Here i have an issue reg the configuration screens in PM
In SAP-SPRO---Plant maintenance and Costumer Services, I am not able to find the Screens required for configuration for FLEET MANAGEMENT i e.,
1) Set List Processing for Fleet management objects.
2) Set reference object screen for Vehicles.
3) Consumption Relevant Counter reading Update.
These are mandatory for capturing the cost of the fuel into reports of Vehicle analysis report.
Please any one can Send me whether we need go for any Patches or to update any notes.
Present i am using ECC-6 EHP-5
Please reply back ,it is very urgent.

My question is that possible to bring the catalog ICON in PM Order in backend or is that possible to add components from catalog in the backend.

while creating Plant Maintenance order through T code iw31.
In the main menu Go to-Assisments----Fund management.
now this Fund management is in grey mode.
What are the steps i need to carry to make it active mode.

Ask with your Co person either they activated fund mgt. This is thier Job u can activate your order types for commitmente check at KOAB.
Ask them to look at SPRO--PUBLIC SECTOR MGT
Also at SPRO-CONTROLLING-INTERNAL ORDERS-BUDGET AND AVAILABLITY CONTROL
You also check at your OIOA.

Fund management in plant maintenance module

Hi.
can anyone explain how fund management works in plant maintenance module. Actually to say we have implemented FM. We make FM entries in orders in GOTO -> assignment -> Fund Management.
The question is, when we make entries in PM orders, it creates auto reservation No. for the materials (components) which are added in component tab of order. though in PM order we have made FM entries it is not carried by the system in auto generated reservation no. Plz advice.

Plz find below te error occured in program.
Program RFFMRP_MAT_RESERVATION does not exist
    Message no. DS017
Diagnosis
    The program you specified does not exist.
Procedure
    If are creating a new program, acknowledge the message and continue.
    If you are trying to access an existing program, check the spelling. For
    a list of existing programs, select Utilties -> Find program.
Can You suggest the alternate answer for the problem.

PM Fleet Management Consumtion Relevant node missing under SPRO

Hi,
I am trying to configure Fleet Management under Plant Maintenance module using SPRO.
We are on ECC 6.0 with the patch levels to <N>.
I am not able to find the node "_Consumtion Relevant Counter Reading Update_" under Fleet Management System. The main node is missing which would further take me to the creation/defining of "Gas Stations". As, in the IFCU transaction system is asking for Gas Station Code.
Please let me know if I can provide some more information for the same, for you to help me with the same to the best of your knowledge.

Hello Kurni,
In PDM/PLM latest version is PLM 7.0.
There are many new functionalities available in this version.
Earlier version can be accessed from SAP GUI, but the latest one can be accessed from Portal/NWBC.
DMS side many notes have to be applied as you will be instaling EHP4.0 as part of the upgrade.
ECM side some standard reports are missing in PLM 7.0, which were available in ECC6.0.

REG. SAP Plant Maintenance

Hi All,
I have an peculiar issue in plant maintenance.
I have created a new Equipment and now it is in status - INST and PRO.
If is execute IH03 transaction I am able to see this Equipment whereas the other users are not able to see this new equipment in IH03.
The issue is not only with IH03 even the equipment is not visible in transactions like Create notification, Maintenance orders, Maintenance plans.
please throw some light.
Whereas the other equipment which was created very long with deletion flag set. Even that get displayed. As I assume it should not get displayed right.

Urgent Issue in Plant Maintenance Module

Dear Experts,
We have requirement as described below, please give us your solutions / comments on this.
We have GTC company which is having around 800 trucks for transporting the products. I n this company we have implemented SAP Plant Maintenance Module, as we have the maintenance activities done for vehicles.
Under the same group of companies, we have PM1,PM2,PM3 companies which provide maintenance to GTC. These companies are not external to the group.
When I raise a maintenance order for a vehicle then I will mention hours of work and material that need to be used in the activity. This maintenance work / labour is provided by PM1/PM2/PM3 company.
In plant maintenance we have external service management, but that is for external vendors who provide service to GTC.
But how to handle the same with internal vendors like PM1/PM2/PM3.
Please tell me how to handle this kind of scenario.

Hi,
this is a major topic and cannot be covered in a blog. Even if it can it will take a lot of time to clarify. So, first do your checks within your module. Check if u really need to treat the services from the other company as external services. You might as well create workcenters in the plants of the other companies. And make a single maintenance planning plant for all the plants in these companies. This will make a better solution technically. But think also from the perspective of the cost of this solution. Meaning, is it worth doing all the jobs such as maintaining activity prices, work centers in the other plants etc..
In general, my suggestion is include the FI and CO consultants at least in the discussion. It will b good if u can have the MM consultant also during the discussion.

Warranty for materials in Plant Maintenance

Hi Experts
I am trying to explore how warranty could be used for spare parts in PM. I did following and seems that it works the same way as it works for equipment . meaning that it shows a dialog box when creating Notif and order.
Step1: Create Material Master
Step 2: Create Material Serial Number (Equipment master is created in background)
Step 3: Add warranty information in equipment
Step 4: Create Notification or work order, the warranty information is displayed
My Questions is on Goods movement and benefit by using serial number. I have created 03 serial numbers (1,2 and 3) by using TX IQ01. I have two cases:
Case1: what are the benefits of serial numbers created above without activating serial numbers in Inventory management. How it helps in Plant maintenance
Case2; Assming we activate serial number mgmt in IM ( by assigning serial no profile in material master). How does the serial numbers created above (1,2 and 3 by using IQ01) tie to Inventory management serial numbers. When I receive material for a purchase order how the serial numbers are assigned and tie to serial numbers created by IQ01.
Appreciate your help. Let me know if I am not clear.

Kindly tell me how to create a MM-SRV Purchase Requisition from Enterprise Asset Management (Plant Maintenance).
eg. A plant maintenance order (IW31) is created for repair of a transformer. It requires external service procurement with following structure.
Service Item D: Transformer repair
Limit 10,000 eur
Outline 10: Dismantling
Service Line 10: Junior Technician 5 hr, 10 eur
Service Line 20: Senior technician 3 hr, 15 eur
Outline 20: Cleaning
Service Line 10: Oiling 5 hr, 20 eur
Outline 30: Reassembly
Service Line 10: Junior Technician 15 hr, 10 eur
Service Line 20: Senior technician 10 hr, 15 eur
Kindly tell me how Purchase Requisition can be created with service structure from Plant Maintenance.

In IW31, select the Order type. Select the Planning Plant.
give the main work center & Functionla location of performing the services
Click on the operations tab, select the Control Key PM03 Plant maintenance-External(services). Enter the operation short text. Select the line item & click on External Icon (at bottom of page)
Give the details such as material group, purchase group, Purchase organization , requisitioner.
Create the service lines & Save the data. Order gets created. goto IW32 & release the order.
PR can be viewed in Act. Data tab at the service lines.

CATS--- How it is transferred to plant Maintenance module

Hello HCM Guys,
Currently we are confirming Manhours using IW41 against the reservations of the respective manhours made in the Maint work order.After confirmation , the cost of the manhours is accumulated on the work order which is settled on the sender Cost Center maintained in the Work center master data. After TECO of the work order, Settlement of the maint work order is done in Controlling module thru KO88/KO8G(mass) and the cost transferred from the sender to the receiver cost center maintained in the CO during month end closure activity before period end close. Also standard Activity re-evaluation is done for consecutive month activity price update thru the link of activity type---Cost center assignment. This is the standard process of confirmation of manhours in SAP.
Now since the business needs indiviual employee manhours confirmation(Internal and external employees(Contractors), I understand it can be achieved by the CATS component of HR module. I understand that in this process of CATS we do the daily attendance/absence/overtime thru the standard data entry profile maintained in CATS by HR team. After the employee has entered his daily time sheet and released, it is approved by Time administrator of HR dept which finally goes to Manager-HR for his approval. The approved time sheet manhours are then transferred to respective module like PS, PM, CS modules. As we have never used this before I wnat to know how the transfer of costs happen when transfer to Plant Maintennace module is done. How the cost gets booked. How the cost is charged and transferred to payroll in PM...Does this happen against Maint Orders or CO Internal orders?Please explain me the detail procedure after transfer of manhours to Plant maintenance module and the cost transfer to respective receivers from sender objects....

usually there is one step approval in CATS, You can do so via cats_appr_lite in backend
Transfer to other components is done via CAT6
Refer help.sap.com on various target components CATS can do transfer. you need to define the correct attributes
