Hi All,
I am using HP Touch pad and I am facing installation problem. I have to install application updates as suggested by system but not able to install it.
Although I have checked all the setting but again facing same problem and I have already gone through the secure erase as well as erase application setting.. But not able to resolve that problem.
Intact I am not able to down any other applications as well as videos or songs too'
kindly help me out I am fed with this problem..

Have you installed the App Catalog update? HP emailed all registered webOS device owners back in July of this year about the update, and the consequences of not installing it.
Without it, all updates will cease and the App Catalog will no longer function.
See this thread at the top of this section for a link and instructions. Since you missed the deadline, you will have to try the "trick" of setting the time to previous of July 23, 2013.

Itunes latest update failed to install
Latest update failed to install.
Loaded manually.
Now won't run at all...
HELP....Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Firefox won't open in Windows 8.1 after latest update failed to install
Latest update for firefox failed to install.
Now, when I try to open firefox, I get the hourglass circle and then....Nothing. Check the processes and it is showing as a background process, but not doing anything. No error message, no crash alert.
So, I uninstalled firefox. Download the installer. Open the installer and...nothing. Again the process is there but nothing is happening.
Tried killing all processes and rebooting and trying the re-install. Still nothing.
The only thing I haven't checked is Nortons Firewall but I thought I might as well ask while I am at work if there is anything else I should check.
Was working fine until this update failed. On Win8.1I would try restoring preferences: Restore preferences | Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, CS5.5
If that doesn't work, a Clean and Reinstall might do it...

Latest update failed to install and cannot now open iTunes at all.
I tried to install the latest update of iTunes on my laptop but it failed. I got both a 'runtime error' message and also an error message saying 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start.
I have tried uninstalling and resinstalling an earlier version but nothing is working so I am unable to back up my files and transer things between my iphone and my kids' ipod Touches.
I would really appreciate any ideas of what I can do as I need to get iTunes back on my laptop.

If you haven't already done these steps, this section contains information that might help your situation, as the order and manner which you uninstall has an effect on the outcome:
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.

Latest update failed 6 times, then Firefox will not start.
Latest update self installed 2 days ago, after which Firefox would not run. Tried restart and shut down, but it would not even open. System restore cured problem. Then it tried partial update, which failed. Full update caused same problem, so ran system restore again. This morning partial update failed again. Run Glary utilities Pro once a week, everything else working to spec, this is the only update that has caused such problems. Even tried uninstalling Firefox, and new install, but problem still the same. I have no doubt that when full update is installed problem will return.
Firefox 15 is constantly crashing. I never saw this behavior prior to version 14. I tried the "disable hardware acceleration" setting, and it made no difference.

Latest update failed, computer won't even start up
Downloaded the latest update (don't know which one, it was just a few days ago; system update and iTunes). The update failed and locked up. Upon shutdown, the computer will not start up. All that comes up is the grey apple and the spinning circle of lines (for hours). It's a 3 month old 27" quad-core iMac. I have tried starting up from the DVD and re-installing the system, but it fails saying there are essential files that it can't install. Disk Utilities says that it appears the disk is fine. Repair permissions had an error that it couldn't fix. Also, tried resetting PRAM. Disk Warrior DVD didn't start it up. Do you have any suggestions? I am not Terminal savy. Thanks.

Do you have a Time Machine (or other) backup of your System from just before the update?
If so, then you can boot from the installation DVD, and then select ["Restore System From Backup"|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/15638.html].
If not, then you may be forced to Erase your disk and fully reinstall OS X using the installation DVD. Follow [these instructions|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3910] if you wish to do that. (Note that it will delete your data).

PhotoShop CC - Latest update fails.
Have talked to/chat with support and they don't have an answer. Their solution uninstall/reinstall. Did that and it didn't work.
have the log files from the update and there seems to be a problem with two files, C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\lib\ServiceManager-Launcher.dll and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\zlib1.dll.
Support was not interested in the log files. Is there anyone in Adobe that is at all interested in looking at the log files and coming up with a solution to this problem.The open case number is 0185043427.
I've talked to support and the last time was a chat session where they took control of my system and attempted to do things. One thing that bothered me was when they were through the admin logon password was gone and I had to re-establish it. My normal logon is a member of the Administors group and has admin privileges. I have also attempted to do the update while loged on as the Administrator. Same errors both times.
OS is Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit. My system has a four processor CPU and 8gb of memory.
Below is the contents of the log file. I've cut and pasted as I don't see a way to attach a file.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Latest update failed to download
Tried to download the most recent itunes update for windows, an error message appeared and stated that it would have to be manually downloaded....

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

I was trying to do the latest update on my desktop for my Itunes. I got MSVCR80.dll is missing. I saw a post about deleting all the apple itunes programs, restarting and reinstalling. I tried that. As it was installing a message came up about "Service'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start systems services. I did a retry, got the same message, then hit ignore. It went on. Then a message popped up saying "Itunes not installed correctly" Error 7 (Windows error 126)
Now my Itunes program will not open at all. What gives? This is very frustrating and I am not very computer literate to begin with.Hi Iss9243,

Apple's latest update to iTunes failed to install on my computer with Windows 8.1 64 bit. I have reinstalled in many times, removed Itunes via Control Pannel, etc. etc. No luck. Tried to go back to an older version, but all of the installs try to install the latest version. I suspect there is a problem with this update and vesion.
