Re-enable Calendar widget sync events?

Hi,
How to re-enable synchronization events with the application calendar between calendar widget in dashboard? I tried to remove and re-install widget but it did not work.

I've noticed that events don't appear straight away once entered - A system restart will often refresh this or the quickest way without waiting for a system refresh is to remove the widget then re-add it

I've also had a few strange errors while making iOS apps - odd popup errors 'like the ones your getting' would appear saying something unrelated to the real issue.
Take another look over your code around the area where you think the error happens, I had a left over 'playdone' command copied across from a large block of code (very sloppy) - anyway it cause the same type of problem
I find It's better to go off the error messages from your dir code on the mac - then the iOS projector errors.

Why does my calendar not sync events created on my iphone

When I create an event on my iPhone 4 and then sync it to my MacBook, the event is not showing up in iCal. I have "Sync all Calendars" checked in iTunes under info when my phone is connected. This problem just started after I installed Snow Leopard.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
    1.    First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    2.    Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
    3.    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Calendar Widget Not Showing Upcoming Events

I've upgraded to the latest N900 firmware (pr1.2) and ever since I have had a problem with the calendar widget. All the events are contained in the calendar when I open it however they are not displayed on the desktop widget.
I've got events loaded for the month of June but for some reason these are not showing. Instead I have events showing for July, September and even December. I've tried removing all the entries and the re-adding them but this hasn't solved the problem. I also created another calendar and placed the entries in the new one, again this didn't work.
Does anybody have any idea how I can resolve this problem.

I have exactly the same problem with the Calendar Widget not showing all upcoming events. It will show events way in the future but skip events inbetween. I've tried all day with PC Suite 7.1 and Outlook 2007 and some freshly entered events come across for unknown reasons whilst others do not. No amount of changing local entries to synchronized ones, deleting all calendar info from the phone and re-syncing by USB cable or Bluetooth solves the problem.
It worked fine before and, as you say, corresponds with the recent n900 software update.
I SINCERELY HOPE NOKIA READ THESE BULLETIN BOARDS.
Also, why isn't there a fully compatible PC Suite or Ovi Suite for the n900? I have a PC running Windows 7 and Nokia have told me in the past that they do not have a fully functional, compatible PC/Ovi Suite for Windows 7 and the n900.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT

I've a problem with my iPhone 4S after the installation of ios 6.
The configuration with facebook is installed, the sync. of contacts is OK,
the problem is with the calendar:
don't sync. the events when in menu_settings_Mail, Contact & Calendar I flag sync. events of 1 month later.
When I flag sync. all events the calendar sync. correct...
Please help me!!!

Thank You! The birthdays are still showing up in the drop down menue. Between the stocks and the weather widgets. Is there a fix for that???

Entering events in Outlook (2010/2007) calendar and syncing with iCloud

Setup: H/W and S/W: 1) Personal PC with Windows 7, Outlook 2010, 2) Work PC with Windows 7, Outlook 2007, 3) iPhone 5
Created unique iCloud user ID (different from Apple ID) to permit use of individual calendar and contacts across all platforms without co-mingling of data (contacts etc.) with rest of family (who is under same Apple ID). Works well.
Installed iCloud on both PCs, enabled iCloud on iPhone, all using new unique iCloud ID
My secretary creates events (as organizer) for me (as invitee) in her local Outlook calendar (on her PC) which appear on my work PC Oultook calendar. These events also appear in my iCloud calendar on my work PC. Good! (FYI, She uses her local Outlook calendar so she can invite others from work who are on same email system.)
Issue: As said before, events created by secretary appear in my local Outlook calendar and my iCloud calendar on my work PC but not on my iCloud calendar on my personal PC at home. Events created in iCloud on work PC do appear on personal PC, just not events created on local Outlook calendar at work. Seems, if these events appear in iCloud in one place, they choudl appear in iCloud in all places...yes? the cloud is the cloud is the cloud...is it not?
Am I missing a step? I have refreshed iCloud in all.

Entourage will not sync with iCloud, not now, probably not ever, time to change.

If you're trying to sync an iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPhone and make sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default.

I recently asked a question regarding my ipad calendar not syncing. Now I noticed I am unable to even add an event ( the sign in the upper right hand corner) is greyed out, nothing happens when you touch it. My notes aren't syncing either

Repeating events and calculations in a non-resource enabled calendar?

I've got a non-resource enabled calendar containing a combination of repeating events and individual events. There is a list of rooms that can be booked for an event.
Is there any way to tell - for any particular time frame - if a room has already been booked?
Let's say you have meeting rooms 200-205.
There's a meeting this Friday in room 200 from 1-5. a meeting in room 201 from 2-3 and a meeting in 202 from 2-7. Is there any way to tell what rooms are free from 5-6?
There are some complications using the resource calendar so we've got to stick with a regular calendar.

Welcome to the discussions.
Select the instance. Edit/Copy, then Edit/Paste. The copy is now an independant event, rather than an instance of a recurrence, and can be independently edit, moved etc. You can delete the instance from which you have copied - you will of course get the usual message about deleting all future events in the stream.

I have the a similar problem - only I can't actually get the calendar to show up. I've added the account and it's showing Mail and Notes but not Calendar. But I'd like it to show the outlook calendar.
I'm going to
Go to settings > mail contacts calendar
select your account that's affected
But under that account there isn't a calendar showing and I can't see any options to add it?

Easier way to sync event to calendar?

I was wondering what the easiest way to sync events to my calendar. For example, if I wanted to sync a list sporting events from a website. How can I do this, without entering each and every one in by hand?

Look in the website for something that says "download event info" or "subscribe to calendar". If there is an .ics file you can download and import into iCal/Outlook, then sync to the phone. (Try downloading it on the phone, I'm not sure whether it's set up to handle ics files or not)
But if the website hasn't offered facilities for this, there's not much you can do, I don't think.

Address book and calendar not syncing correctly. Events are being duplicated in the calendar, or disappearing totally, and the addresses are not updating.

I've been having problems with my calendar recently. Events I've listed are disappearing, without my having deleted them. And when I update my addresses in my computer, my iphone doesn't update when it is synced. Any ideas what could be causing this? I have an iphone 4, and have updated to ios5. When I deselect the box next to contacts on system preferences > iCloud, I get a scary air message that says, "Do you want to keep a copy of your iCloud contacts on this Mac? If you don't keep a copy, iCloud contacts will be removed from this mac but will still be available on other devices using iCloud."
My mac has all of my contacts, but there are some that are not on my iPhone (Chistmas card list). Will I lose the contacts that are not backed up on my iPhone?
Should I select "Delete from Mac" or "Keep Contacts"?
Similar air message with calendars, so I assume whatever I do with contacts will be the same as calendars.

I do not believe this. I have been going nuts trying everything as in prior posts, and this has been a problem for users at least since 2010. I had this problem a long time ago and didn't pay too much attention to it because it was my iPad, and I depended on my BB a a base calander to feed Outlook. I became very concerned within the past week when I switched my BB to iPhone 5s, and was carrying both because I still needed to carry the BB for new calander enteries to sync up to Outlook 2007.
I had followed http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 and delete the apple s/w and re-installed. But according to the previous post, it appears that the issue was in the data - which was not deleted during all these deinstalls nor overridden with the new installs.
I am a XP user, so my files are in documents and settings/(username) both application data and \local settings\application data, but I also have safari and quicktime installed as well and didn't want to just blow entire high level folders if I didn't have to.
So I followed http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 then purged several apple folders in my windows profile and this definitely blew apple computer\preferences away. What I did was a little clumbsy, and desperate, but it worked. I am finally back in business.
However, I would like to see someone fine tune this and determine if it was just the preferences folder that needed to be deleted so that iTunes needed to rebuild it, or if there were other filoes that were apparently corrupted away, just to get this to the minimum number of steps to fix the issue.
BUT THANKS - This has been the most HELPFUL thread to get me syncing agai!!!!
