Re getting a 2011 version of Photoshop Elements

My friends..... I purchased a downloaded version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 in 2011. More recently, due to some problems with OSX Mavericks, I had my operating system re-installed. During that process, I lost said version of Photoshop Elements 9. I am trying to find a way to find a link to it on Adobe's Web site. Can any of you point me in the right direction?
Also, if one owns a license for Photoshop Elements 9, can one buy the latest iteration (Photoshop Elements 12) for a discounted price, based on owning a license to a prior version?
Sorry if the simplicity of these issues sends some of you into a towering rage, it is just that I am not endowed with Adobe-related omniscience, and I am just trying to work through this state of information deficit.

If you are working in PSE13, please update it to latest PSE13.1 update available and see if it helps.
To apply update, you can go to Help > Updates and there you can see PSE13.1 update.

Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it.

If this is on the same computer just install PSE 12. It should find your old catalog and upgrade it to PSE 12. If for some reason it doesn't, then go to file>manage catalogs, find your old catalog and tell PSE 12 to convert it.
If this is a new computer, then yes, full backup and restore.

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. How can I download the trial version of Photoshop Elements on Windows Vista?

I am eager to try out the trial version of Photoshop Elements 7.0-however I can’t download it! I get to 99% downloaded and then get a fatal error telling me that there are integrity check problems. Installing new Retail version of Photoshop Elements, receive Invalid Serial Number

I purchased a new Box retail version of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 12 and before installing I am asked for the Serial Number. I enter it from the box but I get a message that says it is invalid serial number. How can that be if that is what is on the Box.

Hi Everyone,
I was able to solve it myself and in way should have provided more information. I was installing the software under the local Admin which in my Domain does not have internet access through our Proxy.
Once I logged on with my Domain Admin and tried to install the software, it worked with out problems. I was not aware that the computer needed access to the Internet to verify the Serial Number.

I have uninstalled my purchased version of Photoshop Elements 11 due to issues I was having, now I need to reinstall it - where can I find the link for this? I can only seem to find the link to instal Photoshop Elements 12.

Lost Serialized Insert from PC Ultimate Software Suite-Cannot Install Full Version of Photoshop Elements 12

I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop which was bundled with PC Ultimate Software Suite, a collection of programs on one disc. It included Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, but I misplaced the insert that contained the serial key. I still have the sleeve that the CD was bundled with, as well as the CD itself. Is there anyway I can still download the full version of Photoshop Elements 12 without having to buy the program separately or buying Software Suite again?

If Dell provided the bundle you should contact Dell to see about getting a replacement or the serial for the disk.

Do you get this error when loading or using the organizer or the editor?
What are you trying to do when you get this error?
If you are using raw files, which camera (make and model) do you use to create the raw files?
If you can load the editor, which version of camera raw do you have loaded? - see Help -> about Plug-in -> Camera raw
