Re-Download iTunes (11.16.3) Purchases

Where would I go, and what controls would I use, to re-download iTunes purchases (I'm using the recent iTunes update 11.16.3)? Will I see purchases prior to this version of iTunes? (or iCloud?).

When I deleted the episode it became hidden from myself and I assume from iTunes

Why do I have to download iTunes in order to buy a gift?

From the main iTunes Store page, when I click on either "Buy a Gift Certificate" or "Set up an Allowance," I get a page saying, "Cannot detect iTunes on your computer."
Can someone please explain to me why I have to download iTunes in order to purchase a gift for someone else?? I do not want iTunes, do not need iTunes and do not own any iPod products. I merely want to purchase a gift certificate or (preferably) an allowance for my grandson.

I limit on how to gift money has no correlation to the player being bad. Ipods remain the most user friendly devices available. I looked at most before purchasing one myself.
Don't know what the issue is with getting a gift card at a store. I have always made iTunes purchases from a balance created by entering the cards. That way I keep my spending down to what I can afford instead of charging.

I deleted iTunes from my PC, is there any way i can sync my phone to a newly downloaded iTunes without losing my music that wasn't purchased from iTunes?

BACK-STORY
I recently was given a new iPhone 4S from the Apple Store, I synced it to my PC when I got home and got everything back.I had to uninstall a download of windows 8.1 back to the original windows 8 in order to install an anti-virus software. The only way to uninstall Windows 8.1 is basically a factory reset, by doing so I lost everything that wasn't saved in cloud or external drive.I downloaded iTunes again, signed in and the only thing I could find was the music that I purchased from iTunes. I don't want to connect my phone to the iTunes I just downloaded,because I think I'm going to lose all the music that's already on there, minus the music I bought from iTunes. It's a lot of albums and it took me a while to collect them all too.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH PLEASE
Can I transfer the music on my phone to some type of storage?
USB memory drive
Cloud ex. Skydrive, Google Drive, Dropbox etc
Store somewhere on my PC. (I know I can't sync from my iPhone to iTunes.)
If it is at all possible to store the music that's already on my iPhone using another method,such as the ones I've mentioned or haven't,can I then transfer it to iTunes?
If there is no way to save my iPhone's music library, then when I rebuild it is there a way to store it, that if the same thing was to happen I wouldn't have to go through this process?
Also, any other tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tigon's already got you covered here. But I'll chime in with some English localisation advice.
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

If I open up the iTunes app and select "purchased > music > not on this iphone" it tells me "All of your available music has been downloaded to this device." However, my purchases are not yet downloaded to the iphone and not available to download. If I go to "purchased > music > all > recent purchases" it will show me the purchases that were most recent the last time I synced my phone, but not the purchases since then.
Any thoughts on how I can remedy this and make all of my purchased music available on my phone without requiring syncing?

So I have been searching the iStore for Airplay and I find lots of information about what it is, but nothing about how much it costs, how/where to buy it, etc.?
Fortunately, AirPlay does not cost anything as it is a streaming protocol used by Apple. Currently, the AirPort Express and Apple TV are AirPlay-ready. A number of other companies, like JBL, iHome, Denon and Klipsch are also rumored to be working on AirPlay versions of their products.
Your other option would be to get an AirPort Express and connect it to your Onkyo analog or optical digital audio input and stream from iTunes that way. I currently do this with my 10+ year old Harmon Kardon HT receiver.

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.

Why can't I download entire albums from my purchase history is iTunes on my iPAD?

'The New IPAD'I want to download music from. My PURCHASE HISTORY in ITUNES onto my NEW IPAD. I would like to download an entire Christmas ALBUM by various artists! Now it is very tedious going into each of the 83 artists and downloading one song! WHY CAN I NOT DOWNLOAD (OR VIEW) ENTIRE ALBUMS OR EVEN SEARCH ALL MUSIC WHILST IN 'PURCHASE'! It seems like a major design floor from apple and as I have searched the Internet for solutions it seems I may be the only one!!! PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!! THANKS JJ

If you have Not On This iPad selected at the top middle of the Purchased tab in the iTunes app, then tap on All Songs at the top left of the screen and then tap on 'Songs By Most Recent' at the top right and change it to 'Albums By Name' - does the album that you want to download then appear as an album on the right-hand side of the screen ? If it does then tap on it and will hopefully download the whole album.

Downloaded ITunes 7.0.1 and now won't allow me to update purchased music

My last post was extremely confusing so I'm trying to make it a little clearer. I downloaded ITunes 7.0.1 last night and after I did that I updated my ipod. As soon as I tried to do that, I got an error message saying "some of the items in the itunes library, including "do i make you proud" were not copied to the ipod "colleen c's ipod" because you are not authorized to play them on this computer. There are 26 total problems."
I have purchased 26 songs from itunes so its all my purchased music that will not update. I did an ipod restore and it came up with the same error message. Please help!

Ok sounds like one of two things happend here
1. iTunes lost its activation during the update. Try clicking on one of the songs in iTunes. Will it play them? If so they this is not the issue. If not it should ask you to provide the user name and ID for your account to activate that copy of iTunes.
2. The other thing that may have happened here is that the iPod was connected to another computer and synced with another instance of iTunes. If this is the case then the iPod will only sync with that computer. You will need to delete the songs off the iPod and reload them from iTunes.
NOTE : DO NOT DELETE YOUR SONGS OFF THE IPOD UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU HAVE THEM ON A PC SO YOU CAN RELOAD THEM ON THE IPOD. Once the music files are lost they can not be replaced.

If for some reason you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you can redownlaod some itunes content in some countries:
