I have been receiving this email 3-4 times this month. Details below.
I want to know if this email is legit (as it asking my address & credit card details) OR is it a scam, as I already have an apple ID & password..

The emails are not from Apple (iTunes account don't expire or are 'frozen' or 'suspended', and emails from Apple tend to be personalised, not just 'Hello' or 'Dear customer' etc), they are phishing attempts to try and get your iTunes account an payment details. You could forward the emails to Apple (these are user-to-user forums) : [email protected]
If you've clicked on the links in the email and filled in your id and password then you should change your password immediately e.g. by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on an iOS device an logging into it, or via http://appleid.apple.com

iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.

One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. When i try to purchase or update it says "Your Apple ID has been disabled." I have contacted Apple 3 times and they told me to change my password each time and i told them i tried that, but it didn't work.They said they would try to fix it and they never contacted me after that. I have an ipod touch 2nd generation.
What did itunes support tell you?
If you did everything it says then you contacted them.

Help me out! I just created my apple id today and can't download anything without it telling me "Your Apple ID has been disabled"
Depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'

my iphone version is 7.0 and it has been expired im trying to downgrade it but itunes gives me errors can anybody help ?

I have been trying to download items from itunes store, but keep getting the error message "your Apple ID has been disabled. I changed the password and updated billing information, but still get this error message. This involves free apps which I was trying to install.
I am having the same problem. I went through the process to have the ID unlocked (Changing password etc.) and was able to log in here on the website to post this message. Why am I still getting "Your Apple ID has been disabled" as a message after verifying the account here and signing in and out on my Device. This has been issue on my Ipad as well.

I get the following error when trying to use the itunes store "your apple id has been disabled". My account was disabled when someone else had been using it without my knowledge. I changed my apple id password and the apple id is still fine, but itunes has it disabled. I verified that the computer is authorized for this apple id. What to do now?

I don't know if you all realize but iTunes has been updated more than five times so can you please update your information on how to transfer apps form a IOS device to iTunes please

Every time I try to buy a song, a message pops up stating "Your Apple ID has been disabled." That's it. Nothing else. I have changed and reset my email, password, security questions, and billing info. The message still pops up. I am just trying to buy some music. Any ideas?

I just got this message and sent it to [email protected] per instructions on another post. the link leads to a page asking for Apple id and credit card information.I got a similar email. It's obviously Spam. The double period afetr the first sentence and the otherwise poor grammar are dead giveaways even before I checked out the link embedded. -- I didn't click on it, just hovered over it to get the url. And the return address was [email protected] Very bogus.

I just got my iPhone 4 yesterday after having a Blackberry for 3 years. Everytime I try to download any type of application it keeps displaying "Your Apple ID has been disabled." Before activating my iPhone I downloaded the most recent iTunes. I even went back today I reset my password after some minor research made the suggestion. I sent an e-mail off to to Apple last night after their Apple tech was no help at all. He is the one that suggested the e-mail and that he could not help me. I am really frustrated at this point. I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out. I was extremely excited about getting my new iPhone 4 and now I am just over it! Help please!!!
