Re-install Leopard using OSX 10.4 install disc? Please Help!

Hi,
my MacBook's harddrive broke down about a year ago. I took it to an official Apple shop where they took it and fixed it, and even were so kind as to install Leopard on it (before that I had Tiger).
Ever since everything's been fine. However, recently, I've been having some problems with my MacBook which are kind of driving me crazy, and I'm looking into re-installing the whole thing to just start with a clean slate.
I know I can do this using Time Machine, only problem is, for that to work I need an Install disc/DVD. I only got the ones I received with my MacBook, which are apparently 'Mac OSX version 10.4.10', from back when I was running Tiger.
Now, will it be possible to re-install everything with a Time Machine-backup using these (Tiger)discs? And get all my old stuff back to the way it is now, running Leopard? Because I never received any Install Discs/DVDs for OS 10.5 ...
Any help/insight would be appreciated, as I don't want to risk being unable to recover my Leopard-based stuff with these older DVDs.

The shop should have given you the Leopard install DVD.
You have to buy a retail copy and then you can re-install and recover your TM backups.
Tiger won't be able to recover the TM backups w/o jumping through a lot of hoops as it's not a supported configuration.
