  • Option "SAP system" missing in SAP installer Win 2003 (32 bit)

    Hi
    We have SAP NW 7.0 SR3 & SAP ERP 6.0 SR3
When we are trying to install SAP ERP/ NW using master installer on Win 2003 32 bit (any database) the installation option "SAP Systems" is missing.
The same is available in Win 64 bit installation.
We have copied product.catalog file from 64 bit setup to 32 bit setup and started sapinst.exe again.
    It worked fine.
ECC has been installed and we are able to thru SAP GUI (thick client).
Is it OK to do so?
Was this intentional or a bug in setup?
    Thanks in advance !
    Ruhi/ Ritesh

    Hi Ruhi,
New installation of ECC6 is for 64 bit only. You can not have 32bit installation any more.
    That can be a reason.

  • Satellite Pro P300: Error after BT stack 8.00.02 installation WIN 7 32bit

I Upgraded my Satelite Pro P300 from Vista to Win7 Pro 32-bit.
The existing drivers and programs had (compatibility) issues with Win 7 whitch was indicated when installing Win 7 Pro 32bit.
So I download and instal this newest stack.
In the hardware devices there are 3 BT ports. But the software, (settings, communcations, etc) does not start..
by example: BtAssist.exe - runtime failure (dutch: toepassingsfout), Cannot correctly start this applicaton (0xc00000be, click Ok to exit).
    Anyone any Ideas?
Every thing worked fine before installen Win 7.
    Thanks already
    Eric

    Hi
Did you make a clean Win 7 installation or did you upgrade the Vista to Win 7?
I recommend a clean Win 7 installation. This is better because an upgrade from Vista to Win 7 could leave some junk on the HDD and some Vista tools/drivers would not be fully compatible with the Win 7 OS.
So make a clean Win 7 installation and then download and install the newest BT stack from this page:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
    Good luck

  • Satellite Pro L550 - WLAN doesn't work after new Installation Win 7/64 Pro

    Hi,
I installed a real Win 7 / 64 professional full version on my Sat Pro L550-199, PSLW9E. Now I can't switch on my WLAN. The big FN-bottons doesn't exist. I tried lots of driver I found on the Toshiba Support page.
Whitch is the right, or is Win 7 / 64 professional not supported with WLAN?
How I can switch on WLAN without the FN-Key?
    Lenny

    Hi Lenny-27-7,
Is your WLAN card installed properly in device manager? It must be listed under network devices without yellow exclamation marks. So you can make sure that WLAN card is installed.
For all FN keys you have to install Value Added Package and Flash Cards Support Utility. Both tools can be downloaded on official Toshiba page where you can find the WLAN driver too:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers
If you have installed everything you can start with WLAN configuration :)

Installed and verified CS6 successfully as Administrator.
Works perfectly as Administrator. But as a user impossible.
The installation & activation was done as Administrator.
But when the user log-in and attempt to open the software - eg InDesign - error: 213:11 is displayed.

Well, you need to be able to run the pertinent licensing service and allow access to the PCD folder. sounds like you have overdone with your group policies and permissions to restrict privileges....

  • Premiere Pro CS4 crashes on startup after installation (Win XP x64)

    Hello,
I've had no such luck getting PP working on Win XP x64, I've installed everything else and checked to make sure its working correctly from the master collection, but PP is giving me a hard time.  After reading much of the other discussion on this problem, I have yet to find a solution that works for me, things I've tried thus far:
    - Re-installing
    - Re-installed fonts etc.
    - Switched user accounts
    - Removed Quicktime
None of these have worked, Adobe's error reporting tool is garbage I cant even read the crash report data, so I'm stuck......anyone have any good ideas throw them up here, otherwise its time to get angry with tech support....

Sorry to bump a dead thread, but I fixed OP's problem on my computer after doing pretty much all he had done. I signed up for anyone else that might be looking for a solution to this problem.
Browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS4"
Find "Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" and right click it and click on "Properties".
Go to the "Compatability" tab and check "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and select "Windows XP" in the drop down list. If you arent on an administrative acount, you may have to switch to it and select "Allow non-admins to run this prog". I tried this after reinstalling, changing the path, removing any registry entry I could find with "premiere" in it, and even trying to use a pirated version. Before you go pointing fingers about that, I get the entire adobe production and design suite for free thanks to my school, IUPUI (http://uitsnews.iu.edu/2008/12/10/new-agreement-makes-adobe-software-available-on-iuware/)  and I needed it for an assignment. Protip, adobe: The pirated version actually launched correctly once, but after a system restart, crashed on start up like before. Just something to think about.
Heres a launch shot + system specs for a refrence:

  • Adobe Reader X Installation Win 7

    Hello All,
I am trying to install Adobe Reader X on my computer which is running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, however I am getting an error.
PS, the setup/installation file I am trying to download is "install_reader10_en_aih.exe" from Adobe's website. The file is 766KB, but under http://get.adobe.com/reader/ it says 51.95MB beside it.
Needless to say the error I am receiving is:
At which the setup/installation file gets automatically deleted from my computer.
    Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Download and run the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • Cisco Connect installation WIN 8

Trying to install Cisco Connect for E1200 connected to new WIN 8 desktop.  I have downloaded latest WIN 8 rev.   Want to retrieve my password info long forgotten.  Cisco Connect won't install unless I have username and password.   Help - I am lost!

If your router was already setup and you decided to install cisco connect to retrieve the password, it will not work. The only time that Cisco Connect will be able to provide this information is if you already installed Cisco Connect before the router was configured.
What you can do is to reset the router back to factory default then run the Cisco Connect software. Bear in mind that once you reset the router, you will temporarily lose the internet connectio until cisco connect will be done doing the configuration. But just in case you need to do manual setup, you may also check these links on how to set up the internet with cable or DSL internet connection:

  • Captivate 8 Installer Win 8 never completes initializing

I've upgraded to a new computer with Windows 8. I've downloaded Captivate 8 and allowed the packages to create the installation directory. I am using a SSD boot drive, and I am installing applications on a secondary drive. I'm following the instructions in the ReadMe document. When I run the Set-up application as Administrator, the installer never completed initializing, but "disappears". If I try to run the installer again, I get a message that the Adobe Installer is already running. I see the Adobe Application Manager running in the background, but I'm stuck.
I've double-checked the hardware requirements, and everything is good. Is there something simple I'm missing?  Thanks for any help in advance!
    Mary

Here's the final update on this, again in case someone runs into something similar.
The issue wasn't with installing Captivate on a secondary drive. I had another secondary drive that was causing the huge lag. After fixing the problem with that one, Captivate installed like a champ.
Use the Task Manager > Performance tab to identify hardware that may be causing issues.
    Fix any hardware issues.
    Try to install Captivate again.

  • S10 - Installation WIN 7 stops on "starting windows" screen

HELLO! I am trying to INSTALL WINDOW 7 64bit and 32bit but all over the installation of window after arrival last reboot where I should ask all the configuration PC and instead stops on the screen "Starting Windows." you did you install it? thanks to the availability (the pc is always the same ThinkStation S10 6423-26G)
Moderator note: Subject line adjusted to match the problem

I have seen this issue before. If you can borrow another persons graphics card do so. I had to put a cheap pci or pci-e card in mine in order for it to boot. Then once it does you can boot into safe mode and install the nvidia driver. At that point you can shut down and put your quadro back in and continue. Mine did the same thing.
    Thanks

  • Problem with installation Win 7 Pro OEM - Lenovo T420

    I have a Lenovo T420 Laptop.
I have a problem with the installation of Windows Professional. During the installation, you are trying to enter the original key, which is located under the battery laptop. After entering, it displays something like this:
"The key is incompatible with the current storage unit ID windows"
With what could be the problem? I record Windows Professional X64 GB from a DVD.

I called to Microsoft and they said the key can be installed on x64 and x32.
Is the Lenovo T420 must be some special plate with the system?
