I have, over the last few days, been receiving the "enter password" popup when opening Outlook 2011 on my Mac Pro.. When I try to view my emails on the web I get the BT message to check/change password. Also to download anti-virus software to check for issues which I do. I have changed to IMAP and my ports as per instructions above. All to no avail. I am, continually being asked to change my password. Which I did yesterday, got in then the messages reappear. Help

You can't merge Apple IDs. You also can't cancel (delete) and existing ID, you can only choose to stop using it.
If your old ID was compromised and you can no longer access it, you'll have to contact Apple for assistance. If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

If you are only updating apps, that's normal Apps and other purchased media are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. You also don't back up apps or music to iCloud, the only thing backed up to iCloud is your app data, which is part of your iCloud backup by default.
Is your phone signed into the old ID in Settings>iCloud?

Here is my problem. I have multiple AppleIDs because I am stupid, but I only use one. I bought a new Macbook Pro recently, and when I went to buy something off of the App Store, I was unable to do so because I do not remember the security questions for my Apple ID. I followed everybody's directions to go change my security questions, but the caveat is that I cannot access my rescue email address anymore.

If you don't have access to your rescue email account (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and sign in. Click 'Edit' next to the address which forms the ID and enter the new address.
Then go to iTunes and sign out if necessary, then sign in with the new ID address. (The account and actual ID remain the same, you've just changed the login.)
If you have an iCloud account using the same ID, turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac if it is enabled, and sign out before proceeding. Failure to do this will cause problems.

Wow, 1yerdua. That's far too long to be having this messaging trouble. We want to find the resolution fast! If you turn off your Lumia's WiFi (Menu > Settings > WiFi), are you still able to access data-oriented applications like Internet Explorer? I cannot access my Yahoo Email account or my Netflix account using Firefox.

When I am in Firefox I cannot access my Yahoo! email accounts nor can I sign in to my Netflix account. These I can do in Internet Explorer (which I prefer not to use).

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Fallout75, good catch on the eXo plugin. To remove it, in the Finder click "Go" on the menu bar and pull down to "Go to Folder" and then type ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins
When that Finder window opens, you should see an "eXo" subdirectory. Just delete that "eXo" folder and iTunes should start without the error.
