Hi, ok thanks.
Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer for IE- use the EXE Installer
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
Close all browser windows, you only want to be looking at your Desktop.
Disable any messenger services, as yahoo, msn, etc in the system tray(area near the clock)
Be sure to use the Administrator Account.
Run the Uninstaller and when finished, Reboot(restart) your computer.
Run the Installer for IE, and when finished, Reboot.
Then go to this test site and test your IE browser
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
You should be able to see the Flash logo animation(spinning) and version 10.2.152.26 displayed
You may want to print these instructions to make it easier to follow. If you have any questions, let me know.
Let me know if you have any questions,

  • Firefox 4 wont even start up now. how do i uninstall firefox 4 and install previous version

want to know how to uninstall firefox 4 and install previous version. also where to get download of previous version

Your problem is caused by the Ask Toolbar which you have installed. There are compatibility issues between Ask and Firefox at the moment.
Please do the following to ensure a clean installation.<br><br>
#Use Internet Explorer to download Firefox 4.0.1 from this link: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/?ref=logo Download Firefox 4.0.1] and choose "'''Save'''" when you see the prompt. Then save it to your desktop. ''Do not choose "Run"''.<br><br>
#Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').<br><br>
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox<br><br>
#Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.<br>
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.<br>
Next, click the Firefox button and go to Add-ons, then Extensions. Find the Ask Toolbar in there and click "Remove".
If you would still prefer to use the previous secure version, use this download link instead of the one to v4.0.1: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] Otherwise the installation procedure and removal of the Ask Toolbar is the same.

  • How Do I Remove Flash 11 and install previous version?

    Hi Everyone,
While Flash Player 11 seems to work for me with most things (e.g. YouTube, most news and video sites, etc),  I find that it is crashing all the time when playing browser based games that use flash.
I was over on Yahoo's website http://games.yahoo.com/free-games/ and found that it kept crashing on this page or crashing when trying to load any of the games listed on that page.
Given these problems (and judging by the numerous posts on this forum... it looks like there are many issues with version 11), how can I uninstall Adobe Flash 11 and restore it back to version 10, x, x, x ??
(Note: I am using x's just because I don't remember exactly what the previous version of Flash was)

  • Install previous versions of Media Encoder?

I recently updated to Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014, and not wanting to keep older apps on my PC, uninstalled Adobe Media Encoder CC (the previous version). As luck would have it, I need the previous version, as Adobe has ceased supporting the FLV video format in Media Encoder CC 2014, per this posting: http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2014/06/removal-flv-f4v-swf-export-adobe-media-encoder -after-effects-premiere-pro.html
I have visited this page, http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=160&platform=Windows, but after downloading and trying a few options I have found that these are just patches/updates, and I receive an "Update Failed Updates could not be applied" message.
So, I'd like to install (while keeping the current version) the previous version on Media Encoder. Is this possible? I so, what web page do I find that on?

Only once have I ever installed After Effects or Premier, and I already had Media Encoder before doing so. For example, with the old Creative Suite DVDs, I was able to select the individual install of Media Encoder without either of those programs.
But now, I would at least like to have the last version of Media Encoder to support the FLV format, which was Media Encoder CC (not CC 2014). So I'm still needing to find where I begin the download or install process of:
    - Adobe Media Encoder CC
    - Or, as you say, Adobe After Effects CC
How do I find those on the adobe.com website? Whenever I find files related to previous versions, they are only updates, but not the actual program installs.

  • Re-install previous version of firefox instructions dont work

I upgraded to firefox 4 then found it was not compatible with some of my other software. I am trying to return to the prvious version. When I did the install it appeared to work until I got to launch firefox now - the launch did not happen. On my desktop was a generic icon that said mozilla ( not the normal icon) - when I clicked it I got message searching for firefox exec. I tried removing the program and alkl related files. Can you tell me how to restore the previous version - I tried to follow some instructions I found but the link was no good. Thanks

  • Install previous version after effects

    Hi,
I have given up trying to get Premiere CC14 and After Effects CC14 to work.  I have wasted a whole day and lost a project.
MTS file will not read in Prem CC14 after repeated attempts at moving files, renaming folders, sign-out and sign-in, rebooting etc
These same files work just fine in Prem CC....go figure.
Going to stick with previous version except that I uninsulated After Effects CC V12.2.2 and can't seem to find it any where.
It does not appear in my Adobe Desktop app.
Can some one please direct me to an install for this ?
    Thanks
    Mitch
    *** SOLVED
You need to go to the Desktop App and select "Filter Apps" under the find new app section and choose previous version

  • Unable to install previous version

Yahoo GameChannel uses Flash but did not work on my new
    laptop.
I e-mailed Yahoo and received the following reply...
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Sports.
I appreciate your inquiry with regards to MLB StatTracker not
    updating
    in real-time.
Regretfully, the latest version of Adobe Flash is not
    compatible with
    StatTracker.
If MLB StatTracker does not update in real-time please remove
    Adobe
    Flash Player version 9.0.124.0.
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove
    Programs -> Remove
    Adobe Flash Player.
Once you have removed Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.124.0
    please
download Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player 9.0.115.0.
I downloaded the "previous versions" from Adobe and tried to
install 9.0.115.0 but get the following error:
"The Version of Adobe Flash Player ActiveX you are trying to
install is not the most current version.
    Please visit
    http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
to obtain the latest, most secure version."
Why am I forbidden to install pervious versions that actually
work, when the latest version does not work with my application?
    Please HELP! I need StatTracker/Gamechannel !
    Thanks,
    Majestyk007

It shouldn't be necessary to reboot the computer to complete an update.<br />
If a reboot is needed then that usually means that some (security) software is blocking files or you need elevated (UAC) permissions.<br />
Run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator).<br />
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall.<br />
Download a fresh copy of Firefox ([http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html]) and do a reinstall of Firefox on top of the current version.<br />
If that still causes the same problem then do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder.<br />

  • How to uninstall QT 7.1.5 and install previous version

Can someone advise how to uninstall new version of QuickTime 7.1.5 and install a previous version (7.1.3). The new version seems to have issues (I have software that no longer plays back video... and was working fine before new version).
    Mac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Problems with QT 7.1.5 are not limited to Turbo Tax or to particular versions of OSX. If you read the website Macfixit, you will find that many people with many different programmes and system versions are having serious problems with this update of QT, including a stall on the update itself. I phoned tech services in Canada under my AppleCare programme and reached them this morning (March 11) and the technician I spoke with had NO KNOWLEDGE of the many many problems with this updater. I told him that APPLE should immediately remove it from circulation until it is fixed. He said he would report it but he was not enthusiastic nor did he sound overly concerned so I don't know that he will. I also asked for advice about uninstalling 7.1.5 and the only sure thing he could recommend was to re-install the entire system. Not a satisfactory option. But if you are interested, go to Macfixit.com and look for their document on uninstalling it. But as for APPLE, I suggest that everyone having problems after installing 7.1.5 OR with the downloading itself phone APPLE and demand that they pull 7.1.5 from circulation AND provide us, on their website, with their instructions about uninstalling it. This kind of negligence has become too typical of APPLE of late - not the old style APPLe that I came to love and depend upon - and only if we demand more responsibility from them do we have any hope of things changing for the better.

  • How to install previous version of FC

I have an imac 24" 2007 edition, Apple dropped support without warning for this computer when it upgraded to FC to 10.1.
Unfortunately, the App marketplace did not detect that my computer was incompatible and attempted to install 10.1 anyway. Not
only did it not upgrade, but it ruined the funcioning version I had on my computer.
The question is how to install the previous version of FC since it is not available on the App store?

The earlier versions of FC were definitely compatible. I did get an error message when I tried to download the latest version, however, it did not say anything about it being incompatible. It just gave me a generic error message after it partially downloaded the app.
After a few attempts, i gave up and decided to keep my previous version. Except now, every time I try to launch FC, it reconnects to the app store to finish the download. The previous installed version does not work.
I need apple to post a link so that I may download the previous version, I paid for the software, I should be able to use it.

  • Installing previous versions of ilife on (mid 2007) imac

deciding about ordering my a new 20" imac 2.4GHZ to replace my G5 imac. I enjoy ilife '08 for some things and still use imovie HD 6.3 for my video editing. I even use the themes from earlier imovie's. Can I install earlier versions of imovie from my iLife '04,'05, '06 discs, while leaving ilife '08 still installed on my new imac (mid 2007) so idvd an iphoto and iweb are the latest. I guess I may want to Manually install earler versions of ilife and then re-install ilfe '08 from the install disc of the new imac, and its really the idvd themes from current to past, that I still want access to.
    Any help is appreciated

I guess what I really need to do is wait till Leopard is released, a better buying decision anyway for a new mac.
    1. Then reformat drive install Leopard 10.5.x with out installing iLife Applications then install iLife '06 and then use the install disc that came with my new mac to upgrade the iLife apps to life '08 and I will still have imovieHD in a separate folder automatically.
    2. If, take a new imac (mid 2007 ) out of the box and open idvd and click on the themes button will it show idvd themes 7/ 6 / 5 / and older themes? I guess that is the main question that I have?

  • Installing previous version of Safari

I am running Safari 5.1 on Snow Leopard and would like to go back to the previous version of Safari (5.0.5?). How can I do that?
    Thanks.

If you have the older Safari version on a TimeMachine backup you can simply restore it to your applications folder. If not, download and run the 10.6.8 Update Combo from Apple http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 and it will bring you back to 5.0.5. Both methods worked for me without any issues.

  • Install previous version

I recently had a computer crash and had to install all my software. I installed LV2009 but now find I need to also have 8.6.1 available. I tried installing but get the message "...will not install, newer version is installed". Unfortuntely when I try to use the necessary drivers (niDMM, niDAQmx etc. ) I get the message "cannot use newer version".
Is there any way to have two completely independant versions of Labview installed and functional on the same PC?

I'm going to ditto S_FC for two reasons.
First- While it is possible to install in any order some components of a PDS do act funny.  Imagine my chargrin when I launch the app builder from 2009 and it pulled up the app builder from my most reciently installed version 7.1.   Failing this approach you will need to do a custom install and really KNOW what components you want and which components you should not install.

  • Install previous version 8 or 9,  manual install?

If the installer isn't working for some reason, can I do a manual install of version 8.2 or 9.4 for Windows (XP, SP 3)?   Can't find a link for it, sorry!
    Thank you
    Vekkus4

Here is why I want a MANUAL install, not the wizard.  Bear with me, there are several parts to the adventure
    1) Tried to open a PDF from 2006.  It is a blank tax form, but I was hoping I had filled it out!
    2) Then reader 10.2.whatever gave me some useless error message about some features being not available.
    3) Then tried to install version 8.whatever by the wizard on the page you sent me.  I was hoping this would let me see my info from the form. (It eventually turns out to be empty)
    4) Then the installer wizard gave a helpful error message about uninstalling 10.2
    5) There were many parts to uninstall from 10.2 so it looks like I didn't install enough parts
    6) So I couldn't get rid of the error message from the wizard, so that is why I asked the question.
Sometimes it pays to be tenacious, but it helps to be tenacious in the right direction
    Thank you :-)

  • Install previous version of app in creative cloud?

    Hi,
due to the fact that the new Acrobat XI(installed via Creative Cloud) doesnt work with my ancient Office2003 I want do downgrade to Acrobat X which runs well with it. How can I do that?
Is it possible to run both versions parallel on one machine?
    best regards
    jo

I read this compatibility info too and so I did the update...
Word an Excel looking fine for the first impression. There is the choice "Adobe PDF" in the topmenubar so I think the addons are included. But the behavior of those two guys is different.
Word - choosing "convert to PDF" (sorry, I translate this because I use the German version) to save a document as PDF-file leads directly to a crash of Word - bang. After restart of word it repairs the previous document which was destroyed.
Excel - choosing "convert to PDF" shows a menu of Acrobat PDFMaker. When I choose "convert" a popup says "PDFMaker cant find the ADOBE PDF Printer driver. Please install Acrobat again". Then the return to excel an no crash.
With Acrobat 10 which I also installed with my creative cloud account all seems to be fine.
Now I did a new installation of Acrobat 11 but there is no change... :`-(
    best regards
    jo
