Re: Dragon Gaming Center not working

I installed the two AP on my laptop(not GP60) and DGC is still working fine. Maybe some files required by DGC were removed by the software "Your uninstaller"?? Can you check event log if there are any errors?

  • GT70 2QD - Dragon Gaming Center not working

    Hello,
Just recently purchased this laptop and did a windows update.  Now the Dragon Gaming center is no longer working.
Simple pop up message states Dragon Gaming Center has stopped working.  - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I tried to update the program by visiting the MSI website and downloading the utility program, but that was unsuccessful.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

HI CHC, sorry for the lacking info.
MSI GT70 2QD (best buy has it as 2293)
    Win 8.1
This only began after an update I did prior to 12/14/14.
Before the update, it was working fine.
    Thanks
That's great! You know the exact date. You could try to remove all the hotfixes installed after that day. Do it one by one until you find out which hotfix causes this problem...
Or you can try to restore system back to the restore point prior to 12/14/14. That is faster.....But we will not know the suspect...

  • Dragon Gaming center not Installing

I went to go update it, but when i run it now i get a message of " The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occurred in the application at location 0x951e606c.
    Any help is appreciated.

    How about this solution?

My suggestion is to make sure you have completely remove old Dragon Gaming center from Windows control panel before you install new version.  And better to get Dragon Gaming center from the same model name web page.

  • Dragon gaming center issue

Hi, i'm expecting some problems with Dragon gaming center. I have an gs70 2pe stealth pro (spanish version) and since yesterday Dragon gaming center is not showing any comsumption and temperatures data as you can see in the picture. Would apreciate some help over here, thanks!

Sure, I am certain it most likely worked at one point while it was being configured based on the dates of the files. When I realized this I immed realized it was not something I had done after it was shipped. No biggie.

  • Dragon Gaming Center/Audio Device No Sound

Hi there I'm sorry I'm new to the forum and I'm not certain if this is the right location for this post.
    I have an MSI GS70 2QE running Windows 8.1
1)I was installing drivers and the next day I got a red x on my speaker icon and suddenly no sound. Sound works when i plug the hdmi to the TV but the realtek hd audio driver is now hidden and shows this error code. Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45). When I return to the states I'll be sending it to MSI to get fixed and I'll use an external audio card until then but this leads me to my current problem.
    2) After reformating and reinstalling the drivers Dragon Center Gaming won't start. I've tried upgrading to Net workspace 4.6 RC and reinstalling the Intel Management Firmware Update driver (which also doesn't update btw) but no good. Dragon Center worked before the format but after so many formats for the first issue i'm frankly reluctant for another. Here is the event viewer log:

Where did you get your drivers and utilities? Did you get them all from MSI global website?
Yes, From the Support Page of the MSI GS70 2QE.
I also tried downloading the Dragon Gaming Center updated version from the GT Dominator and Realtek Drivers from Realteks page

  • How to stop Dragon Gaming Center's auto-start?

Dragon Gaming Center is a good monitor, but i only want to start it before gaming. i cant find anything about Dragon Gaming Center in msconfig.exe and services.msc, but it already can auto-start. How to stop it?

Nevermind, found it and fixed it.
After some googling around further   I found this page which said it was started by a scheduled task. ( second result was shouldiremoveit site, but I can't post external links here )
So I went to taskscheduler and found it through the active task list at the bottom. (make sure you run it as administrator if you want to change it)
It is called "MSI_Dragon Gaming Center" and engages at logon. So I thought, "Well, why not simply disable it". Well, as it happens, the taskscheduler gets a fit and looses it's marbles (seriously! scheduled task lists seem to get flushed) when you try to disable it (right click on it for context menu) because somehow it was assigned by MSI to be done by an incorrect user, named "User" or "Users". I can't remember exactly anymore. The former does not exist by default so some MSI dev might have forgotten to replace  a systemvariable reference. The latter is a user-group, not a user! It may have caused the fault because I have a dutch language pack, and that group is named differently on my system. It's aka "Built-In\Users" in english. Anyway, correcting this was the fix that allows it to be disabled/edited.
So, I opened the properties of the task (again right click for context menu) and changed the executing user to my personal useraccount. When that succeeded I was able to disable the task succesfully, and it didn't start at  login anymore.

  • Dragon Gaming Center – an introduction

Dragon Gaming Center is a nifty tool to set a bunch of settings that are available on the G series MSI Notebooks. The idea with this article is to break down the settings and explain them.
The first thing that meets you when you launch the Dragon Gaming Center is the System Monitor screen:
It does pretty much what the name says – it gives you system parameters in real-time, such CPU load, RAM use, battery status, etc. You can also switch SHIFT profiles and monitor your temperatures and network usage.
Screen 2 is the Utility screen – from here, you can launch applications, with the ones you see in the screenshot are preset. In addition to these, you can add your own applications.
Instant Play comes with four tabs – the first one is ”Instant Play”. Here you can assign the P1 key shortcut to launch a specific application or game.
Tab 2 is Display & Audio, where you can adjust speaker volume and microphone levels, as well as display brightness and gamma.
Tab 3 is Mouse – you can set pointer speed, double-click speed and scrolling properties.
The last Instant Play tab is Resource Release where you can choose which applications will be automatically closed when you launch your preset game with the P1 key combo.
Lastly, Device Setting comes with the possibility to turn on/off the Windows key on the keyboard, and enabling/disabling the high performance profile. Finally, you can once more choose SHIFT modes.

Only the newer version of Dragon Gaming Center has the "Device Setting" tab. It's a new feature with the 9xx series graphics models' Dragon Gaming Center.
The "Hybrid Power" tab shows on certain models which support hybrid power on previous Dragon Gaming Center.

  • Hi i buy G62 but the drivers for gaming is not working properly is there a way that i can download

My gaming driver is not working properly Im using a ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4200 how can i download a new driver suit to my computer and where its nposeble to download it thanks in advance.

Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.
Or, if you have a supported phone, you can download the app directly by typing this address into your phone's browser: http://bit.ly/fxbeta3
(Note: To download the app directly for an AT&T phone, you will have to search for instructions on "sideloading" the APK file, since AT&T disables the option to install from non-Market sources.)

  • Twitter share button in notification center not working?

I finally got my code for my free upgrade to Mountain Lion... I updated my computer last night and everything seems to be working well.  Other than the fact that they decided to leave the Facebook integration out without saying anything until last minute (that's the feature I was really looking forward to).  But anyway I woke up this morning and I went to send a tweet from the notification center.  The button is there but when I click it nothing happens.  I've removed my twitter account and readded it.  i checked the box to remove the share button and readded.  I restarted my computer twice and nothing... Anyone have any ideas?

I know the ans...first install os x mountain lion again above all your installation..then see the build it should be.. (12c60) then..update every thing..but dont install or update..."update for macbook pro and macbook air 2.0 "it is the culprit ...then hide that update..and remember to install offline version of combo and supplement update 10.8.2..ok..as sometimes when ur notification cetre not work then installoffline "combo and supp" updates...ok..REMEMBER NOT TO INSTALL MACBOOK AIR AND MACBOOK PRO 2.0 UPDATE...PLZ...AND USE UR SYSTEM...!! follow me https://www.twitter.com/ankit8083   https://www.facebook.com/ankit8083...good luck..DONT CHANGE UR BUILD..AS IF U WILL CHANGE IT THEN UR SHARE BUTTON WILL NOT WORK..IN NEW BUILD..!!And wait for apple to get new build after april 2013...but not download macbook pro and macbook air 2.0 update..which help in graphical improvements and some usb devices...!!

  • Valign="center" not working

I am exporting data in excel using JSP, the data gets exported perfectly but the valign="center" is not working.in the html table <td> tag
If i give valign="top" or valign="bottom" it works fine.

This is an HTML question, not a JSP question...
but the problem is that there is no such thing as valign="center". Centering is for horizontal alignment. You put something in the middle for vertical alignment: valign="middle".
