Re: How to restore data after HDD format?

hi, folks
I need your help to restore some important data that gone after hdd formatting.
I didn't make any backup that was my mistake.
Everyone's help is appreciated.
Thanks to all.

Hi,
it's already late to say but it's always recommended to backup data on the external medias. First of all, don't touch your hard drive, I mean don't format/move partitions. Once, i had the same problem while creating acronis recovery zone on the hard drive. Something gone wrong and I lost some data that I wouldn't mind but I also had some files from webmoney system (its' virtual money that you can exchange for real one). I tried many programs like Ontrack.EasyRecovery.Professional and e.t.c. Only with Power.Data.Recovery software could restore it. note, it's not free but Google can help you

  • How to restore data after reinstall oracle

    My hard disk broke down yesterday before I awared to backup my oracle data. I could do nothing but reinstall the whole system(Windows & Oracle software).
    When I finished install all softwares, I found I can't reload the old tablespace data files to new oracle environment.
    Can anyone warn-heated tell me how to load the previous tablespace data files to new oracle environment? The old files for system, undo, temp (*.dbf) and user tablespaces as well as control files (*.ctl) and redo logs (redo*.log) are all intact in another hard disk.
    Environment: Win2k3 Server + Oracle10g.
    Appriciate any information and suggestion.

    Should we assume that during the time your database existed you didn't take a single backup and were not in archive log mode?
    Look into the "CREATE TABLESPACE" syntax with the REUSE keyword.
    Do not be surprised if you fail. Perhaps having confronted this you will use RMAN to make daily backups. <g>

  • How to restore data from my Time Capsule onto my new hard drive

    My Macbook's hard drive had to be changed, and I'm trying to restore files from my Time Capsule onto my new hard drive, but all I see are three sparsebundle files (one for each Mac we have at home, including my computer/old hard drive). From that point I don't know what else to do. If I click on it, it opens a dialogue that says "opening volumes" and it stays on that for a while.
    Does anyone know how to restore data backed up in my Time Machine from previous backups onto a new hard drive? Does it have to do with these sparsebundle files? Or, is there another way?

    Hello Alexevich. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
    Does anyone know how to restore data backed up in my Time Machine from previous backups onto a new hard drive?

  • How Adobe gets DATE and its format?

    Hello,
    I am getting current (todays) date by using below JS in some flds, and by using below FormCalc for some flds into my_form,
    JS:
    var currentTime = new Date()
    Form Calc:
    $.rawValue = num2date(date(), DateFmt(MM/DD/YYYY))
    But, i dont have much idea that how adobe is getting this date? For my company this is the very first form, hence they are asking me how adobe gets date and its format whether,
    1) From local IP/Interner provider address's date, format?
    2) or user PC/laptop's LOCAL settings date, format? if so, for example, if Germany user (Laptop settings) has a DD.MM.YYYY configured, if this user comes to US on a busines trip and if that user opens the form, then how the date looks like for this user? as per user laptop settings DD.MM.YYYY or local internat provider date format MM//DD//YYYY?
    Thank you

    Hi,
    the date() function returns the number of days since 01.01.1900 for the local date of the current system (related to the system clock of the OS).
    If you travel from Germany to the US but don't update your date/time settings, then it returns the same date in the US as in Germany.
    You can check the behavior by changing your local date/time setting or the timezones.

    You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
    You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

    If it backed up the lock file, then Lightroom was open when Time Machine ran, and the backup therefore may be corrupted.  You could try restoring that backup (without overwriting your week ago version) and see if it'll open.  If it does, you're off and running.  What methods have you tried?

    How to restore Data from past iCloud backup?
    Is there a way where i can retrieve my spreadsheets from the past iCloud backup of numbers?

    Your Numbers documents were synced with iCloud so they would be stored on the server rather than being included in the backup.  If you were signed into your iCloud account on a Mac that you were backing up with Time Machine, you could restore them from your Time Machine backup.

    Hi Vijay,
    Please open Microsoft Excel from your system and then create some entries (ex. having 3 columns and 3 rows). Save this file to some location in your system. Later you will need to give the location path of this saved file when uploading it from your web dynpro application.
    Creating of an Excel file (i.e the 4th step) is no where related to Web Dynpro and NWDS.
    Hope this helps!

    Hi
    I have truncated all the data of my all the tables accidentally. I Have rman backup of previous day. And the deletion occurred at 9:15am. I want to go back at 9:10 am. My database is in archive mode.
    How can I restore data until 9.10 am ? Any body explains me the rman command..
    Arif .

    Set the NLS parameters at shell prompt:
    NLS_LANG=american; export NLS_LANG

  • How to restore data files from a purchased app that isn't working

    I recently had to reset my iPad after an ios7 problem with hyperlinks.  The reset fixed the hyperlink problem but now I can't open excel or word files created in a purchased application, productivity suite.  When I click on the file, it starts to open then switches back to the app icon.  Tried deleting and reinstalling the app and now all the files are gone from my iPad.  I backed up my iPad to my desktop before deleting the app but can't figure out how to restore just the files I need.

    You should be able to mount the partition once you've loaded up the live CD. Just figure out which one it is by using
    fdisk -l
    then mount it to /mnt or wherever you want it.
    As for moving/saving them, I'm not entirely sure how to get them onto an external server. You might have to mount another partition in order to install any apps that you need to connect to an external server, but wait for someone who really knows to answer before you try it. If you're only talking about 4 or 5 MB, I would just mount a USB stick and dump them on there.
