Please help ...I want to create a custom group with the following attributes.
1) Contains all devices.
2) I want to be able to exclude specific devices if required.
3) I want all devices to be included automatically in the group upon being added to Spiceworks and to be able to remove them later.
I know there is already an All devices group but I don't want to exclude devices from that because then it would then not contain all devices.
I tried creating a custom group then adding adding the All devices Group to it but it didn't find any devices.
What am I doing wrong? Any help much appreciated.

How to create a group of devices in MARS

Hi folks.
I have quite a list of devices which MARS pulls syslog from and the client's security policy requires to run periodic queries against those devices (they are 871 routers). Is there any way to create a group of devices and add it to the "Reporting devices" instead of manually checking every router.

I'll try to be more detailed. There's a custom rule which is created to run a query for a specific event type. The query is run against many devices and the list of devices added to MARS earlier is quite big. So when you configure the rule at "Reporting Devices" section there is a limited list of devices (see attachment). I wish I can have a custom device type which will include all devices in question.
Plus, why there's no "Select All" button for the right pane. This would be quite logical once you have a list devices showing in your right hand pane. Instead of going through all of them and click each one clicking "Select All" would be nice.

I need to create custom groups

In order to minic the income statement, I need to create a custom group of account numbers, often out of sequence of a simple list of accounts. Thus, for accounts 1 thru 7, my goal would look like this:
Income Accounts

2
4
7
Subtotal Income
Expense Accounts
3
5
6
Subtotal Expense
Total Net Income/Loss
Is there a way I can do this in Crystal?

Try to insert a group on account field and in group option select specified order and add new item with name "Income Accounts" and the condition is like 1,2,4,7. Add another item with name "Expense Accounts" and the condition is like 3,5,6. If you have any other accounts then it will be grouped with name "Others". If you don't want the "Others" group then go to options and check the option discard all others.

How to create Customer Group in CRM and use reminder script

Dear Sir,
I would like to set the group of customer in CRM , Such as , customer 1 is in Group A , Custoemr2 is in Group B.
So, in Interaction Center : CIC0 , I will do the reminder scipte, there script for Customer Group A , anothere script for Customer Group B. How can I do that?

define the variable using transaction code CIC2
then assign that vaiable in text using transaction code CIC9
then assign the text to reminder scipting using transaction code CIC1.

How to create playlists on all devices from a single shared iTunes music library?

i have an iMac. my kids each have their own iMac. my wife has a PC. all three of their devices can "see" my shared iTunes library on their computer. all three of those devices can play my shared iTunes library on their computer. BUT, those other three devices cannot use the songs in my iTunes library to create their own playlists and they also can't drag playlists on my computer into their playlists.
we all share one iTunes account, so i want them to be able to do more than simply play the songs from my iTunes library on their computers; i want them to be able to put their purchases on their iPhones, iPods, etc.
help appreciated in advance.

Without modifying the Table Interface I solved my problem.
Earlier I mentioned that the exceptions were not highlighting when created in BEx. the reason is I gave negative % range -10 to -1000.
But when I changed that range as -1000 to -10, It worked fine. I created the same exceptions for all the 7 queries in BEx. So all those execeptions are automatically highlighted the result in Portal.

Create mail group from recipients on specific email

I would like to be able to create a mail group from the recipients of an email, avoiding having to add each individually to a group. Some are in my address book, others are not. Is there a feature or another way round this?

How to format data for a custom group

Hi all
I have a pivot table with Actual and Budget as columns and some accounts in the rows. Since I'm using the account hierarchical column, I created custom groups for the accounts using the Selection steps pane. For example, I created a new group called Profit to combine 3 different Profit accounts and display one Profit line.
Now I want to format the data for the Profit group. I right-click on the Profit group, choose to edit the group and click on the Format button on the bottom left corner. I add some formatting, e.g. borders. When I now view the pivot table, borders have been applied to the label of the group - so the word Profit is now bordered. However, the values in the Actual and Budget columns do not have a border. Don't know what I'm missing, but I want both the group label and the values to be formatted the same way.
How can I apply formatting to the data/values for the custom group?

Yeah tried that already, it formats the entire column whereas I need just the values for the Profit row to be formatted. Seems it is a limitation only when using custom groups?

I am a freelance deisgner with a Individual account through Creative Cloud. If Iwant to create apps for all devices, not just iPad, through DPS what do I need to do, or is this possible with the set up I have?

CC accounts provide only Single Edition for iPad. For any other device

Creating a User Group to publish to all devices in BES... can it be done?

I want to be able to create a contact group to send a text message to all members. I see where I can manually add a group in my BB device and add contacts. Can I do the same from the BES Manager and deploy to all devices. There is an option to create groups, but will it sync or be available to the device on a lookup?
Unfortunately, the devices do not sync to the mail system (Groupwise) address book. There are some customized ways to do this, but nothing that is supported by RIM and Novell.

Sorry, you can't (without copying text from a browser).
Part of the problem is that every browser renders text differently.
And part of it is that many browsers currently render with an anti-aliasing style that Photoshop doesn't support (color edges).
Then there's the lack of kerning in browsers and ....
We've been thinking about how to replicate browser font rendering, but it's not nearly as easy as it sounds.

i'm trying to create DiscountGroups for Type Customer Group in developtmnt side in sap b1. i already succed to create Discount Group for Type Specific BP as you can see in the code i wroe below:

but i don't succed to find the di object that give me the option to create DiscountGroup for Customer Group ( not for specific BP).

Ship to party is not available in account group while creating Customer Master

Hello All.
While creating customer master in account group there is no SH(ship to party) what is the purpose of it . I can see PY BP but not SH (XD01). We always use Sold to Party but i have seen Payer and Bill to party as well while creating customer master . Just got confused why we select such options when everything comes under sold to party.
I cannot see SH while creating customer for the first time is it necessary that SH should there while creating customer master.

please do assign ship to party to account group .
SPRO --> S&D --> BASIC FUNCTION --> PARTNER DETERMINATION--> SET UP PARTNER DETERMINATION --> FOR CUSTOMER MASTER -- > A/C GROUP - FUNCTION ASSIGNMENT
Here assign ship to party(sh) to your account group.
Now you will find sh in customer master.

i have scenario where i want to create customer of type <b>CONSUMER (account group 0170).</b>
i have seen BAPI's, BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA etc but it asks for reference customer number with sales org. But in case of CONSUMER there is no sales organization.In this case does anybody have solution for this or only BDC is the solution.
