The following problem is endlessly appearing when I am attempting to backup a project plan from a workspace earmarked for backup. I have tried the following.
Creating a new workspace and including all the plans and theron taking an export. This also fails.
I am enclosing the error message reported. Can some one guide me to resolve this problem.

Yes, I know this error
It appears because of usage not fully compatible disks
I had the similar issue and could solve this using another DVD from another manufacturer.

But now I notice that my LR directory of folders in Library view does not show images correctly: If there is a folder with sub-folder(s), the folder will indicate 0 images, but the sub-folders show the proper number of images. What happened and is there a fix? I tried uninstalling Lightroom and re-installing, but problem persists.

Premiere Pro export issues. Unknown error messages, extremely slow export times, strange I/O & disk usage

I'm hoping I can start getting answers to some big issues I've been having running Premiere pro. I've had similar issues with CS6 but it seems like with CC and every recent update, the problem hasn't been resolved, its even worse.
The main issue I have is seeing the 'unknown error' message everytime I try to export a file. I'm working with RED footage. When I turn off the CUDA support, I can export without the error but my export time goes from a few minutes to sometimes hours in the render time!
I've looked through pages and pages of forums and there are so many people saying the same thing, with millions of opinions of what the problem is. Regardless, the only thing I tried that worked so far is turning off the CUDA support.
Now something I recently noticed, is that the difference isn't the GPU usage, I still show GPU being used at 500mb or 1gb out of the 2gb that it has (GTX 680)
The strange thing is without the mercury playback option, I'm seeing that disk usage and I/O go way down to kbs from a very high number. This would make sense why I'm seeing such huge changes in render times even though it still shows my 6 core CPU maxed out and ram over 40gb out of 64 that are installed.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what may be happening here? Its the only thing that has plagued my system using Premiere since day one and there seems to be no way around it..

Best way to get a real answer is go to the Tweaker's Page, download the most recent PPBM benchmark test, and run it. It's a folder that has a resource monitoring/logging program and a PrPro project with files that is short but HEAVY in effects, both AE and PrPro, so it tests all parts of a system's capabilities from disc in/out to GPU capability/use to CPU, fsb, RAM, you name it ... and after sending that back in you get a complete report on where your computer did well and what the choke-points were.
Also ... over on the Hardware forum is the place where the techies amongst us hang ...

WORD Error message -- Report from Template

Hello everyone,
I try to generate a "Report from Template" with transaction CG03.
I can select the generation variant and the parameter values in the next two pop-ups.
WORD is starting but then there is the error message:
"Word cannot read this document. Maybe it is corrupted. Try the following:
- open and repair the file
- open file with repair-textconverter".
This message is a translation from german to english so the correct messagt might differ from this.
When I look at my frontend PC in the local settings I see that the respective files are written, but I can´t open them.
This problem started two days ago out of nowwhere.
Additional information: Visual Basic pops up after the error message is closed with "runtime error '1055'.
A debugger is opened and this is the content of the window:

any change happened on your client? New Windows version? New Word Version? New WWI Version installed? Did you manupulated Standad Dot path etc.? Did you change Standard.dot of Word?
Can you open in cg54/cg50 any document (ready, released or historic) without a problem and the problem is related only to "report from template"?
During WWI process a number of files are passed on to your client. Can you use Wordpad to open the files? I am not sure but I believe per WWI document there should be something like 4 or 5 documents in your local WWI path. One containing the data, one containing the template and some others (named something like resfil, lesfil etc.).
An error like you described is normally related to one of the above mentioned changes. Can you use "Report from template "regarding the same spec, same genvariant same language with a different client without a problem => then it is clear you have a local problem

Error message - failed to export to Microsoft Word

I signed up for this servive and it does not seem to be working for me. I have tyried different pdf files and browsers and I keep getting the same error message.

I am also getting the same error message with a scanned text pdf file. The support page says it will OCR scanned text pdfs and convert to Word, but I keep getting a "failed to export" message. The file is only 19 mb, well within the 100 mb limit. This is the only reason I subscribed, to convert scanned text pdfs to Word, and now the service does not seem to do what it says it will do. I spent three hours with tech support before they finally informed that there is no tech support for this product, only the forums. So here I am. I trust someone with the necessary knowledge and expertise at this forum will be able to help me resolve this issue.

"Unable to Create Volumes" error message in iPhoto export

Hi. I am attempting to export all of my videos from iPhoto onto an external drive. I have read several articles in this community, but so far my problem has not been solved. I keep getting the error message "Unable to /create/volumes/Lisa's Prtable Drive..." when I attempt to export. I have experimented with changing batch names, selecting fewer movies to export, etc. I AM able to export one video at a time, but I have 719 videos to move, and would much rather do them all at once.

There are some other suggestions re permissions that are worth looking at.
Some font issues come from one or more damaged fonts.
Please let us know if you find a solution or any hints.
I'm still scratching my head; I don't want to call it "thinking" or anything that suggests a process likely to produce any useful information....

BDB 5.2 Error message reported on std out

While testing with 5.2 (we are planning ro upgrade to 5.2) we see the following message reported on
the Screen -

My application continues to run - i.e. does not get any errors.
My question - is this something I should be worried about. The message "Lock is no longer valid" seems to indicate there may be some consistency related issue.

I need more info on this issue:
1. What is the exact BDB version you are using (e.g. 5.2.19, 5.2.36)? On what platforms/OS?
2. Is this issue reproducible at will? Can you provide a small stand-alone test case program?
3. What is the access method of the database on which you are performing the operation (e.g. Btree, Recno)? What isolation degree flag are you using (e.g. DB_READ_COMMITTED, DB_READ_UNCOMMITTED)?
4. Are you acquiring and releasing locks explicitly by using the lock_get(), lock_put() or lock_vec() methods?
5. If you can reproduce it, put a breakpoint on the following line in db-5.2.PP/src/lock/lock.c:
__db_errx(env, __db_lock_invalid, "DB_LOCK->lock_put");or simply put a breakpoint on the __db_errx function. Get the stack trace when the breakpoint is hit and dump the content of lock and lockp (i.e. in gdb do a print lock, print lockp).

Error message when creating export Job via GRID

Hello All,
I am trying to do an export using GRID control 10.2.0.4. The database host is a Windows 2003 server with Oracle 11.1.0.6 database. After I create the export job, GRID generates the following error message and the job fails:
Connect Failed: ORA-12557: TNS:protocol adapter not loadable (DBD ERROR: OCIServerAttach)
Any ideas?

I think you may be hitting bug 6272323. This is fixed in 10.2.0.5, problem exporting 11g databases on windows with 10.2 GC. I suggest you raise a SR and ask for a fix.

What does the error message say exactly?
Please contact tech support through the FxFactory application and explain your problem in as much detail as possible.
This will attach a FxFactory generated System profile to your message which can be very helpful in diagnosing problems on your system:
1) Launch the FxFactory application
2) Choose the "Contact Tech Support..." command under the Help menu.

Based on my understanding, you comes across an error when you export the report from SharePoint.
In your scenario, you should check ULS logs with the Correlation ID to see if anything unexpected occurred. If possible, you can provide the log for our analysis. About how to check the ULS logs, please refer to the articles below:

Idoc error message report

To see most of the EDI IDOC errors, we need to go into additional log to check that, is there any report were we can get list of idoc errors in one go for the users
Can any one tell me the tables which get updated when error shows up

The tables are EDIDC (IDoc control segment) and EDIDS (Status messages). From EDIDC you can select IDoc numbers that have errors (check STATUS field) and then link EDIDS by DOCNUM and STATUS (note that there might be multiple entries, you may use additional criteria to skip what you don't need).
If you need the segment data then the table is EDID4 (or could be another number depending on the release).

Error message on version export

Hi,
Thankfully my upgrade to A3 seems to have gone without a hitch, although I elected not to reprocess all my masters, figuring that I'd reprocess them one at a time as needed.
But I have now discovered that when I try to export a version (whatever the file type I choose and whatever the size) I get the following error: "Export Versions Complete with Errors (then lists file path) The export operation failed to create a file for the version identified below (followed by a list of all files)". There is no other information.
For masters still in the A2 library format I have tried reprocessing into A3 with no luck. I have tried exporting images imported directly into to A3 library. I have also tried deleting previews and rebuilding, but nothing works.
Any ideas?

This was all with exports of edited images, not masters. 18k x 7k image export at 100% failed with the 'export too large' message, same as you got.
I then tried setting up a new JPEG export using 'fit within size' to find the maximum dimensions that Aperture would export to, setting height and width to the same thing. I then tried exporting the 18k image using that preset, progressively reducing the maximum size in the preset until it would export.
I only got the RAM warning within a very narrow band of dimensions - higher and it would fail before starting saying it was too big, smaller and it would export (slowly).
I haven't tried opening in an external editor as that's where the images came from in the first place... Note that opening in an external editor is pretty much the same as exporting the version as far as processing is concerned as Aperture makes a flattened copy of the file after applying adjustments to it.
You have more RAM than me and a faster machine, I managed to export an image with a longer dimension (but more of a 'strip' format). I think it must depend on the overall area rather than the longest dimension. The file size of the original is irrelevant as it has to be opened uncompressed into RAM for the adjustments to be made.

For the purpose of changing the description on the Selection screen from Cost Cetnters (Authorised Values) to Funds Centers I had changed the ZCCTRATI variable description to Funds Centers
Issue:
When we open the old report we see the following information message.
" Value if variable ZCCTRAT1 is automatically converted

Imovie 09 error message trying to export file as .flv

I am setting up a website in iweb 09 and using video created in imovie 09... been told best video code across the board for pc users is flv... is this true that the best way to save files for iweb is flv format? If so.. how do I convert? imovie won't let me... see error below.
I get the error below when trying to share and save as .flv... should I be able to do this or do I need another program to covert?
The movie could not be exported because an error occurred. (OSStatus error -32766)

I should've made the movie in FCP where the FLV works. Now I am stuck!!

Using LR 5.6. When exporting an image, I get error message: Unable to export. An internal error occurred. Win 32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified") when calling Shell Execute ....etc.
