Normally it requires me to do a disk cleanup in the recovery menu for it to work agai?It never used to do it - why does it now? Could it be a corrupt file? Also I recently bought a Zen traveldock. Would it have anything to do with that? Please help!

  • HELP! Creative Zen Tuch "Re-building Libra

My zen tuch was freezin up so I reset it.
and it gave me the "creative zen" screen for a while
and now it has a buncha papers with musical notes and says "re-building library"
im not sure weither to try restarting it again if its doing somthing importent?
    anyone know what this is?

How long has it been on that screen, and how big is your music collection (on the player)?
If it's still on that screen then that isn't normal (it's a few hours later now). When you restart the player, it's best to go into Rescue Mode to do a Clean Up.

  • Frozen Re-building Libr

    Hi guys, having problems...
Had my Zen Touch about a month and a bit now, and was copying a track onto it when it said "unable to create file, please restart player and try again," so I restarted Mediasource, and pressed reset on my Zen as it had frozen on the Docked screen.
Upon restarting it came up with the screen "re-building library" and it has been stuck on this ever since, and I can't turn it off- obviously using up the battery constantly.
The bar for loading the library continues to move across that screen until it gets to the other end, where it freezes and doesn't progress any further, and i've tried all of the recovery things- clean up, reloading firmware, and then rebooting.
I'm reluctant to format my player, as I have over 200 albums on, and wouldn't want to re-place them all on as it would take days, unless it was the only option left!!!
Have sent an email to Customer support, but haven't had a reply yet.
    Can anyone help...please!?

Unfortunately formatting is something I'm trying to keep clear of, there isn't anyway of being able to by pass it and gain access to the library on my comp to back it up is there
I haven't received an email back from Creative yet, I got an automated reply, but then replied back to that so it could go to Customer Support, but haven't heard anything as of yet. How long does it take them to reply... :smileyindifferent:

  • Eternal Re-building Libr

Hello! I have a Zen V and now it has a problem: every time I turn on the mp3 player it starts the re-building library and never finish this rebuilding! In fact the status bar of rebuilding library is blocked at a point and the mp3 player can't be turned off (for rebooting) and so I must wait that the battery goes down.
What can I do to solve the problem?

Does anyone has encountered this problem before?
I have no problem when building this on linux machine using gcc

libucb provides Berkeley Unix versions of functions that behave differently from the Standard C and Standard Unix versions of the fucntions that Solaris applications usually need. Many applications will not run if you force them to use libucb instead of the default libc.
You might not have the option, but my recommendation would be to avoid using libucb on any platform. Stick with standard-conforming libraries for portability.

  • Linux-libre kernel + b43 wifi driver

I decided to try the linux-libre kernel from AUR, and I ran into an issue with the b43 driver. My card is supported by the b43 driver, I have been using it without any issues on the vanilla kernel, but the linux-libre kernel hiccups with the firmware.
When I try to do something with my wifi card under linux-libre, it complains that it can't find "b43-open/unicode15.fw". I decided to copy said file from "/lib/firmware/b43/" to "/lib/firmware/b43-open/", but it complained that the firmware was proprietary. After doing a bit of research on Google, I came across several pages that I needed to use b43-tools and the openfwwf firmware. This combination gives me a 'unicode5.fw', not a 'unicode15.fw' (note that one is a 5, and the other is a 15, linux-libre asks for 15). I decided to try to copy it over anyway, without changing the name, and removed the proprietary file (unicode15.fw) from "/lib/firmware/b43-open/", but it went back to asking for "b43-open/unicode15.fw".
I did unload/reload the b43 driver after each firmware file move (modprobe -rv b43 && sleep 5 && modprobe -v b43). What I did not try was renaming 'unicode5.fw' to 'unicode15.fw', I didn't think that made any sense to try, since obviously they could be quite different and might cause problems.
I have not been able to find any other suggestions on Google, so if anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.
BTW, here's the lspci entry for my card (again, it works fine under vanilla kernel) (hopefully this forum supports code blocks, I don't see any buttons for it):
    02:00.0 Network Controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev 01)

You have a Broadcom card of core_rev 15 and you would need a ucode15.asm to build ucode15.fw binary. Unfortunately, it seems openfwwf project has been able to reverse engineer just revision 5 of these cards (ucode5.asm).
Please note s/unicode/ucode. ucode = microcode. Unicode doesn't make sense in this context.

  • Flash Builder crash with error log

I started a trial FB 4.6 a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday FB started crashing arbitrarily while simply using the editor. Error log entries (from workspace/.metadata/.log) like the snippet below immediately precede the crash. FB is open from anywhere between 10 seconds to 20 minutes before crashing.
Crashing: the whole Flash Builder UI locks up and needs to be force-quit.
Problems seemed to start after I did these new things; installed Android USB driver for my device, debugged on the device, and also tried the Profile feature. Doing those things seemed to work fine, and I otherwise don't know what they'd have to do with the message(s like the one) below. At crash time, the file noted is not there, instead there is single file:
    "...\.metadata\.plugins\com.adobe.flexbuilder.codemodel\SwcCache\swcPaths.cache".
However as I browse the .plugins folder looking for files related to this problem, I've seen folders/files suddenly appear and disappear, not related to any build process.
I've tried rebooting. I'm going to try changing workspaces. Here's a log snip:

Apparently related to switching workspaces... the error log identifies a path to an old workspace I changed out of weeks ago. I created a new workspace and moved the project (just the source, etc, not the settings) into it. been running fine for a while now... though funny how this problem didn't show up until yesterday.

  • Problem with logging in to apex application builder listener

I have problem with my settings and am posting this in hope that someone else out there had similar problem and solved it!
I am trying to use reverseproxy to access to our db through apex listener.
It's been all set-up and I can login to the application it self either through proxy or no proxy using the listener.
But when I try to login to apex application builder I cannot do it through proxy(with no proxy, it works).
It just refreshes the login page when I click login....
I tried to upgrade the listener to the latest v1.1(using 1.0.2) but it causes my tomcat to crash...
So solution i am looking for is how to make logging in work through proxy..
In the firebug it is showing that below and few other request status as 302 moved temporariry
    http://myserver:8080/testsin/apex/wwv_flow.accept
Where as with no proxy it is saying Found.....
    Any thoughts??
    Thanks
    Sin K

    Hello Sin K,
so proxy and Tomcat are located on different machines as well? Is the proxy able to commuicate with the Tomcat on the configured internal ports and is the proxy able to lookup the hostname you configured for the Tomcat?
For the connector, the proxyName and proxyPort should be the parameters the client uses to call APEX. So if your clients should call via http://proxyserver:8080/testsin/apex the settings would be
    proxyName=proxyserver
proxyPort=8080Reason for this is that applications (e.g. the APEX Listener) generate there URL references with these parameters.
But does your proxy actually serve on port 8080? And is that port accessible by clients? Do clients accept cookies from that server?
In my case, there is only one 302 which redirects to http://host:port/apex/f?p=4500:1000:sessionid which is correct.
If you look into your first post request in firebug, what's in the request header?

  • Template Builder (XML Publisher Report) for Open Office

    Hi,
Do any body has any idea, if can have template builder for Open Office also, My company has un installed MS Office from my machine, and they dont have license now.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nidhi Gupta

    Hi All,
I think Oracle can provide a BI Publisher Software for the Open Office, since the licencing cost for MS Office is very high.
"OpenOffice Writer" is a open source alternative to MS Word and can be used on Linux. If I am using Linux OS and have to work on BI Publisher templates then certainly I will have to install Windows or use WINE ( I donno how it works but heard of it)
Other Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, etc are platform independent.. then why only BI Publisher is limited for windows/MS Office.
    Tim,
    Can you please answer..
I think it should integrate with OpenOffice too!!

  • Report Generation for Excel does not work after using the Application Builder

I have a VI that writes data to an Excel file using the Report Generation Toolkit. I recently compiled the VI into a single Application (EXE) using the Application Builder. My VI runs its tests properly, but no data is written to Excel. What could be the cause? I don't receive any error messages.

    Hi
I usually build exe-files, which sometimes also have report functionality.
Open the Application Builder and check the following things:
    1. Add the following vis: _Word Dynamic VIs.vi, _Excel Dynamic VIs.vi They should be located in the directory ..\LabVIEW X.X\vi.lib\addons\_office in the llbs _wordsub.llb and _exclsub.llb (report1.jpg)
    2. If you use an Installer, go to the Advanced Settings. There you can select some things to include in the Installer. Check if "NI Reports Support" is selected. (report2.jpg)
These are the things I always do, if I need reports and I never had problems up to now. I made two screen-shots of these settings.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error 7, report generation toolkits do not work after building.

    Hallo guys:
    one problem. help!
I tried to build my programs with application builder, unluckly builded exe application does no work well as before, i checked some similar post from this forum, and added that NIReprot.llb in my project and rebuild, the problem still takes place, my program append some text, tables, and charts into a word template with that Report Generation Toolkits, but it always gives out error 7 and 'NI_Word.lvclass:new report subVI.vi -> NI_report.lvclass:New Report.vi -> Creat New Report.vi ->...'error information.
is there anyone can give me some clues about this annoying problem.
    thanks a lot!!!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

When you say "attached all this library to my project", it is not clear whether you answered the question about including the dynamic VIs in your build specifications. See attached image. You will need to select the files in your project and set them to Always Included. Have you done this?

  • Questions on Report Builder and Graphics Builder

    Hi there:
I'm currently using Report/Graphics builder V 6.0.8.11.3 NT version to create RDF and OGD files.
I was wondering with the following confusions:
    1) Is the RDF/OGD file that I create under NT plat form portable to Sun Unix?? (ie. would Report Server for Sun understand this NT RDF/OGD file?)
    2) Is/will there a Sun solaris version of Report/Graphic Builder?? And would RDF/OGD file be compatible for both NT and Sun plat form??
    Thank you very much.
    Mark

The answer to both your questions is yes. the rdf and ogd are portable to the solaris version of reports and graphics which you can download from http://technet.oracle.com/products/reports/ on the software tab.

  • "Build.xml file not exist"

    Hey Guys,
i am currently involving in a servelet project (RendreX). i want to install apachi ant as a prerequirement. i am using windows 2003 server. I already downloded latest ant version and apache tomcat4.0. Also i have set all the class path,ANT-HOME(C:\ANT) and other relevent paths. But when i run ant command in the command prompt(C:\ANT>ant)will generate error state that "build.xml" file can't be found. Have i done any wrong thing here? Can anybody give a way that i can easily install apache ant on winows.
It would be greatly appriciated if u can send me some advice to over come this problem.
    Best Regards
    Mohan

build.xml is the default build file assumed by ant. You have to provide a build file to control what you expect from ant to do.
