Dialpad is missing for calling phones although I have an active subscription to call anywhere in North America. I've had Skype for over 10 years and never had this problem before.
When I click the dialpad icon or click call phones from top menu, I get this page with no show of the dialpad.
However, I can call any phone numbers I've saved in contacts. I'm using Windows on a regular PC. Uninstalled and reinstalled Skype several times. Didn't help. Any suggestions?+-

No, this is for Skype-out, dialing land lines.
Actually, I just found that the item is in the Call menu. BUT, it is greyed-out until the call is dialed, and there is no longer any way I have found to make dial pad ON the default setting. It now has to be activated for EVERY call instead of always being in the pop-up menu at the bottom of the call screen.
This is absolutely awkward. I just had to redial a couple of numbers, because when I finally got done fumbling around to turn the damned dial pad on, I had missed which number in the spoken menu I needed to select.
SKYPE: Please (!) just leave the key pad always accessible on the call screen Skype-out calls. It makes no sense whatsoever to hide this frequently used necessity.

Thanks Uniqhorn but you missed my point - there is no option from the Skype home page and no links to progress to the page you are talking about - stretching the page or not. Take a look: http://www.skype.com/en/ No problem anyway as my dial page link has been working lately. As I said SOMETIMES it refuses to open and then the only option is to google the home page and THAT page is the problem with no links to take me to my page - or dial pad.

No problems finding a dial pad most of the time when I can actually get straight to the appropriate page when I click my destop icon BUT, if and when that page does not open I 'google' SKYPE and I get to the home-page that has EVERYTHING except a link to a dial pad (even after I've signed in) and even the 'site map' that has EVERYTHING still has no reference and no link to a dial-pad or any way to get on with making a call. So.... if the web designer can find a way to go on from that homepage to making a call then why can't I find it after spending half an hour going through all the links before giving up and re-starting my computer to get my original desktop short cut to work. My message to SKYPE is just change ONE of your several money-making links on the homepage with a dial pad LINK.

Are you talking about a lost or stolen iPad? If so, you will have had to install the Find My iPhone application and activated it on your iPad before it went missing. If not, even having the serial number will not help in locating it.

All I want is to send off the phone to be repaired ASAP, but insetad I'm wasting my time having to contact customer services for which none of them give me a clear answer, and have to create accounts and aliases on this site which I never intend to use ever again. It is not my fault or any other consumers fault for the majority of problems that arise in these products, it is the manufacturers fault for distributing such faulty goods. Safe to say, I never intend on purchasing Sony products again, nor recommend these to anyone.

Hi Chris,
actually the "Collaboration" link opens the portal component itself so there was not need for an iView here. The link is:

But you can also create an iView based on that component (com.sap.netweaver.coll.shared.ui.CollaborationLaunchPad) if you want to change the LayoutSet, or some other parameter.

You can definitely use PS Touch as a type of sketchpad or notepad but its features in that regard are kind of paltry compared to, say, Sketchbook Pro or ArtRage. You're pretty much limited to the tools I listed before.
PS Touch is more suited for image-editing (where it excels). If you're looking for something more suitable for sketching or drawing, consider the apps I've mentioned. (Note that Sketchbook Pro is available for both iOS and Android. ArtRage is available for iOS only but I know Ambient Design is working on an Android version.)

Can I disable iPhone dial pad sounds without using the side switch as my only option?

I think it is very big problem. I hate to hear beep sound when I am dialing a number. I just bought an apple 5, but I am going to return it because of this problem. I feel like when I purchase iphone I have to use my iphone according to whatever rules iphone creates. It is my phone and I should be able to change settings and use it however I like it. It is frustrating that for every simple thing I need to download an application and pay for it. Just to be able to make my dial pad silence, I need to go and buy an application. I don't really care about paying for this specific application, but this scares me because I think for every simple thing that I'm doing for my iphone I will need to pay. Even for a very basic setting option I need to pay.

Can't find devices in iTunes

I'm very new at using iPad. Help suddenly I hooked up my iPad to down load new. Songs. Now my iTunes can't find my I pad. I tried to uninstall and reinstall iTunes what else can I try..?

Find the Store menu at the upper left, and choose View My Account. After you log in, you will see a link for "manage My Devices."
If the store menu is not there, enable the menu bar via CTRL+B, and then you will see it.

No dial Pad

I just downloaded Skype on a Mac. I cannot find a dial pad or phone anywhere. I am using OS 10.9.4. What is the deal?

I AM A long time user of Skype. I always was able to place calls. Now I cannot. My computer power supply burned out during a storm. Since then I have placed a replacement password. Now every time I log in I get to all sort of set up, like video etc. I just want to place a regular call. There is no dialpad, no little phone in upper right, nothing that seems to apply. I have been asked to create a community. I do not want a community. I just want to place a fricking phone call.

Is there anyway to get the phone dial pad back to black. My daughter is visually impaired and can't see new dial pad. She can't see iTunes now also. I really hate what apple had done for those who can't see well.

That's easy. At the top of the logon, you see a title bar with a general version indication. At the most left of it, you'll see an icon. Click on that and choose about SAP logon and you'll get detailed info.

How do I set the default page when I select "+" for a new tab? Right now it defaults to Yahoo search and I want to set it to my Speed Dial page. I did have the default page set to Speed Dial but I can't find anywhere how I did it in the past.

You can set the homepage for opening tabs, but I can't find the setting for designating what page opens when I hit the + button on tabs.

Firefox '''does not''' come with a setting for a page that opens in a new Tab, the default installation always opens a blank page when you open a new Tab. Many extensions include a feature to open their choice of a webpage when you open a new tab, as does the Speed Dial extension which uses a "local page" internal to Firefox.
You need to figure out which extension has taken over that preference that Speed Dial needs to use. You didn't bother providing a Troubleshooting Information... listing as requested when you asked this question, but I can guess your problem is related wither a Yahoo extension or a Conduit / OurToolbar extension - as there is a plugin listed = Package Installer & Install Conduit.
