Re-Installing InDesign Without Having De-Activated Previous Copy

Hello folks,
So my hard-drive has gone haywire and I had to have it formatted to be able to use it again, the only problem was that I could not access it to de-activate InDesign before it was lost. When I reinstall it now, will I have a problem?
Before this hard-drive problem occurred it was installed on said hard-drive and my laptop, as I was told I am allowed to have it on two machines.

A reinstall on a new machine is usually not a problem, particualrly after a long interval as the activation counter resets periodically. If yo do have a problem, there should be a phone number in the error dialog that you can call to straighten things out.

If you own any verson of iPhoto '11 then there is a free update to version 9.5.x in the App store
If you own a previous version of iPhto (iPhoto '09 or earlier) then as always an upgrade to a new version (in this case iPhoto '11) is a paid upgrade and you purchase it in the App store
and no OS update/upgrade contains a version of iPhto - it is a seperate program and although it is included as part of every new Mac it is not a free program and never has been sinve version 1 or 2 (I forget when it changes)

Installing driver without having connected printer

Hi.
I have to install the hp laserjet p1102 driver to my Server 2012R2 without physically connected printer for remote desktop sessions. I had downloaded LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution, but I can't install it without printer. In the unpacked folders of the LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution-file I can't see the inf-files to install it manually. I can't install the updated driver too, cause I have to have the old driver.

The computer (and driver) have to handshake with the printer, QED it has to be either online or physically connected and if it is physically connected it wont work on the network so yes it does.

Re-install Mail without having the disk ...

After beeing having deleted Mail from my hard disk I now want to re-install, but I can't locate the right Mac OS X install Disc and would think Mail would be available somewhere as a download ... Can't find it though. Anyone any tips, except for installing Thunderbird, which I allredy have?

You can use Pacifist to extract and install just that application from your 10.5.x install disk. Then update with the 10.5.8 Combo Update This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before.
Remember to Verify Disk before update and repair permissions after update from /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.

How do i sync new files without haveing to untick previous files

I want to add more music files to my ipod however i cannot find a way of unticking over 400songs already synced without doing so individually. I obviously dont want to duplicate those i already have on it so can anyone give me a hint on how to do so please. I dont want to have to keep resetting the ipod as i had to do once before and then re sync all i have at the moment.

How exactly is your iPod set up to sync music from your iTunes library? Automatically or manually? If is set up to only sync checked songs and videos? If that is the case, all you should have to do to add new content is place a tick mark in front of these new tracks in your main iTunes library and then resync your iPod.
If that is not the case, report back what options you have ticked from under your iPod's Summary and Music tabs.

HT201364 i made the mistake of installing Maverick without having the extra 8 gig of space.

Now am I stuck in a loop of not being able to go back and take off files for the extra space and now able to move forward and restore from Time Machine
Tried to link with a firewire cable and togle "T" to see the HD on another computer to move files, but that didnt work either.

Can I undo a backup without having done a previous one?

Here's what happened to me, my father used my macbook to do a backup in his iPhone a few days ago, and today I connected my iPhone to my macbook for the FIRST TIME, but when I was going to set it up I accidentally chose to use my father's iphone backup! So now I lost all of my contacts, my messages/whatsapp conversations, my photos etc.
Would anyone know if I can UNDO this backup and still keep my phone the way it was before I made this mess?! Since it was the first time I connected my iPhone to my laptop I had never done a backup on it before! I'm desperate!

No. You can't undo it. You chose to restore your 'new' phone from the backup of an existing phone. In that case, it was not backed up before the restore took place. There is nothing to restore from. You will need to erase the phone and start over. You can re-sync your contacts from whatever cloud service you were syncing them from. If you had Photo Stream turned on, the last month of photos will still be there. IF you had already turned on iCloud backups and a backup was completed to iCloud, you can erase the phone and restore from that.
Otherwise, the information is gone.

Edit the document without having to save a copy

At my work we get lots of plans in pdf format, that often need rotating. However, more often than not we get a box saying "This document restricts certain features...." yadda yadda yadda, and makes us save a copy before we can edit it. This is very time consuming. Is there any way to remove this feature or get around it so we can just rotate the damn document without going through all this hassle?

I downloaded the wrong version of a movie HD instead of SD, can I return it without having to purchase another copy?

Over the weekend I purchased a movie through iTunes, unfortunately the format I meant to purchase was SD and not HD, Unfortunately I purchased the wrong version, and would like to "return" it if possible. I intend to watch it on a larger screen that doe not support HD formatting.

To set to download to HD: Preferences > Store > change your preferred HD format to 1080p.
To download as SD uncheck "Download HD when available"

I need to install printer driver without having connection to printer

I have developed a Filemaker Pro database that is hosted over the internet. One of the users has a HP 6700 printer that is not printing envelpes properly. I would like to install the HP driver on my computer so I can test the Print Setup dialog box in Filemaker using that driver. I downloaded the driver from HP but I cannot install it without having a connection the printer. Is there a way to do this?

Basically my computer is running on Snow Leopard. My father bought the Lion upgrade to install on his computer, however, it ended up being that his newly purchased lap top already came running with Lion -- thus, he never ended up using the Lion upgrade he purchased. Now, I would like to use the Lion upgrade he purchased but did not use to upgrade my computer to Snow Leopard. The information he gave me for this was the Web Order Number, Part Number, and Content Code for the Lion upgrade. How do I redeem/use his upgrade to update my computer to Lion without having to purchase another copy of the Lion software from the App store? Is that possible?

Can I make a PDF form that can be filled out and (more importantly saved) in Illustrator or InDesign without having to use Adobe Acrobat Pro?
I only have Adobe Reader XI. Do I need to purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro in order to make a PDF form that can be filled out and saved by others? or is it possible to do this solely through Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Adobe Reader?

InDesign can export to a filable form, assuming you add the fields in InDesign (6/CC) and export as an interactive PDF. You can't create a form with Reader or Illustrator. You also can't Reader-enable with anything other than Acrobat, so Reader users will have to use version 11 in order to save a filled-in form.
