RE: iMovie wont play 2 separate tunes?

I have tried importing a second audio clip into iMovie as I obviously don't want the same tune throughout the clip, but it doesn't play the second tune? Is the reason the same as a previous post/answer about the tune coming from iTunes Store & it being protected? - http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=884233&tstart=0
Or could there be another reason/something I'm doing wrong? If it is because the earlier version of iMovie doesn't play the protected purchased tracks, I will of course upgrade to iMovie HD?

Or, you can burn the purchased music to an audio CD and import from that...

Ipod wont play some tunes

I can't play some tunes on my ipod, any ideas?

I had this problem too, through screwing around I learned this. Sometimes, only AAC versions play on an Ipod. What I did was, delete the songs that didn't play from my playlists. Then I went into the songs portion of my Itunes library and right clicked on the song that did not previously play. After right clicking and getting a drop down menu, I clicked on create AAC version. A copy of that song then appeared below the original. After the AAC version was created the copy changed from a light black title to a full black title and the Itunes library gave me that "bling" sound effect. I then played the AAC copy to see if it was a true copy, it was, so I put the AAC version back onto my playlist. I then installed my Ipod shuffle, and also tried on my Nano and synced. The songs that previously did not play now did play. I then deleted the original copy in the songs list and kept the AAC version. (Don't know if deleting the original was a good idea or not, but did not want two copies of the songs, and didn't notice a difference in quality. Maybe Neil Young would notice but I couldn't . Imovie wont play videos

I have been using imovies without difficulty until yesterday when it started acting up. The video clips will not play the picture, but play the audio. The pictures in the project work fine, but again, the videos do not play. Any ideas?

I love these games where we have to guess what version of OS X and iMovie you are using, and what type of video file you have, but just to save time, caould you please enlighten us?

IMOVIE WONT PLAY CLIPS! 0 IN CORNER!

Ok, so this is the 3rd post ive made on the forums and it seems like no one can help me so im going to try one more time before i chuck this macbook out the window. Ive been editing reviews for games and movies for a while now and this is the first time this problem has ever happened. All my clips the the prject im reviewing now have been ripped and converted form the same source. The clips i added this morning work, but now its doing this thing yet again where whatever clip i convert to my .mp4 and import doesnt play! The audio is there and plays like normal but the actual scene it self is just a still image for how ever long the clip is. I dont understand whats happening and like i said i cant find anyone who can help me. Im begging here, please someone help me find a solution!
in the screen cap below you see a clip i imported that plays fine (the framemwith John Hammond) and next to it is the frame that will now not play at all, it has a little yellow 0 in the corner (i assume saying it has no fvrames per second) and only plays the audio of the clip.

Please start your own thread, stating what Mac you have, what operating system, what version of iMovie and what version of iPhoto, as well as what form of video clips they are.

Where did my audio go?IMOVIE wont play back audio

It was there yesterday and just to test it I re checked the tape which did have audio then dropped a song in the timeline from itunes. No audio playback? for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to play?

Two things possible I guess...
*Is the little box checked at the end of the timeline (there
are three and all should be checked to be sure)
*You may have to play your song in itunes first before importing into imovie and if that doesn't do it, burn a CD and reimport from there.

Hello all - I had the same problem with my iPod Touch - The problem with mine was that it started happening when I added new music to my iPod Touch it started skipping most of the songs when I tried playing it in my car stereo, it would only play some songs but not all (my solution) - I back tracked and deleted ALL the NEW songs that I had added recently and after deleting ALL the new songs I tested my iPod Touch and it started working normal again so the problem wasn't the iPod Touch the problem was one or more of the new songs I added was corrupted and it was causing my iPod to skip most of the songs I tried to play - Nothing I tried was helping NOTHING - All you need to do is back track to all the songs you added recently and delete them until your iPod Touch starts functioning normal again...Hope this helps it sure helped me ;-)

im using windows and when i open i tunes and click on a song the diamond will show that the song is playing but it wont play the song. my winamp works fine so the sound is fine on the computer. im stumped...

I'm having a simialr problem except that itunes will work for awhile and then stops working. I click on a track in my library and the play pause icon toggles, but the track does not begin to play. I can drag the diamond on the progress bar or use the fast forward / rewind controls and the daimond responds, but the track will not play. Happens regardless of the source I select. Shutting down itunes and re-starting itunes does not solve the problem. I have to re-boot to get ti going again.

MPEG-4 in i-Tunes but wont play in i-Pod

I transferred my regular MPEG to MPEG-4 through quicktime pro. Couldnt export it to i-Tunes though, so I dragged it onto i-Tunes. It shows up and plays with no sound, but after I click update i-Pod, it still wont play on the i-Pod.
I purchased some videos from i-Tunes, and they work perfectly. It's just that my own personal ones dont seem to on my windows XP.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, my videos are not there at all on the i-Pod, but the videos I bought from i-Tunes all show up and play. And I have constantly updated i-Pod and i-Tunes.
Strange thing is, ALL the videos (mine and purchased i-Tunes) show up in i-Tunes and can play in i-Tunes.

4th gen wont play my music not bought in I tunes

Help! My ipod keeps forwarding through my tunes but wont play any music!!

Hello all, I am hoping that someone can shed some light on this problem.
I was in the gym, litening to my ipod and went to forward a song then it just started to forward though the lot and wont play any songs!!

That happened to my iPod. Have you tried either restarting your iPod nano or so hold the menu and the select button down until the apple logo appears. Or go to your menu, and let it scroll through all of the songs on your iPod and after that it should be fine. Thats what I did for mine. I hope this works!
