- Some OEM plug-ins which I downloaded have a Configuration Section on the Plug-In's home page.
- The OEM Extensibility Guide does not explain how to add the Configuration Section to a Plug-In.
- Could someone please provide some pointers on how to add the Configuration Section to an OEM plug-in?

For certain Oracle built plug-ins, ECM configuration data is collected, which will show up in the Configuration Section on the target homepage. However, the ECM functionality is not supported for plug-ins built outside of Oracle.
You can still collection configuration data as a regular metric, but it wouldn't appear on the homepage under the Configuration Section; it would appear as any other metric collected for the target type.

Add the video as Multi-Slide Synchronized Video, not Event Video. Then you get the option to have the video play in the TOC. However, be aware that the area you can use in the TOC will be quite small.

How to add document navigator control into a plug-in window?

I develop a filter plug-in for Photohsop CS2, but I wonder how to add navigator controll in the plug-in window. The navigator works int the same way like Photoshop navigator - moving cursor on the navigator makes the image scroll in the main previes. I want to have both, the navigator and a main preview window in the filter plug-in window. I saw it many times, however, I did not find example in Photoshop CS2 filter SDK.
If somebody could point me to a resource, that could get me to the right track, i would be glad.

Chris hello,
It is good to know that plugins can not control the docunment view in Photoshop. However, my idea was to have preview in Photoshop plug-in window, and then to have small navigator that would scroll the preview. Exactly like on this Photoshop plug-in:

Please notice tha navigator on the right side of the window. Moving the red rectangle in it will scroll the middle preview window.

How to add different sections in the documentation of objects

I started to document my scenarios via the "build in documentation functionality". It works well for a short overlook, define contact persons, etc. I could also choose a section, but the only value that I can select is u201CUseu201D.
How can I add my own sections, like u201CKnown issuesu201D, e.g. there?

How to add javascript sections in a new form?

I've started livecycle development this week, and after going through JP Terry's book can't see how to incorporate sections of javascript into my new forms. I get the objects onto my form, but they have no functionality! Does anyone know where I can read up on this sort of thing?
Is there a dummys guide to livecycle forms?

Folders:
       Unique ID
       Pane = 1 (Pane = 2 for Folder 2)
       From Pane = 0
       To Pane = 0
Items Inside TAB
       Unique ID
       From Pane = (For TAB 1 = 1 and Tab 2 = 2)
       To Pane = (For TAB 1 = 1 and Tab 2 = 2)

How can I configure and control a non-plug and play VXI card using the NI-controller (NI-VXI/NI-VISA software)?

Defining the slot, logical address and sending data across the card bus are the main operations I would like to perform. The non plug&play card is a VXI send & receive slave card. Low-level programming is probably required. Has anyone tried this before? If so I would be so grateful if you could share your experiences or refer me to someone who has.

VXI cards are, by specification, plug and play, so I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a "non plug&play card." I'm guessing that the card is effectively a VME card. In this case, you can just add the VME device in the proper configuration utility. Here is a link to a document on our website about configuring VME cards (http://ni.com/support/vxi/vmeinfo.pdf).
You should easily be able set the slot, pseudo Logical Address and memory space. Once configured, you should be able to write to registers using NI-VISA commands (viIn, viOut, and viMove). These high level commands are included in the highreg.c example which shipped with your NI-VISA software (installed in vxipnp directory).

How to add Software Library Location in OEM 11g to facilitate patching.

I'd like to use patching deployment to patch a gold copy oracle home, that is not being actively used.
I'm tryingt to configure the deployment setup and on the screen where it says.
Information
You are adding a Software Library location for the first time. Provisioning Archive (PAR) files in the directories $OMS_ORACLE_HOME/sysman/prov/paf and $OMS_ORACLE_HOME/sysman/admin/deploymentprocedures will be uploaded.
Add a new Software Library by specifying directory location. In case of multiple Oracle Management Service (OMS) setup, specify normal preferred credentials for each host running OMS.

when I enter a location , e.g
/oracleinstall/software/oemsoftwarelib
whos persmissions are as follows
drwx------ 2 oracle oinstall 4096 Feb 23 12:25 oemsoftwarelib
I get just get the following

does anybody know what the problem might be and which log exactly to look in?

Hi,
You should look at OMS log/trace files in the .../gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS<n>/sysman/log directory to get clues on the error.
Check Support Note 1156825.1, which documents a similar symptom.
Note that in a multi-OMS environment, the software library location must be readable and writable from all OMS hosts.

How to add a weblogic cluster in OEM 12c Cloud Control

I have created one SOA domain with a two node cluster. My cluster contains two servers; one on each machine. Now I want to monitor my domain with OEM 12c cloud control. I my OEM 12c cloud control I can add my weblogic domain but if that domain contains a cluster and in the cluster one server must be residing on the some other machine. Then how exacly in OEM 12c I can a add a target which is of type weblogic domain and contains a weblogic clusters with two servers?
Please advise on this..!!

EM12c can take care of multiple hosts during discovery and you don't have to do anything special, however, for SOA its advisable to have local agents monitor their individual hosts; hence, you should first discover both your hosts in EM first by pushing agents to each of the hosts using Setup>Add Targets>Add Targets Manually and then discover the SOA domain. You local agents will be picked up automatically that will eventually monitor your 2 nodes/servers.

How do I add a section in the latest pages with out it appending to the end of the document

Hello to all. I'm trying to figure out how to add a section between pages 14 and 15 in my document, but when I do this it adds a section brake between the last page of said document which is around page 31 or so. I want to remove a whole section and this seems to be the only way to do this.
I'm running osx10 Yosemite with pages 5.9. Any help here?

In TestStand 2012, the ReportHeader string no longer contains a <body> tag, so you can directly append the extra HTML to the parameter without needing to do a search and replace. The following expression worked in my case:

How to add a new server to the grid control

OEM 10g grid control has already bee installed n our site . But I don't know how a add /configure a new sever / database into that . Do I need to install the agent software on the destination machine OR is there any way to add the new sever from the 10g grid control itself ... Please help me out . How to add and configure a usb device driver in SRSS for Sunray?

Dear Sir,
If I want to use a usb device on Sunray 2 (the usb device is plugged into Sunray's usb port), and I have been developed a usb driver on Solaris 10. Can I install the same driver in SRSS host to active the usb device in Sunray? If it can, how do I configure SRSS and where is the location of SRSS drivers? Can I use add_drv similar command to add my driver to SRSS?
The second question is when I plug-in a usb device to Sunray, can I see device information (VID, PID, and so on) in any log file or by any command as "prtconf -v" on Solaris?

What sort of USB device do you want to use ?
The peripherals chapter in the SRSS admin guide tells you how to use supported USB devices.

Drivers written for Solaris devices will not work with Sun Ray devices. If you want to write a device driver for Sun Ray, it is recommended you use libusb for a userland driver. See libusb notes on same chapter mentioned above.
There is currently no SRSS utility to list Sun Ray device parameters like prtconf does.
You could write a libusb application to do this, or use the test program described here:

We need to add more summary data in the summary section. Some summary data need to calculated dynamically like (summary data A /summary data B).
under the worksheet, there is a link:

But this link allows to create Dynamic Columns for the worksheet, but not for summary setion.
Is any way to add more summary data in the summary section through personalization instead of customization (VO extension)?

How to add external jars in the configuration of JSmooth?

Hello,
I am trying to create an exe file from a java program using JSmooth.
The program is a simple hello world proogram.
I am developing under eclipse, and I am using some external jar files as libraries.
If my program is simple,; it works fine. If I add an import of a class that is in one of these jar files, I get the following error when executing the created .exe file:
"Could not find the main class. Program will exit".
I guess I have to add this Jar file to the path for the creation of the .exe file.
My question is: does anybody know HOW to add an external jar in the configuration of JSmooth for the creation of an exe file from a Java program?

How to add another operating system for Dual boot in Windows 7 boot configuration

I have dell laptop with excellent configuration. On which i had windows 7 Home premium on C Drive and Windows server 2008 on D Drive.
Now i upgraded my Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. But after fresh installation of Win 7 Ultimate my dual boot screen has gone and Win 7 is getting start directly.
Now i want to add my Windows server 2008 again for dual boot which is still on D Drive.
Can anyone please tell me how to add windows 2008 boot option in boot configuration to active my dual boot options.

1) Using bcdedit.exe /enum
To enable the computer to also boot Windows 7 you again use bcdedit.exe with the following command which will copy the current Windows
Boot Loader details for Windows Server 2008 to Windows 7.
bcdedit.exe /copy
{current} /d "Microsoft Windows 7"
bcdedit.exe will
respond with something like the following.
The
entry was successfully copied to {................................}.
Using
bcdedit.exe /enum to again enumerate through the current entries within the BCD store you'll see the newly added entry.
Before you can use the newly created Windows boot loader configuration, you'll need to change the partition for Windows 7 using
the following two bcdedit.exe commands.
bcdedit.exe /set {.................................} device partition=D:
bcdedit.exe /set {.................................} osdevice partition=D:
If you now reboot the system you should now be able to boot into either Windows Server 2008 or Windows 7.

How to add games in the add/remove section?

Having just switched from an other manufacture Netbook (total nightmare) to the Toshiba (amazing), my daughter (10) was wondering how come the number of games in the add / remove program is way less than in the other manufacture's add/remove program section?
Are there any other sources of games for this machine and if so, how do I add them to the add remove section?

The add remove programmes seems to be a cut down version of the package manager, which is normally run by the root/master user.
Go to preferences/main menu / administration and click on the synaptic package manager. This will add it to the menu selection under admin. Close the windows down.
Go to administration/synaptic package manager. This will open the add remove programmes in FULL.
You willl find many more games listed. The down side of adding this to the menu list i that it gives FULL access to operating system programmes as well as the games. Removal of some programmes from here could also remove dependancies for other programmes.
Perhaps you could set yourself up as the root user and add/remove programmes for her. Set her up without admin priveliges.
