Re-entering serial number for Logic Pro 8 is NOT WORKING.

I purchased Logic Pro 8 when I bought my MacBookPro in 2008. Two weeks ago the main logic board had to be replaced. Logic Pro 8 then wanted me to re-enter my serial number. I re-entered it, but am getting "serial number is not valid." What the **** do I do now?

Thanks for the tip, the trick is now going to be contacting Apple. They don't seem too eager to provide phone numbers without having me throw them MO MONEY. After the hassle and expense with the main logic board, I'd like to be able to get my legally purchased software running again. Will let you know how it goes, meanwhile thanks for the quick answer

If you still have the receipt or other proof of purchase, you can ask Apple to send you the serial. Otherwise, bad luck mate.. Good news is, you can now buy Logic Pro 9 from App Store for just 199 USD

I have update logic pro 9.0.0 to the latest version(9.1.5) on my iMac with OS X Lion. it asks me the serial number, so i put the 9.0.0 number, but it says to me that this serial it's not correct. what can i do??HELP PLEASE

A typo, you mixed up a Zero with an Ohh or something like that.
The other option is that somebody stole your serial number, published it on the internet, Apple found it and blocked it.

I just digitally downloaded Logic Pro 9 through the App Store, but I can't open it because it requires a serial number on login which wasn't provided. Any ideas? Shouldn't it be associated with my appleid and not need to be registered?

Yes, it is. This happens when you have an old version of Logic Pro 9 somewhere on the hard drive. Delete old versions and re-download from the Mac App Store. That will fix it.

Purchased serial number for iWork 08 does not work

Hi--I recently downloaded the trial version of 08, then went and purchased the serial number once it ran out. The serial number is rejected when i try to use it--just says it's invalid. in the email i got with the serial number, the link showing how to use it leads me to an upgrade from 06 to 08. But I have never had 06. Very puzzled--have been onto Apple for telephone support but they can't solve it. Any clues? Thanks

Why not? Vista is a MAJOR change from what was used when P7 was written
Both Microsoft AND Apple (ala Snow Leopard OS) are known to break things with each new version of their operating system software
Even within Microsoft, the Office 97 I use with WinXP does not work with Vista or Windows 7

If you bought the Boxed version of Logic then you have two basic choices....
1) If you still have your old comoputer and Logic Studio 2/Logic Pro 9 is installed on it.. Open up Logic and go to the Logic Pro menu option and choose About Logic and you will find your serial there (Assuming you bought the full version of Logic 9 DVD) If you bought the upgrade version of Logic Pro 9 then you will also need your Logic 8 serial as well..... which can be obtained the same way if you retained the original copy of Logic 8 on your old Mac.
2) Use the following form to contact Apple get issued a replacement serial for Logic Pro 9

If you bought your full version of Logic 9 from the App Store you don't need a serial (as it uses your existing Apple ID and Password to authenticate) and can simply open the App Store App on your new Mac, navigate to the purchased tab and redownload Logic 9 from there.

How to enter serial number for sale order line which is in shipped status

We have 2 different items which are defined as Serialized at Sale order issue at item definition.
In one sale order,User has forgot to add serial number to one of the item at Ship confirm stage.
He has entered serial number correctly to other item.
Now the both Sale order lines are in Shipped status if we view them through Shipping>transactions.
I am technical guy and new to OM.Could you please let me know the process to enter the serial number for the item to which user has missed it

Hi Satya,
Since the item is already shipped, you cannot enter serial number for this line.
you have to enter serial numbers after pick confirm only.

As a workaround for the previous lines do RMA and try to receive the goods back to your subinventory.
