Posting the card numbers on a public forum is not a good idea for a start - I've asked the hosts to remove them. What happens when you try to redeem it ? And I assume that you and your iTunes account are based in the same country as that in which the card was issued ? Can't get 2 XBOX 360's to open NAT on new E1000

I'm at my wits end and about to take this back. I had a Linksys WRT54GS that worked PERFECTLY with 2 360's, but even after using my old settings, using portforward.com's settings, and trying something I saw someone recommend here for someone having the same problem with an e3000, I simply cannot get both of them to open NAT. Can someone help?

I'm having the same problem also. I have both Xboxs on static IPs and I put one on port forwarding and the other on DMZ but it doesn't seem to make any differences. It's getting me frustrated because I've tried everything and it seems to work sometimes so I backup the configurations, but the next day it goes back to strict.
I use to have a WRT54G v8 and it would work flawlessly, but this new E1000 model is giving me many problems.

Can't get screen saver to activate

I'm on an imac G5, running 10.4
Energy settings set to default.
Screen saver set to my iphoto library.
The computer display goes to sleep but the screensaver does not activate...
Can anyone help?

Actually Kenny, that's a better way to do it. The screen saver still uses the backlight while if you sleep your display, the display gets blanked and the backlight goes off, preserving the life of that backlight.
It is how I have mine set up and I recommend it to everyone. What's a screen saver doing other than showing a moving picture to prevent burn-in - which does not occur on LCDs anyway?

I can't get my iCloud to activate

WHen I Ste up my iPad 3 I was asked if I wanted to use iCloud. I decided against it so I skipped to the next stage of set up.
Now I want to activate ICloud it won't let me.
WHen I go to settings the iCloud symbol is there but not lit up like the rest of my apps,,I try to touch it but get no response

Settings > general > restriction, make sure you can make changes to accounts.

Carriers usually will unlock only for current or former customers in good standing (if they provide unlocking at all). The original owner of the phone would be the best one to request the unlocking.
The cost, if any, is determined by the carrier. It's usually free, except if there are remaining contractual obligations or unpaid charges, but some carriers will have a fee regardless.

How can i get an xbox 360 to connect to my time capsule via WIRED connection?

I have a Time Capsule and i need to connect my xbox 360 to it because my stepdad has the network in this house set up crazily. He gets mad if i ask him to change anything because it is how he wants it and it works with EVERYTHING ELSE. Here is what I would look into.
Use iCloud and photo stream to upload pictures taken with the iPad.
Find a remote log in utility, or web based app to then remote to your computer.
Download the files from photo stream to your time capsule.
As far as recommending a remote log in utility. I have not experience in that area and would need to do research my self.

After moving to spain from UK I can't get my phone to activate with my Spanish sim card

I currently live in Spain after moving from UK 3 months ago. On first arriving in Spain i bought an orange PAYG sim card inserted it into my Blackberry and all worked fine. I Recently changed from Blackberry to iphone5 whilst back in UK, on returning to Spain I went to the orange shop to change my sim to a micro sim.
The guy in the shop used a press to reduce the size of my sim and told me to insert it as normal. On doing this the phone will not activate, the phone isn't locked to a specific network so I'm now without a phone. Any ideas?

I bought my phone from an Apple store in Exeter so it is unlocked.
When I changed my sim in UK ( full size from Blackberry to micro for IPhone ) I had to register with Orange which involved a phone call then a 2 hour period with the phone off whilst it activated. In the Orange shop in Spain I was told I didn't need to do this.
I will visit the Apple shop in Alicante next week and see what they say if nobody can give me the answer.
I dont want to buy another sim if its unnecessary as I will lose my number and the credit on the account.

How can I get my phone to activate?

So I plugged my phone into itunes to update it to iOS 7 and it gave me an error and said that I had to restore my phone and try again. So I restored my phone and it installed but it won't activate. I can't seem to connect to the network. If anyone can help me that would be great. Right now I am just stuck with a really nice paper weight.

it seems like apple's phone activation servers are down right now under the weight of all of the traffic trying to go through them. you will be able to activate soon, once the servers catch up to the activation requests.

IF your imessage is saying waiting for activation then do this:
backup your phone to itunes or icloud.
then on your phone go to settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe your phone clean.
once the process is done, you can restore from the backup you made, then you should be able to activate your imessage.

I can't get face time to activate.

I cannot get facetime on my iPhone 4. I used to have it when I first got my phone but now I have nothing. It says it is on in settings but is waiting to activate.
Other people in my community have it available but not me.

I've recorded my voicemail but after four rings, the fax tone kicks in (the line is connected to a fax machine). Is there a way to have the phone line function as both a message repository as well as a fax line? Maybe by adjusting the number of rings before voicemail should kick in? Thanks!

This only happens when you have Speaker turned on in Voicemail. Turn off Speaker before lifting iPhone to your ear.

Can't get xbox360 and wrt110 to connect

In past have had Xbox360 working wired with WRT110. Had problems two days ago with my setup and had to start over. Now have one computer working wired and two laptops working wireless. Can't get the Xbox setup up again to work wired as it was before. Xbox says this setup won't work and linksys tells me it's a problem with Xbox or my provider. Everyone is passing the buck and they all seem to say that this can't be done. I guess I did magic the first time. Help

Open an Internet Explorer browser page.In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1
Leave the username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
Click on "Applications and Gaming" tab and then click on "Port Range Forwarding" subtab...
1) On the first line in Application box type in ABC, in the start box type in 53 and End box type in 53, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box...
2) On the second line in Application box type in PQR, in the start box type in 88 and End box type in 88, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box...
3) On the third line in Application box type in XYZ, in the start box type in 3074 and End box type in 3074, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box and click on Save Settings...
4) Once you return to the set up page click on the Security tab and uncheck Block Anonymous Internet Requests and click on Save Settings...
5) Click on set-up and change the MTU Size to 1452 and click Save Settings...
6) Goto the XBox Network Settings and IP Address Settings and select manual IP Settings and assign the following on your Xbox :
IP Address :- 192.168.1.20, Subnet Mask :- 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway :- 192.168.1.1...
7) Also assign the DNS Addresses on the Xbox :
Primary dns :- 4.2.2.2...Secondary dns :- 192.168.1.1
8) Turn off your modem, router, and Xbox...Wait for a minute...
9) Plug the modem power first, wait for another minute and plug the router power cable, wait another minute and turn on the Xbox and test it...it will connect...
