bonjour,
Nous avons desinstaller muse par erreur.
mais il apparait toujours dans creative cloud.
ce qui nous empêche la ré-installation de celui-ci
Merci de nous donner la marche à suive.

    Keine ahnung, aber sieht so aus, als ob vom vorherigen Install noch irgendwelche Referenzen im Dateisystem vorhanden sind. In dem Fall müßte man die wohl einfach manuell löschen und es dann noch mal versuchen, also beispielsweise dein Alias auf dem Dock/ Launchpad in die Tonne kloppen und den Papierkorb auch leeren...

  • CCP installs Muse to "C:\Program" ?

    Hi all,
    Has anyone else had issues deploying Muse as part of a CCP package (Windows 7, x64)?
    Every time so far it seems to dump it into a folder "C:\Program" ... which obviously Winodws takes exception to and renames. But on the next boot the folder is back again, so Windows renames it again, ad infinitum. You end up with a bunch of folders "C:\Progra~1" "C:\Progra~2" and so on.
    I've tried remaking CCP packages, I've tried installing on different PCs, this is always choosing the default install location.

    Edit the ExceptionConfig file.  It is just an XML file.  If you reformat it so it is not all stored on one line you need to edit line 109.  Otherwise serach for the section for Muse and edit the Argument that has the [INSTALLDIR] value. 
    [INSTALLDIR] needs to be enclosed in quotes.  Edit that value key to look like this:
    <Argument name="installerArg4=&quot;[INSTALLDIR]&quot;"/>
    Then you can run the ExceptionDeployer.exe and it will install correctly.
    If you are installing manually and setting the install directory be sure to enclose it in quotes or use the 8.3 filename path to install.

  • Muse Installer file is damaged?

    I was prompted to update Muse when launching and after I did so it said the installer file was damaged. I have un-installed and re-installed and the application manager says that Muse is installed but is nowhere to be found on my harddrive.
    I found another post in here that give a link for a new installer (muse 2-2 install mac.dmg) but now I am back to the beginning ... "installer file damaged"
    (working on a Mac)
    Any help would be great at this point.

    Basically it is suggested if you are a creative cloud user to uninstall everything and reinstall.

  • Can't find Muse

    through the CLOUD, I downloaded and installled Muse using the application manager - Applicaiton manager shows it as "installed" but I can't find it in the applicaitons folder nor can spotlight find it. What gives?

  • How do I download MUSE again after having accidentally deleted it

    Hello!
    I am in a dilemma. After having accidentally deleted MUSE from my computer (!!), I am now unable to download it again from CC. It says it is already updated, but that is no comfort in this situation. I need to download it. Is there any help to get?

    Sorry, but I use the Mac.
    The problem was solved. Adobe has a small piece of software. It deletes all rests of software pieces on the computer. Muse was gone, but evidentally not small files belonging to Muse. The program erased everything, and now CC thought (rightly so) thought I had not installe Muse and allowed me to do so!

    Hi HSPANHS,
    Look into your controlpanel and see if muse is still there. If so, delete it.
    Then you will be able to download it again.

  • Adobe Muse CC (2014) - Installation Fails, then Finishes, but no application.

    I'm having trouble installing Muse. the installer gets to 84% and fails.
    I've uninstalled, repaired permissions, booted from repair partition and repaired, zapped PRAM and then tried them all again twice, but it still doesn't install.
    Here's the error that I get:
    Clicking the link only takes me to a blank Summery.htm
    I've seen this thread but it didn't fix anything: Update Muse CC failed, I tried again but it didn't work. All other 6 updates succeeded. Message was: installation failur…
    And I've tried everything on this page multiple times: Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps
    After clicking on "Retry" multiple times, it eventually installs, but the application is not in my Application folder and is nowhere to be found. I quit the Creative cloud app and relaunch it after a "Successful Install'" but the application isn't installed and the CC app shows that I need to upgrade it.
    Muse CC shows up as installed even though I uninstalled it.
    I've updated it several times, but it still will either fail, or finish and not actually install anything.
    ** UPDATE **
    Tried installing on another computer. while the install said it failed, the application appeared in the application folder and it worked. It failed at 84-85% and apparently the uninstaller wasn't installed. I copied the Muse CC 2014 folder to my machine, restarted the creative cloud app and everything works. no idea why the CC app fail to install Muse, but the act of uninstalling it the first time removed my ability to reinstall Muse. It's working now but was a pain.

    Same thing here. Will have to work with ver. 7.4 until you guys figure out what the issue is. Please let me know how to resolve.
    This update installation process is completely different from previous ones where updates would install within Muse application; this update takes you to Adobe application website - offers "Download" of Muse 2014. This is confusing to me...does this mean download a completely new Muse or install an update? Clicking download offers me all CC applications "Try, try, try" etc. or, for Muse to "Install". Clicking install eventually brought me to OP's issue above.
    Please help...

  • Adobe Muse install problem April 2014 - Errors encountered during installation (7).

    ERROR: Third party payload installer InstallAdobeMuse.exe failed with exit code: 7
    This is the 3rd time that I have lost my Muse installation. Yes, the app just disappeared. Uninstallers cannot find it. A search cannot locate any files. It just disappeared from my computer. When I attempt to reinstall through CC Desktop App, I get the "ERROR: Third party payload installer InstallAdobeMuse.exe failed with exit code: 7" message. Yes, I was logged in to Adobe during the attempts. I downloaded and used the Adobe cleaner to clean the app but since there is no app, there is nothing to clean. I shut down anti-virus and firewall but won't install. Installation failed at 53%, 80% and 93%. Other apps (Illustrator CC, etc.) work fine. Is this a problem with Windows installer?

    Let me tell you, I am elated! I did go through the instructions in the site you linked to (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html), and did two things:
    In the section named Solution 1, number 3: renamed the AdobePatchFiles to AdobePatchFiles_old. I didn't do any of the others, because I picked a likely culprit out of the 4 actual options listed, and got lucky I guess.
    Next, I found a folder named Adobe Muse in my drive and just deleted the whole puppy. Btw, it was not in the place where I expected it to be (x64 > Adobe > Muse) but in another Adobe folder. I wish apps would stay put in one place and not spread themselves all over the folder structure. Could be a MS problem and not sofware developers, but I don't want to put blame where it doesn't belong.
    Next, I went back to CC Desktop and clicked on Muse install and voila, it installed. Now, I just have to see if it gets corrupted again. I hope not. You may see me back in this forum

    Alauda_positos I would recommend reviewing your installation log files to determine the exact directory which the installer is unable to access.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors discovered to this discussion.

  • Muse (Re-)Installation/Updating Issues

    Hi all,
         I have been experiencing trouble in (re)installing Adobe Muse. I had Muse prior to the release of Adobe CC, and potentially during the beta. Around the time CC was released, a screen would appear on the launch of Muse stating that there was an update available (this message was not from CC or AAM, it seemed local to the program). When I would attempt to update through it, Muse and the associated 'popup' would crash, when the progress bar was approximately halfway finished; no error message showed prior to crash. Upon relaunching Muse, the same "update available" popup would show (I believe the update at the time was for parallax scrolling. I also may have been behind more than one version).
         This was all fine as I had no need for parallax scrolling at the time, and could simply say I didn’t wish to update at the time, allowing me to use the current version. After doing this for some time, I began to get annoyed at the need to dismiss the message every time I tried to use the program (along with not being able to find anything on Adobe’s forums adressing the issue). I decided to try and uninstall and reinstall the program, hoping this would help (by this point I had a CC subscription), however upon attempted reinstallation (through the CC desktop program), while the installation seemingly ran fine (it went at a normal rate to, I think, 57%, at which point it would finish the rest exceedingly quickly. This was reproducable, and still is, so if further information is needed on that, I can just run it again) and the CC desktop program states that Muse is installed. However, when looking at my installed programs list (through the control panel) it shows Adobe Muse as installed, but as taking up 0 bytes of data, and when looking through program files (standard and x86), I can find no evidence of folders or files pertaining to Muse (I retried uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times, but to no avail, along with things such as clearing the registry of old entries, rebooting the machine, making sure the firewall and anti-virus programs I have were not somehow blocking CC, so on and so forth. I have been able to install other programs from CC, and it is not a licensing issue as I am able to install Adobe Muse on another computer of mine (which did not have it installed prior) through the CC desktop program).
         Please keep in mind that my memory of all these events are not perfect, and this is just an attempt of mine to best recall what happened, given that most of this occured a while back and I simply haven't had the chance to post here until recently. My computer is an HP Pavilion running Windows 7 Ultimate, with 3rd gen i7 cores, and an NVIDIA Geforce GT 650M graphics card. Any and all thoughts appreciated, and I can supply more details regarding my computer or procedure upon request.

  • Muse CC 2014.1 Installation Fails

    I have been using Muse CC 2014 on a PC with a fully-updated version of Windows 7. Recently, the CC Desktop App informed me that a new version was available so I tried to install it from there. I got the error message below.

    I totally uninstalled the old version. I made sure (as best I could) that there were no partial versions of Muse anywhere on my computer.
    After much Googling, I did (or attempted to do) everything suggested on this page Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation except for running the Adobe Cleaner Tool. I did not run the Adobe Cleaner Tool because I don't want to have to reinstall Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Encore, and all the other stuff I use every day.
    I have tried other stuff but nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I was able to uninstall and update other apps both immediately before and immediately after I started having trouble with Muse. I use most of the CC suite and Muse is the only one that is giving me problems. The two previous versions (CC and CC 2014) worked fine and I had no problem with updates or new versions. Muse 2014.1 installed just fine on the PC laptop I use sometimes but it isn't installing on my desktop PC.
    The install location is C:\Program Files\Adobe.
    Below are all the errors listed in the log. I am including them in context so you can see what came before and after. If you need me to post the whole log, I can do that.

    Cannot install Muse trial because the installation package says it is corrupt. I tried to download the Englisch and the Dutch versions both, but both with the same message: contact the 'maker' of te program. So here I am, big 'maker'... pleas help.
    My computer with my Muse licence was stolen last week so I need the trial to finish an important project, aaaaarrrrrgggg!
    The message I got: Sorry, er is een fout optgetreden. De toepassing kon niet worden geïnstalleerd, omdat het installatiebestand beschadigd is. Probeer een nieuw installatiebestand te krijgen van de toepassingsauteur.
    In English: Sorry, an error has occurred. The program cannot be installed because it is damaged. Try to get a new one.
