Re-installing Muse

I can't re-install Muse. The Apps manager says it is up to date. However, it is no longer on my system. I need it.

    I uninstalled the previous version of Muse and tried to download and install the current one, it downloaded 50% and came up with an error Installation Failed, more information:

    Please uninstall "Adobe Air" from your system and once done, please reinstall Air from this link: http://get.adobe.com/air/
    You can find the uninstaller for Muse in "Programs and Features" in a "windows" machine and in the "Utilities" folder in a "Mac".
    After Air is installed successfully, download and install Muse from this link:
    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac
    Windows: http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_win

    Cannot install Muse trial because the installation package says it is corrupt. I tried to download the Englisch and the Dutch versions both, but both with the same message: contact the 'maker' of te program. So here I am, big 'maker'... pleas help.

    I'm trying to install Adobe Muse but keep getting an installation failed message. It generates the following error code

    Please look for Muse in your machine and uninstall it if present. Run the cleaner tool: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation -problems.html and remove any ruminants of Muse.
    Enable root account:http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 in case of Mac.
    Download CC desktop and try to install
    Muse:https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud .

  • Installing Muse from the cloud app manager

    I have the full latest version of Muse installed on my computer, but the adome app manager still has an install button next to that particular app. Should I install Muse again from within this app?have the full version of Muse not the Beta already installed. I don't want to lose any sites I am working on.

    All the sites/projects that you work on are saved as .muse files. Just keep them safe and you will be able to open them again after a fresh install.
    Did you install your Muse 1.0 using the Adobe Application Manager while logged into AAM with your Adobe ID?

    If it isn't installed and if that is a Mac machine, use the Spotlight to search for anything Muse related and remove. Look into the Trash folder too to find any instances of the app.
    Most likely you're trying to install Muse using the CC Application Manager and as Muse is an Air application, there are certain limitations in how we interact with the Application Manager that can cause these types of conflicted states. Refer to the following thread for more about this - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1253307.
    Also include external drives in your search for an old version of Muse. You can attempt to install the app using the installer found here as well (another thread for reference <http://forums.adobe.com/message/5052701#5052701>):

    How are you trying to install Muse. From Creative cloud application or Adobe.com.
    If you are trying to install it from Adobe.com I would recommend you to install Creative cloud application from the link below.
    https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
    Once Downloaded and installed, please go to Apps and install Muse.

    Stevens33176288 please utilizes the steps listed in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed to reinstall Adobe Muse.

    The folder locations mentioned above are incorrect. (They come from a post I made on our previous forum software were I typed <username> and the forum software deleted that text.) The correct folder locations are:
    Try deleting the "MBLStore" folder found in
    on Mac: username/Library/Application Support/Adobe
    on Windows XP: username\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe
    on Windows 7: username\AppData\Local\Adobe
    and delete the "AdobeMuse" folder found in
    on Mac: username/Library/Preferences
    on Windows XP: username\Application Data
    on Windows 7: username\AppData\Roaming
    Then launch Muse again.

    How do i install muse on a second pc?

    I did, because it couldn't hurt anything. I also considered that the trial message might just be an error particular to this situation. The worst that can happen (if it doesn't get resolved here) is that I have to come back to Adobe Support in a month if it quits working and there's not some option to log in and activate it then. I'm not too worried, because in my product manager, PS and LR were marked for Install, not Try, which should indicate that it recognized they were paid for, and I installed off that Install button. The only other time I had to resort to Support was with a graphics card issue with PS, and I got stunning phone support for nearly an hour until we figured out it was a file permissions error with PS Sniffer's ability to write a log file. So I'm not too worried.

    I also can not Install Muse on WIN 8 Pro
    The CreativeCloud  says ists installed and up to date, but the Application is not there.  Win does find it to deinstall it. Then i did download it from http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_win and did try to install it again. Same thing as bevore.
