Re-Download of Elements 12 for Mac
Hi,
I purchased Elements 12 for my desktop PC running Windows OS. I recently bought a Macbook and have tried logging into Adobe and downloading Elements in Mac format using the Macbook but I can't get passed the input serial number section.
Is it possible to use my serial number from the Windows version of Elements I bought to download a Mac version aswell or do I need to buy a whole new version of Elements 12?

Unfortunately, for one of those mysterious adobe reasons, download serial numbers are single platform, while the boxed versions of PSE come with serial numbers that work on both platforms. You could try contacting adobe. I'm not sure they'd do anything for you, but at worst all you'd lose is the hold time, and you never know.

Problem installing downloaded Photoshop Elements 10 for Mac
Just bought this online and downloaded but for past two days having problems on my Macbook Pro 13 running 10.7.3. After FIRST backing up my HD and formatting to non-case sensitive (what?? why did I need to do that?) then reinstalling.... I get this error:

I must say the Adobe site does not appear very user-friendly when it comes to support and after downloading the "advisor" application it wants to send me to Windows support suggestions.

I plan to download premiere elements 10 for Mac. I am currently running a project in elements 9.
1. Can I complete my project in 9 or will there be a conflict with 10 sitting there?
2. Does 10 for Mac have chroma key now?
3. I have read about installation issues with the Mac version. Are these resolved now?
ThanksInstalling version 10 on your computer will have absolutely no effect on version 9. They work in parallel.
And, no, Chroma Key has still not been added to the Mac version. The same effects and transitions that weren't include in Mac version 9 are omitted in version 10 also.

As I say in my books, however, the Videomerge effect does an excellent job doing the job usually done by Chroma Key. -
Can't find download diver for Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac
Hi there. I own a hard disc of Elements 8 for Mac, but our new iMac doesn't have a disc drive. When I went to go download a driver from Adobe, it says that it doesn't have one for Mac. Surely this can't be the case, where there exists such a thing in hard copy form?
Also, if I need to, how would I go about reassigning the license to this new computer? (We had installed it on two of our laptops, so I'm not sure how many licenses we had to begin with)

Downloading the trail version of Premiere Elements 10 for Mac on my Windows PC
How can I download Premiere Elements 10 for the Mac on my PC? I have a very fast connection on my PC and would like to install Premiere on my Mac. Why do we need the download manager and why do I need to install excessive Adobe software when trying to get the trial version download?

I recently purchased Elements 13 for Mac-OS and cannot download N-OS and cannot download NEF-RAW files taken on my Nikon D5500. The model is not listed among those supported by Elements, but the D5300 is, which is nearly identical. Is there any quick fix?
What is N-OS?
For the camera raw problem, every new camera has its own raw format and ACR must be updated to include it. That hasn't happened yet for the D5500, so you'll just have to use the Nikon software till Adobe gets the info and releases an updated version of ACR. It's not unusual to be in your situation if you buy a camera model that's only been out a month. You just have to wait a bit. -
Where can I get a copy of elements 8 for mac
Suddenly, when I try to open Elements 8 for Mac I get the message, "Licensing for this product has stopped working." I tried repairing it using Support's nine suggested solution. None worked.
I no longer have my original DMG file I downloaded (don't ask me why). I do have the serial number in my Adobe account so I can install and run another copy. But, I need a copy. Where can I get one without paying a second time for it?
I'm happy with PSE 8 and feel no pressing need to upgrade. I just want back what I had before this sudden development.

TerryI really appreciate the link. Unfortunately, it says a copy is no longer available for Mac OSX. Do you know if I can still get one somewhere else from Adobe? It's their product that failed me. I'm going to switch to Acorn, a nice low-priced full featured PSE alternative. I already use Lightroom for my photography but need graphic design capabilities for my website, business cards, etc.
