Re-install Acrobat XI Standard for windows.

I've deactivated my Acrobat XI Standard, re-installed windows, and now I cannot see how to download Acrobat XI Standard. Please Help. I bought Acrobat XI Standard through Dell.

Dell should have a link for you to download it thru your account with them.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Standard for Windows upgrade to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for OS X

I have changed the platforms, from win to mac, and Adobe Acrobat is required for my work. I own Adobe Acrobat XI Standard for Windows and I was interested if I could change the platform to OS X, but unfortuantelly XI Standard is not available for mac. Also, I could not find a way on Adobe.com site to upgrade XI Standard to XI Pro and then change the platform.
    Please advise.

I believe Adobe have been known to deal with "crossgrades" before, but you would need to contact sales in person to deal with this.

I don't believe there is any download available for Standard versions that old, but if you have a disc copy you can try using that.

Also, once you successfully install, please backup the install file to a separate HD and/or CD. I agree that your comment is not clear. You say you installed it, but it is simply in the download folder. Did you run the install file that you downloaded? The download does not install the program, but the install is an extra step.

  • Upgrading Acrobat XI Standard for Windows to XI Pro for Mac

I recently purchased a SnapScan Scanner that came with a full version of Acrobat XI Standard for Windows.  I have a Mac, and as Adobe doesn't make a Standard for Mac, I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade to Pro using the serial number I already have rather than purchase a whole new version.  Is this doable?  I attempted to use the serial number in the Pro download and it wouldn't take.

  • Is there a way to install Adobe Acrobat XI Standard for Windows on Mac?

    Dear Acrobat Support Team!
I bought a Fujitsu Scanner with Adobe XI Standard.
Unfortunately, the software is only for PC and I am a Mac user. Is there a way for me to use this software or serial key on my  Mac?
    Thank you very much, ShuretzZ

Only by running Windows (Boot Camp or Parallels Desktop). You'd also have to buy a copy of Windows 7 or Windows 8.

  • After Installing Acrobat X Standard, Cannot print from another Windows Program

I am having a strange problem.  Once I installed Acrobat X Standard, another Windows based program stopped printing.  It now comes up with a usp10.dll error, but most of the time it just crashes the program.  Tried reinstalling the program and no luck.  The error points at a Helvetica Font being the culprit that was installed with Acrobat.  I am not sure how to clear this up.
    Thanks

I have not removed it.  One of the things I did try was going into the Registry and to FontSubstitutions and change the Helv to Helv,186 or something like that.

Trying to install Acrobate 8 Standard on PC with Windows 7, 64 bit. During the installation I was asked to provide "File Adobe PDF.dll for Windows Vista. How can I obtain the required file?

Nothing in the Acrobat 8.x product family is compatible with Windows 7 (or any contemporary OS).
The Acrobat 8.x product family passed into End of Support way back -- (November 2011).
The current release of Acrobat (XI) is compatible in Windows 7.
    Be well...

  • How to install or enable Acrobat X SDK for Windows

Ok down that I have downloaded Acrobat X SDK for Windows.
DUUUU How do I install it?? The only setup.exe is located in Visual Studio App Wizard.
I have Professional X.....do I add it from this program some how?
    thanks
    mike

There is nothing to install as such.
SDK is basically set of public headers , documentation related to them and some samples to demonstrate the usage of these public APIs to write third-party plugins/samples.
You can write your own Acrobat/Reader plugin/App using the SDK.
The setup.exe you found is the plugin-wizard which will install template for Acrobat Plugin on VS9. If you are developing on VS9, it will be useful for you to install this template.
Please refer to the SDK Documentation for the details on how to use the SDK (for writing plugins).

    Hi Dcee3,
Acrobat Standard has not been developed for Mac platform so Mac version is not available. It can only run on windows machine.

  • Problem installing Acrobat 9 standard

    Hi,
I am trying to install Acrobat 9 Standard. I am getting the error message: "Acrobat has detected another process which has not yet completed. You need to restart the system in order to complete this process". Unfortunatly, after many restarts, It still odes the same thing. I have tried reinstalling windows installer, uninstalling everything adobe related, Except "Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin" which shows up in add/remove programs, but with no change or remove button. Is there something in the regisrty that AA is looking at that tells it there is another install process that hasn't finished yet? Or is there some other way to get around this?
    Thanks

    deleted the preferences
    repaired the program
    changed profiles
    loaded it without extra applications
... nothing seems to keep this from crashing windows...
My workstation is a Dell Optiplex 755 running Windows XP sp3 with 3.25gb RAM.
