Re-connecting a Bluetooth headset after being more...

I have a N80 and a Nokia HSW3 Bluetooth headset. It paired no problem. I switch on BT on my N80 1st, then switch on the BT headset and they connect no prob.
However if I leave the car for example leaving the headset swictched on in the car, when I return, it doesnt seem to auto reconnect to the headset.
Can this be done? do I have to do something to achieve this?
Please help, it says nothing in the manuals
thanks
My N80 is on Orange purchased in June 2006 firmware v 3.0617.06 03-05-2006

Can I connect multiple bluetooth headsets to my iPod at the same time?

After 1 or 2 reboot system I managed was enter my MacBook Pro my AppleID and it is connected I managed so to have the flow of "Stream Photo" from my iPhone 4 S to my iPad 2 on the MacBook. But incomprehensible how the function "find my Mac" not recognize the MacBook Pro in "iCloud.com" or App in the iPhone 4 / iPad 2. Thus I do little "see the iMac, iPhone 4 and my iPad 2" and not the Macbook Pro !?!

  • I have a problem in the Bluetooth headset after updating iOS 7

I have a problem in the Bluetooth headset after updating iOS 7

    Hi,
have a similar problem here. More specifically, I am using a Plantronics Voyager Legend (brand new) with my Iphone5 (iOS 7.0.2). All apps are working great with the headset, e.g., listening to music, normal phone calls, etc. No sound distortion at all.
When I use Skype (most recent version, which is 4.12.258) the sound is very distorted, like scattered. I also successfully used the same headset with a Samsung Galaxy S3 and Skype. No problems. So, I suspect that it must be the combination of Iphone/iOS7 and Skype which messes up the sound.
Does anybody else have the same problem when using that combination of devices and apps?
    Best,
    Kurt

  • Could anyone connect a Bluetooth headset?

I tried connecting a Bluetooth headset to my N200. It seems to install fine and I can connect/disconnect a Skype call from the earpiece's button, but there's absolutely no sound coming in or out of it. In fact, I can see no new sound devices listed for playing or recording.
I tried updating the Lenovo driver and then also installing the latest driver from Broadcom, but there's absolutely no change.
Could anyone get a Bluetooth headset to work right?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello everyone.
I finally solved this problem. The Microsoft guys gave me this program
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/AudioPlayback/es-es
You have tu run it while the headset is connected.

  • I'm trying to connect a BlueTooth headset to my Mac Mini. I can discover it, but soon after discovery it disconnects. Can't figure out how to reconnect. My only option seems to be re-discovery

I can discover the headset, but soon after discovery it disconnects. Haven't been able to figure out how to try to re-connect. And the help section titled "Use BlueTooth has absolutely no information on how to use it. All I can do is re-discover it. Every time I rediscover it, it disconnects shortly afterward. This headset works well with both my iPhone and iPad and has for quite some time. But it won't stay connected to my Mac.

Tried with another headset that works fine with iPhone and iPad. An LG HBS700. Same problem. It connects for maybe 10 seconds and then disconnects. So it must be a problem on the Mac. But this Mini is out of warrentee so taking it into an Apple store to get it repaired isn't a good solution. Maybe as a last resort.
Is there a way to select connect on the Mac? Everything else I've connected a BlueTooth device to has both a command for pairing and a command for connecting or reconnecting. I can't figure out how to select connect on the Mac.

  • Google Voice Won't Work With Bluetooth Headset After Jelly Bean

I am SO frustrated. I had no idea I was installing the Jelly Bean update when I updated the software on my phone. Note to Verizon Communications team: PLEASE do a better job of communicating significant software updates. I would not have installed Jelly Bean. I learned long ago to stick with factory OS on my phones.
Since the update, I noticed that I could no longer dictate texts and emails. Also, my call recording app no longer worked. I switched to Swype and it would work for a few minutes and then stop.  I could still use my bluetooth headset to make calls and S voice worked (although, like others here, I noticed that it's now worse--it doesn't recognize any contact names I request anymore). After trolling Android forums I found that the problem is with the bluetooth headset. You can still dictate when the phone's bluetooth is on, but when a device is connected, all bets are off.
I almost did a factory reset, but then I read that a hard reset will not restore ICS, nor did it resolve this bluetooth Google Voice issue for the few people who tried it already. In fact, resetting caused more problems (eg., more battery drain and removal of Adobe Flash, etc.).
Does anyone know how I can go back to ICS? Bluetooth and Google Voice are the two features I value most in my phones. This is a NIGHTMARE.

    rcschnoor -
The Bluetooth/Voice Search/Dictation issue is a valid issue for the OP, a valid issue for me and oh yeah, the hundreds of other people affected by the, "Google Voice Search stuck on "Initializing" bug filed here on the Google Android Project page.  Here is yet another reference to the same issue from Android Central.
The "Google Music freezing after Jelly Bean Update on Galaxy S3" is also a valid and documented bug located here also on the Google Android Project page.
So I ask, how does sharing with these people that do have these issues, and are affected by them, that you are not experiencing these issues help in any way?  Isn't that the whole purpose of a community forum to help others?

  • 6210 Navigator drops bluetooth headset after 30 se...

I have a 6210 navigator that pairs and connects just fine with a bluetooth headset, but after 30 secs it disconnects. I can reconnect, but again only lasts for 30 seconds. I tried 3 different headsets, so I know it must be a phone problem.
    Any ideas?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Problem solved.
Although I tried 3 different headsets from different manufactures, when I went to the Nokia Care Center and tried (and then purchased) a genuine Nokia headset, no more problems. I am assuming there must be some sort of proprietary software in the phone.

  • No audio input or output when connected to bluetooth headset

    I have a MacBook Pro 15" early 2013 (MacBookPro10,1) and a Plantronic Legend.
Since upgrading to Yosemite (I am not 100% sure it's related, it just didn't happen on Mavericks), I have the following problem: my headset connects to the MacBook correctly, but I don't see it in the sound preference panel, neither under audio input nor under audio output.
If I open the System Information, I can see the Bluetooth Headset being recognised as such:
         Major Type: Audio
         Minor Type: Headset
If I reset the SMC and repair the headset, it works again, but that's a hassle.
Anybody else having the issue and maybe found a better workaround?

Removing and pairing again the Plantronics Voyager Legend solves the issue. But it keeps on happening again. Really annoying.
I have firmware v106 for the Plantronics Voyager Legend, which is the latest at the time of writing.

  • Messages won't connect to bluetooth headset for sound output

I have a Plantronics Voyager Legend bluetooth headset that can pair with more than one device. I got it so I could switch back and forth from my phone to my MacBook Pro (running Mavericks) easily. It works great everywhere. EXCEPT, it won't work for Messages sound output. I've talked with three different Apple support people and with Plantronics. I tried a workaround I found elsewhere using Soundflower, but that did not work either. I've checked all settings, unpaired/repaired, shut down/rebooted/reset; looked for software issues; downloaded the current firmware; tried turning bluetooth off my phone to see if that was an issue; and probably some other things I'm forgetting; all to no avail.
    Any ideas?

    Following up on the above...
My S10-HD paired straight out of the box w/ my iPod Touch 2G; however, when I tried to pair it with my iPad 2, the iPad 2 would just search...and search...and search.
On page 7 of the S10-HD manual, you'll see a note saying, "To pair your headphones again, press and hold the "0" (power) key until the status light becomes steadily lit in blue".
This proved to be the key to getting the S10-HD to work with the iPad 2. The S10-HD needs to be "off", then you'll have to press and hold for around 7 to 10 seconds.
Furthermore, it appears (from my own testing; your results may differ) that the S10-HD can only be paired to one device at a time. That may sound obvious, but what it means is that you'll first have to turn off Bluetooth on the paired device with which the S10-HD is currently connected, then connect it to the other device with which it is already paired. (Kind of a pain, but I can live with it.)
Also, if there's anyone considering the S9-HD or who's had an S9-HD fail because of sweat incursion (i.e., you use it at the gym, etc.), Motorola is offering a warranty upgrade from the S9-HD to the S10-HD. What you need to know is: (1) The S9-HD will fail from the least bit of sweat entering the unit through the speakers; and (2) The S9-HD sounds better than the S10-HD (a lot better...it's a tradeoff you have to be willing to live with if you want these for exercise). To get the S10-HD if you've experienced prob's w/ your S9-HD as described, call Julie Scofield in the Consumer Advocacy Office at Motorola's Corporate Headquarters: (847) 523-5852.

  • Can i connect to bluetooth headsets to a mac mini?

I am trying to connect two motorola H730 bluetooth headsets two a mac mini for video presentations.  Basically what i am doing is teaching two different groups of people in two places using one computer. Is this possible?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
My back up plan was to connect each motorola H730 to a mac mini and an i mac, and treat them as two seperate computers for each location.
Hopefully i was able to articulate what i am trying to do as i am barely able to understand it myself.
    Thanks.

Ahum... You will have client again and it is much easier than you think it is.
I did want to upgrade to OS X Server (Mountain Lion), but that does mean I first had to install Mountain Lion. At this point there was no server application any longer as everything from Lion Server will be archived.
If you do not want to upgrade to OS X Server, just follow my upgrade path, but stop before downloading the Server app from the App Store... Simple...

  • Apple Bluetooth Headset pair with more than one phone?

    HI there,
Is it possible to pair the Apple Bluetooth Headset to more than one phone, obviously not at the same time. (I have an iphone and Sony ericsson phone and need to use it with both.)
    Thanks in advance for help.
    Regards
    Nick

unlike some of the sony ericssons, the apple headset can only be paired with one phone at a time. that doesn't stop you from repairing it when need be, however...

  • Used to be able to connect to bluetooth headset but now can't?

    Hi,
I have an iPhone 4 and a jabra headset.
As it says, I was able to connect them up until about 2 weeks ago (not entirely sure as I don't use the headset every day) but now I can't?
The phone can see the headset but just wont connect.
I keep 'forgetting device' and then getting the headset into 'find' mode, then I put the password in when the iPhone wants to pair and then it just sits there trying to connect but doesn't.
Has anything changed on the last update or the push to fix the alarm?
Or have I switched something off inadvertently?
    Hope someone can help.
    Thanks
    Pete

    Hi Traveller,
Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I don't have that problem as my phone just wont connect to the headset so I haven't got the option to switch to it when I have an incoming call.
My main issue is that I had no problem at all a couple of weeks ago, it worked fine with no disconnection's and I was able to use it at my desk whilst doing other stuff, very handy. Now it just wont connect to the headset although it can see it, it just hangs whilst trying to pair to it?
TBH I really like the phone, it's my 1st iPhone and I'm glad I got it, once you accept that you can't just bluetooth pics etc to a friends phone (non iphone) the rest seems really good. I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with yours.
Thanks again for your reply tho.
    Kind regards
    Pete

  • ITunes starts up whenever I connect my bluetooth headset

I am using bluetooth headset to communicate on Skype. Whenever somebody's calling me, I turn my headset on and it will automatically connect to my MacBook. Every time, however, it will also automatically start iTunes and begins to play. I don't want this behavior, since instead of listening to music I would actually want to talk on Skype. How can I change this?
Possible explanation to this could be that headphones may send "Play" button message to the computer once connected, since this is same button that is used to turn them on/off. I am not sure however, if they actually do send this button. But in case they do, how can I disable iTunes startup on Play button? Is there are an official way to do it or should I really go with something like this: http://superuser.com/questions/31925/stop-play-pause-button-opening-itunes-in-sn ow-leopard/39390#39390.

Does anyone know how to keep iTunes from launching when you turn on your bluetooth headset?  It looks like this question remains unanswered and I am really interested in a solution as the default behavior of launching itunes just because I enabled a bluetooth device is extremely irritatiing.
