Any one could please calrify the following,
This is related to ELM business scenario, i have 15 Bp's which are rented now i exceuted a campaign and converted 10 Bp's in to PROSPECT and the remainig 5 Bp's i want to delete it from CRM Server how can i delete it?

just use transaction BUPA_DEL
or if above doesn work BUPA_PRE_DA
see once ur work is done and u don want unwanted BP inside the system,to delete the BP its like normal way to delete them
use BUPA_DEL
it will solve ur purpose
i believe u have already identified the BPs u want to delete

I have an attribute with multipe value options, i.e.
Attribute name: Subscriptions
Values:
A01 - Newsletter
A02 - Magazine
A03 - Special Offers
A04 - Tradefair Invitations
With ELM, I am able to flag multiple values for this attribute.
However, I am not able to UNFLAG (deselect) the values with ELM.
(I tried ' ' , which works for updating Business Partners, but then I get the message that ' ' is not an allowed value for this field).
Does anyone have a clue how to do this?

How can we delete rented BP's via ELM

HI All,
If ELM list is deleted will rented BP's automatically deletes or not.
If not how can we delete rented BP's which are not used in any business transactions such as inbound activities, sales orders etc.

Hi,
Just make sure only rented BP can be deleted and if the BP is already used in any transaction will not be deleted, the only step is you have to select the same External list from which you have created the BP and with selecting check box Delete External List Start the execution.

Error in ELM - Maintain BP - CRM_MKTLIST_STAGING013

HI all,
when i try to upload BP with ELM, SYSTEMS (CRM 7.0) show me the following error message:
0 business partners maintained
message errore - CRM_MKTLIST_STAGING013
I have this problem after that i have implemented CRM_MKTLIST_BADI badi.
The problem remains also if i delete all my abap code.
If i deactive the bai, no prblem occurs.
someone have any suggestions?

Please check the workflow customising in SPRO , the Implement workflow Customising under ELM mentions the details of the
same.
If you check the documentation, it mentions " First of all, you must perform the Maintain Standard Settings for SAP Business Workflow. "
This can be done using the IMG path :
CRM -> Basic Functions
-> SAP Business Workflow
-> Maintain Standard Settings for SAP Business Workflow.
or by clicking in the link provided for ELM workflow documentation. Can you please complete these settings as they are essential for ELM to work.
If you have implemented the BADI CRM_MKTLIST_BADI, then adjust your BADI according to your requirement, also review note 708557

How to cancel enternal list create with ELM

Dear Expert, i need an information.
I use ELM (transaction CRMD_MKTLIST) to upload lead in CRM.
Is there the possibility to cancel from the system an external list created with CRMD_MKTLIST ? In the transaction there isn't the possibility ti do it(only to create ) . Are there other transaction ? Any function module ? Any report ?

Hi Davide,
There is only one scanrio where you are able to delete the Master Data that was created by ELM and this is if you have selected the "rented" flag for your upload. If you have done this, you will be able use the Delete External List function.

Issue ELM is sometimes not updating contacts it creates new ones

Hello experts,
we have the following problem. We have a list in ELM which contains ORG ID and contact ID. In additional it contains Name first; last name; E_mail adress and a set of marketing attributes. When I run the list with 651 eintries ELM creates in some cases new contacts instead of updating the existing one. All other contacts are updated properly.
When I then go to Tx BUPA_DEL delete the new ones and again run ELM with only the new created contacts inside the list ELM is updating the existing contacts and is not creating new ones. So it is shure that not the data contains any errors.
Any ideas why ELM is doing so?

thank you very much for the reply. I´m sorry but it not solves my problem. I have 651 Contact Persons and BP ID´s in the list. Very often for the same Account and everything works perfect. Only a very few times ELM is creating a new Contact instead of updating the existing one. in the case of the list with the 651 Contacts exactly two times.

Importing contacts to Elm from PC suite (previous backup from W595)

I have just had to replace my W595 with an Elm and am trying to import the contacts from PC Suite but there is an error every time. I previously had a W995 which I lost and purchased a 595 and there was no problem transferring the contacts. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for your response.
If the back up is not restoring to your Sony Ericsson Elm, I would suggest attempting to extract the contacts from the Back up file so you can transfer these to your Elm using Synchronisation.
To extract the contacts, you would need to following the below instructions on your PC:
1. Go to My Documents > Sony Ericsson > Sony Ericsson PC Suite > Phone Back ups
2. Right click on the .dbk file and select Copy
3. Right click anywhere in the window and select Paste
4. Right click on either of the .dbk files and select Rename
5. Delete “dbk” and replace with “zip” so that the files reads C902.zip for example
6. You can then open the file to see it’s contents
7. Double click on Contacts and you should be able to add to Windows Address Book
You may need to install an archiver tool such as Win Rar to open the zip file and view the contacts.vcf.
Once you can see all the contacts in Windows Address Book, you can connect your Elm to the PC Suite and use the Synchronisation feature. This should put all your contacts from here onto your new handset.

ELM 9.1 and CUCM 9.1 Registration Conflict

Hi,
Have a standalone ELM server and a CUCM 9.1.1a cluster registering to it that has been working fine for a few months.
A few days ago the CPU was pegging on the ELM server (hostagt process) and I could not restart that process individually, and I did a graceful restart of the ELM server (utils system restart) and it came back up and everything was fine.
Now a few days later, I get alert from CUCM that the ELM sync has not worked for past 7 days and there are 53 days remaining.
On the ELM server, under Product Instancxes the CUCM has a Registration Conflict error and says it is managed by another ELM server. There is only one ELM server. The CUCM license page says it is managed by this ELM server that is complaining.
I've restarrted the ELM server with no change, and I tried to restart the ELM Client on the CUCM server without change.
Do I need to delete the CUCM product instance from the ELM server and add it back?
Is there something hung up on the CUCM server and I need to restart other services on it? I am not seeing much in the logs on either server.
Both ELM and CUCM are version 9.1.1a.

Could be this perhaps;
Symptom: Product Instance registration fails with an error that the product instance is already managed by ELM.
Resolution: Log into the CLI of the product you are trying to add, and run the command license client reset registration which will clear its previous register with ELM.

Delete File From Mounted Volume

I am trying to delete the "Calendar Cache" files on both my laptop PowerBook G4 and the Mac Pro Quad that I sync my calendars with. I am using ChronoSync and the individual calendars sync fine, but there is a little house keeping needed with the cache file. They need to be deleted on both systems in order to "refresh" the views of the calendars.
So after the sync of calendars, I have the software initiating an AppleScript that deletes both. Here's the script:

MaxL does not have commands to alter an outline directly, except the reset command which can delete all dimensions but not members selectively. The best you could do would be to run a rules file (import dimensions) using a file that contains the members you want to keepload rule for the dimension. As typical the warning is to test this first before you do it on a production database

These type of Internal Errors are all too common in OWB and it's difficult to diagnose the exact problem.
I'd suggest closing the Design Centre, going back in and trying to delete it again, this will often resolve Internal errors.
There's also an article on Metalink Doc ID: 460411.1 about errors when deleting mappings but it's specific to an ACLContainer error, so may or may not be of use.
One of the suggestions is to connect as the Repository Owner rather than a User and try to delete the mapping.

Adobe cloud tries to load addon which I have deleted in Extension manager

when Adobe Cloud starts it tries to load an application (Edge FX lite) that I have deleted in Adobe Extension Manager cc. I get the error message ' unable to install the addon EdgeFX lite error 603. How do I stop this?
Also in Adobe Exchange in 'My Stuff' there are showing addons which I have removed in Adobe extension Manager cc which I would like to be removed from this listing as I will never use them, but if I right click to uninstall I fail to get rid of them.

1) Go to https://creative.adobe.com/addons/
2) In the top right hand corner select sign in and enter your Adobe ID and password
3) Once logged in, on the center of the screen at the left hand side, select the link 'All your purchases and shared items'
4) You will then be taken to a page that is the equivalent of your My Stuff panel.
5) You can then install individual add-ons/extensions.

IPhone voice memos can't be deleted

I have unchecked voice memos and eleted others from my itunes library, but they still show in Voice Memos on the iphone (when viewed from itunes. How do I get rid of them from the iphone. I think this is why I have 4GB of OTHER cluttering my iphone memory

Thanks, selecting Manually Manage allowed me to delete the errant voice memo files. Curiously, it did not delete within the general Music folder so had to dlete from there as well. I think they are gone, but saw no reduction in space used. Have to look somewhere else for that.

IPhone Deletes Exchange Emails To Wrong Folder

Hello all!
I have a Microsoft Exchange mail account setup on my iPhone 4 (iOS 6.1) which works wonderfully, short of one aspect: Emails deleted from my phone do not go to the accounts standard 'Trash' folder, but to a different 'Deleted' folder. I can see no way to change this setting. Any ideas?

Thanks Templeton. This is the only definitive answer I've found anywhere. Turns out my iPhone was correct and my other email clients are sending to the wrong folder!
