settings.

Aironet 1300 dropping every 36-48 hours, help please

Within the past month our 1300's have begun going down around every 36 hours. They are setup with a root bridge and 4 non-root bridges and are set to use the least congested frequency. I am interested in solving this problem as well as setting up the non-root bridges to act as APs as well as connecting some offices to our main network. Please help if you can! A

PC authenticating every few minutes

Hi
I should know the answer to this, but my head is overloaded.
I have several devices all windows based, authenticating to wlan every few minutes, but they are not moving, they are on the same AP all the time.
But when they do move, they behave the same.
currently running 7.0.240.0 highest we can go.
Any ideas?

Can you post the show WLAN and also maybe a debug if a client.
Could be many things: client drivers, have you tried removing the wireless profile and creating it again, maybe try a different authentication method, etc.

Disconnects every 2-3 hours

Been having this problem now for a few weeks after a period of nasty storms. Every 2 to 3 hours I get disconnected for about 30 seconds. Every day and night. It comes back up with no problem but it's been getting really annoying. The green light goes out and the one next to it slowly flashes and then it goes solid again and the light next to it comes back on. Using a Westell 327W. Any help would be appreciated.

Urgent----OC4J Hanging After every 4-5 Hours

I Have Developed very large ADF (ADF BC Swing) Application i.e. One ERP Product, It Contains 300 Application Modules (Forms). I deployed this Application as EJB Session Bean on standalone OC4J which is on Fedora Core 3. There is Very Huge Data Entry, Data Fetching through this Application. (Daily 100000 Records Insertions)
Now problem is, when I start OC4J it goes fine for next 4-5 hours, but after 4-5 hours it get hang or my application get hang .if I restart my OC4J then it will run fine for next 4-5 hours and after 4-5 hours again it hanging ,so in a day I have to restart OC4J 4 times.
So I can u tell me
1) Is OC4J not support such kind of large application?
2) Weather I have to go for Oracle Application Server?
3) Is there any kind of setting needs for same problem?
4) Is this an Operating System Problem?
5) Is this a Server Compatibility Problem?

I ran into a similar problem running an application server instance on a SLES 9 machine. My application was much smaller than yours and it turned out that I was forgetting to release a connection to an LDAP server from Java code. So, I suggest you have a look at all suspicious bits of code first.
Regarding the going to Oracle IAS, I would certainly advice you to do so.
Finally, a last piece of experience that I can share with you is that before getting SLES I used to run my application server on SuSE 8.2. While all the required packages were there the ias instance appeared to use all the available system memory. The issue was resolved until I finally installed the Oracle supported SLES.
If you like the Red Hat "look and feel" but still don't want to get a Linux that requires subscription like Oracle EL, why not try CentOS (www.centos.org) which appears to be a very good Red Hat clone.

Bluetooth stopping every 1-2 hours

When using my iMac 27, suddenly the Bluetooth will stop work, and both mouse and keyboard will simultaneously be lost. The IMac will report, that there is no connection to the devices.
Tried clicking the devices, and waiting for a very long time, but once it happens, only rebooting (by holding the power button on the back) helps. Connection is restored once it runs again.
The 1-2 hours later, the same...
I have MAYBE seen a connection between this issue, and when I am using a BELKIN Bluetooth device as the Sound Out on the IMac, but not sure.

Since your router is old and now adding more devices would require more traffic to the network. Hence upgrading firmware would be a good option.

My iphone 6 shows a red or black screen every half an hour or so.

Its becoming a frustrating problem. Whenever it happens it shuts off. I have already reseted all settings and it continues to do this. Will Apple replace my iPhone 6?

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPhone. If you continue to have issues with intermittently seeing a colored screen just prior to your iPhone restarting by itself, you may want to try the troubleshooting outlined below for a somewhat similar issue:
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
